28 Ghosts go on a rampage
The town is still some distance from Qin Village, although the county seat has convenient transportation, this rural area can't keep up with the pace of the county seat. The rain stopped after a while, and I got on a tricycle with Uncle Ah to head to Qin Village. My teacher is an uncle in his fifties, with somewhat dark skin.
In Guizhou, after the rain in autumn, it's a bit cold. I held Xiao Bai tightly in my arms, and when the wind passed by, my nose felt sour and I sneezed. At that moment, I saw Uncle's blaming gaze.
Uncle blamed me for not wearing more clothes, but Uncle wouldn't know that girls usually show their best side to the people they care about.
But Uncle Ah is the person I care about most!
The trishaw driver was quite enthusiastic, driving seriously while saying to me on the back seat, "Little girl, Guizhou is originally a cooler place, you are from other places, right? It's not suitable for the first time."
I giggled on the seat and said "thank you uncle."
Although I didn't live in Qin Village for a long time, two years was enough to make me understand Guizhou dialect. Uncle Ah said that the languages of Guizhou, Sichuan and Yunnan are relatively easy to understand, and they differ from Mandarin only in terms of pitch, which I totally agree with because I can basically understand Guizhou dialect.
The tricycle rattled along, bypassing the asphalt road and turning onto a bumpy one, jolting all the way.
I was almost dizzy in the car, and the driver laughed at the front of the car, "This road is a bit poor, but this is the only way to Qin Village, little girl, you'd better sit tight."
One hand holding Xiaobai, I freed one hand to grab the armrest beside me, but the car was still shaking violently.
His hand grasped my waist and I slid into his arms like a swallow, I looked up at Uncle Ah, he hugged me in his arms, the corners of his mouth rising.
As I grew up, this was the first time Uncle took the initiative to hug me. I could feel that this ordinary hug was different in nature, because it felt different, and this feeling made me drunk.
"After about three minutes of bumping along, the driver's voice came again, 'You two can sit down now.'"
Before I could even prepare, my butt was shaking even harder, and my heart seemed to be about to shake out. I tightly grabbed Uncle's collar, and Xiao Bai in my arms used its paws to tightly grasp my sleeves, afraid that if we weren't careful, the car would toss us out.
The wind whizzed past my ears, and another minute of "long" waiting passed. The tricycle finally regained its original speed, and I climbed out of Uncle's arms.
Holding Xiao Bai in her arms again, "Uncle, what just happened?"
The driver sighed in front of the car, "It's already six o'clock now, miss."
I raised my hand to take a look at the time and it was indeed past six o'clock. "It's already 6:10."
The driver sighed, "It's normal that you haven't hailed a car for so long today. This road from the town to Qin Village, not just now, but even in broad daylight, nobody wants to come."
I looked at Uncle A with some confusion and puzzlement.
Uncle's face didn't show more expression, I asked the driver, "Why?"
"I don't know if you're here in Guizhou for tourism or visiting relatives, but since you're a brave girl, I'll tell you, it doesn't matter, just listen and don't go spreading it around, people around here are quite superstitious."
I nodded vigorously, and the more it was like this, the more it piqued my curiosity.
