Chapter Three
I cursed my fate in my heart, was it another monster coming?
For a while, there was no reaction, and the force in front of my throat also disappeared instantly, which surprised me. When I opened my eyes to look, the monster's shadow had already disappeared.
"You..."
Looking at the boy who walked out of the woods, I was stunned. When did our school have such a handsome guy?
Black hair fell to just below the shoulders, slightly curled, and under black-framed glasses, smiling eyes shone like stars in the night sky, thin lips curved upwards, giving the impression of a face that was always smiling.
"Are you okay?"
He smiled slightly and walked over slowly, his shoulders moving slightly, which scared me again. Could it be another monster transformed?
I muttered a silent curse in my mouth, ready to strike him at any moment, but just then, he suddenly reached out his hand in front of me and said softly, "Are you okay?"
"It's nothing, it doesn't matter."
I felt a bit embarrassed and avoided his eyes, scolding myself for thinking too much. This was obviously just an ordinary high school student, so why did I think of him together with the demon?
He had a faint smile on his face, with a gentle and soft expression that was as warm as the spring breeze, making people feel very comfortable.
From young to old, I have never seen a boy as handsome as him. His hand gently grasped mine, and I felt his hand was icy cold, like it had no temperature at all. It felt like touching a corpse, just like the temperature of my dad and mom's body when they were buried.
"Xia Qinghe, your name is Xia Qinghe?"
My heart tensed up again with his words, I pushed him away, "How did you know my name?"
He shook his head and smiled, seemingly finding my reaction somewhat amusing, which made me a bit annoyed.
The next second, he reached out his hand to my chest again, and Bai Yu's fingers seemed to carry a mysterious power, making my heart throb violently.
I sprang up, instantly several feet away from him. I turned around and drew the soft sword from my waist, pointing it at him. "Take your death, you stinky monster! How dare you behave like a rogue in front of the lady?"
I'm so angry, this stinky monster, actually dared to reach out and touch... touch my chest, it's simply a great humiliation.
The monster frowned slightly, seeming even more unhappy.
He then awkwardly pointed his hand at his own chest and said helplessly, "I saw your name here, actually I didn't have any malicious intentions."
"Ah?" I shouted, and suddenly understood what he meant. I stuck out my tongue in embarrassment, wanting to crawl into the bushes.
He just smiled and walked over, extending his hand to me, "Hello, my name is Zhang Ruofei."
I reached out and shook hands with him, smiling and saying: "Hello, my name is Xia Qinghe."
"I think your name is quite interesting." He slightly pursed his lips and couldn't help but smile.
I furrowed my brow and gave him a cold stare, "You wouldn't also ask me, 'Are you Xia Yuhe from Daming Lake?' would you?"
Zhang Ruofei obviously didn't expect me to say that, and his face slightly froze for a moment before he suppressed a smile and said, "Who is Xia Yuhe? I've never even heard of her, how could you possibly ask me this question."
This is quite unexpected for me, I used to watch "My Fair Princess" in front of the TV when I was a kid and even fought with my grandfather over the remote control.
But every time Grandpa won, so I could only sneak a peek when he was taking his afternoon nap.
