Luo Lian continued to gaze out the window, where the small buildings outside grew fewer and farther between, until they seemed to disappear into a vast forest that stretched as far as the eye could see. The trees towered above, their dense foliage blocking out most of the sunlight. The car drove along this dappled, sunlit road for twenty minutes before Luo Lian suddenly spotted something in the distance - a glint of blue light peeking out from behind the trees. This was no ordinary blue, but one that shone like a precious gemstone. As she looked closer, she realized it was water, a vast expanse of ocean stretching out to the horizon. This was the sea she had always dreamed of. Transfixed by the sight, Luo Lian felt as though she had been reborn. She almost leapt from her seat, shedding the reserved demeanor that had constrained her for so long. "Look!" she exclaimed, her voice ringing out across the landscape. "The ocean!"

The people who were dozing off in the carriage were startled by her, and a classmate sitting next to her laughed and asked: "What's wrong with you, why are you so excited?"

Lotus suddenly felt out of place and restrained herself, smiling: "My home is in a place very, very far from the sea. I've never seen the sea before."

"I've seen so much on this boat that I almost threw up, but I still haven't had enough!" a classmate who was pale from seasickness said not far away.

The classmate next to her was still chatting with Luolian, but Luolian's head had already turned back to the window, and her eyes were filled with the sparkling waves of the sea, her mind elsewhere, flying to the center of the sea.

The car drove along the coast for another half hour, and the university district arrived. Next to the suburban beach, the car turned a corner, and the entire street was Ming Bay University. Lian saw the Academy of Fine Arts first, with the number 108 on the sign. The Ocean College, numbered 106, was right next to it. Across the road were the Dance Academy, numbered 107, and the Music Academy, numbered 109. There were more in front, but they were too far away to be seen clearly.

She got off the bus, pulled her luggage and walked quickly, throwing away the gait she had practiced before. She found the registration place for the pre-college class at the school gate, signed her name hastily, took the dorm key, followed the senior who guided her into the dorm building, found her dorm room, threw down her luggage, ignoring the fatigue of several days and nights on the road, ran downstairs quickly, following the sound of the sea, went out from the back door of the campus, and rushed straight to the seaside.

Her feet had already stepped on the soft beach, Luoluo took off her shoes and walked barefoot, the white fine sand caressing every cell of her soles. If she wasn't afraid of startling her classmates around her, she really wanted to dance on this white sand or simply lie down and roll over.

It was already near dusk, with one sun in the sky and another in the sea. The water was like a burning fire, red and bubbling. The coastline of Ming Bay University District stretched far away to both sides. On either side of the horizon, the seawater was half crystal clear blue and half bright red, mixed together to form a dazzling purple color.

As she saw the sea, her heart suddenly churned like boiling water. She always felt that the sea had a special connection with her. Although she knew it was just her own fantasy for over a decade, emotionally, there was an inexplicable and wonderful feeling. In this country where she had only been for a few hours, she already deeply fell in love with it and felt a deep sense of familiarity. She was willing to indulge herself in more fantasies, so she murmured softly: "Am I starting a new life or finally returning?"
