Chapter 33: Making a Bet
The car slowed down and stopped in front of the Blue Mansion. Liu Qingfeng's eyes, with a gentle smile like the wind, looked at Lan Ruoxue who was sleeping beside him with deep affection.
He gently stroked her small nose and whispered softly. "My princess, we're home."
She opened her blurry eyes, rubbed them gently. Lazily yawned. "Oh!" She responded drowsily. Last night's dance party made her sleep late, and she got up early this morning to head back, now she was so sleepy that she couldn't even open her eyes.
"Are you very sleepy?" Seeing that she still had her eyes closed, he mischievously leaned in close to her delicate and lovely ear, lightly licking the edge of her earlobe with the tip of his tongue. In a low, husky voice, he whispered: "Or else, I'll carry you up."
The numbness made her whole body suddenly shake, making her instantly awake. She opened her big watery eyes and stared at him with a pout. "Hate you, I didn't need your hug."
He curved his lips into a charming smile, and even the two thick eyebrows rippled with gentle waves, like the bright crescent moon in the night sky. His fair skin set off the pale pink lips, handsome and prominent facial features, perfect face shape. "My princess, I really sincerely want to hug you, give me this chance."
She gently patted his solid chest, her face flushed with a hint of redness, and her bright eyes reproachfully stared at him. "You don't want to be human, but I do!"
"Alright, I won't hold you now, but later I'll carry you into the bridal chamber." He grasped her white jade-like hands, a sly smile spreading across his face, and his mischievous eyes gleamed with an evil charm on his handsome face.
"Who said I want to marry you, you self-righteous guy." She turned her head away with a blush and ignored him.
He put away his playful smile and gently wrapped his arms around her from behind. The low, masculine voice whispered in her ear, accompanied by hot breath, pouring into her ear and neck. "Xī'er, I'm serious. This lifetime, I've only recognized you. If you don't marry me, I'll take you anyway?"
The warm breath on her ear made her whole body soft. She gently pushed him away, turned around and pinched his nose, playfully blinking her big eyes. "Don't!"
He flashed a devilish smile and threatened, "I'll give you one chance. Say you want to marry me. Otherwise, I'll have you arrested."
"No way!" She turned her head and ignored him.
His hands came to her waist, slowly moving up and down. "Do you want to or not?"
"No means no. Haha... haha... what are you doing, quick! Ha. Don't... scratch... I'm itchy! Haha..." She twisted her body and desperately dodged.
He stopped his mischievous hand and smiled wickedly. "So, my princess, will you agree?"
He felt her restless hands. "Don't, I promise." Her eyes were shining with tears, pouting. "You're using dirty tricks."
"My princess, this is called cleverness. Otherwise, where would I get a beautiful woman to hold?" He smiled happily with a mischievous curve of his lips.
"Really?" She smiled slyly, like a cunning fox.
She slowly leaned in close to him, her sultry whisper. "Dare you make a bet with me?"
He looked at her with interest, what was this little devil going to play now. "What's the bet?"
"I bet you can't sit there for three minutes without moving." She smiled slyly, with a confident look.
He chuckled and gently scratched her nose. "You'll definitely lose this one, I'm not afraid of tickling. The trick you used on me won't work on me."
"Cut the crap, are you in or out?" Her bright eyes locked onto his, filled with confidence.
He raised his thick eyebrows and narrowed his black eyes. "Alright! Let's bet, who's afraid of whom? You have only three minutes, if you lose, I'll deal with you as I please."
She flashed a sly smile like a cat stealing cream."But you're going to lose anyway. Now, close your eyes."
He nodded and closed his eyes as he was told.
She drew close to him, a faint elegant fragrance swirling around his nostrils. She hooked up a devilish smile, her soft hands lightly slid onto his chest, and her fingers playfully drew circles on it. He trembled slightly as the numbness spread throughout his body instantly.
She leaned in close to his ear and whispered softly. "Qing Feng, don't move, okay? If you move, you lose."
His entire body tensed up instantly, stiffening like a burning flame, and he let out a comfortable murmur: "Oh..."
Like a string that was constantly tightened, it suddenly "sprang" and broke. Before she could react, he hugged her tightly and kissed her lips fiercely, wildly and recklessly sucking on them.
Until he was satisfied with the kiss, he finally let her go, suppressing his almost exploding body, gritting his teeth and saying: "Little devil, if it weren't for being in the car, I would have devoured you."
Her face flushed, she picked up her luggage and quickly opened the car door to jump out. She made a face at him outside the window. "Qingfeng, I won! You owe me one thing! Bye!" She playfully winked at him and waved goodbye.
"Bye!" Liu Qingfeng waved goodbye to her, his deep eyes filled with sweet smiles. He lowered his head and looked at the still-standing tent. Shaking his head helplessly, forget it, he'd better hurry back home and take a cold shower to calm down.
It feels great to be home! Lan Ruoxue smiled brightly and saw Xiao Ye busy with a pleased expression. "Xiao Ye, I'm back."
Xiaoye, who was wiping the table, heard her shout and quickly raised her head. As soon as she saw her, she rushed to her with a excited face and stared at her in surprise. "Miss! You're back! That's great!"
She pinched Xiao Ye's cute round face, with a mischievous smile. "Do you miss me?"
"Think! Think! Miss, you're not home, it's so quiet and cold at home." She nodded desperately.
Lan Ruoxi smiled happily. "Silly girl!"
"Miss, aren't you tired? Xiao Ye will go and fetch hot water for your bath." Xiao Ye happily took over her luggage and rushed upstairs quickly.
Lan Hanyun, who was sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper, raised his head. The corners of his mouth hooked up a faint smile, and the icy glint in his eyes instantly turned into a pool of clear water. "Xier, you're back."
"Brother, how come you're at home?" She looked at him in surprise, remembering that he was usually not at home at this time.
He stood up, slowly walking towards her. His heart ached as he looked at her slightly pale face. "I knew you were coming back today, so I waited for you at home. Xiang'er, you've lost weight these past few days, you must have suffered a lot?"
She took two steps back, smiled awkwardly. "It's okay! Brother, I'm a bit tired, I'll go upstairs first." YY drop, in her heart, the night and Qingfeng had already been stirred into a mess, if Blue Han Yun came again, would it be possible for people to live?
"You'd better get some rest." He still smiled gently and doted on her.
"Oh! Okay, brother." She nodded and quickly ran up the stairs, as if a ghost was chasing her from behind.
She walked halfway and suddenly thought of something and stopped in her tracks. She poked her head out from the entrance hall. "Brother, have Mom and Dad come back?"
"Not yet! Not even a message. It's really worrying!" He furrowed his brow, with a hint of concern in his eyes.
"Oh! Brother, don't worry. I believe Father and Mother are fine." She nodded slightly, a thread of unease slipping through her heart. As she comforted him, she also calmed her own uneasy heart. She gave him a bright smile. "Then I'll go upstairs first."
"Mmm!" He nodded, silently gazing at the empty staircase, a hint of sorrow flashing across his dark, profound eyes.
