Bastard instructor 007
I'm lying in bed reading my "The Return of the Condor Hero". I admit, this book has a considerable age, it was published from 1959 to now, it can almost be my grandfather. But have to say, it is indeed a classic work, although the writing style has a bit old feeling, but still like to read it.
When I was completely absorbed in what I was looking at, a hand grenade suddenly flew onto my bed. I jumped up immediately and saw that the hand grenade was emitting a white smoke. Suddenly, many hand grenades flew in from outside the window like rain, and the fire extinguishing device on the roof started spraying water. The dormitory instantly fell into chaos.
"Attention all, get fully armed immediately and assemble at the square!"
The camp was like a beehive that had been poked at this time, with shouts everywhere.
When I arrived at the square, there were already over a dozen people standing there. I held my sniper rifle and hastily ran over. Very quickly, scattered soldiers came running from all directions. By the time I arrived, it had been two weeks since this had begun. The earliest ones had already spent three months living in this way, with no one in charge, where everything was done on their own initiative. From then on, I understood a principle: no matter what you do, you can't relax your vigilance towards yourself. Once you show leniency to yourself, the only outcome is that you'll be trampled underfoot by others.
Across from us stood five men wearing black combat uniforms, they also had a look of disdain on their faces, with a somewhat sloppy feeling, anyway, there was not even a bit of a military appearance.
I saw a man holding a huge machine gun, shouting at us: "Everyone listen up, the target is the big mountain in front of you, move forward with the fastest speed, and the last 100 people to arrive will be eliminated." After finishing speaking, he jumped onto a helicopter and flew into the blue sky. His code name was Tianhuo (Sky Fire), I never knew his real name until later, when I found out that they were a group of people who didn't have the qualifications to own names, they belonged to the living dead.
At this time, they had not yet reacted, and saw several people running towards the big mountain...
"Damn it, not even a starting signal!" I cursed and rushed after them. I roughly estimated that according to their rules, at least half of the people would be eliminated. As for how many people there were in total, who cares?
Maybe I should thank Jiang Long, that guy who got me into the cooking class. He always bullied me, so my physical strength is quite good and I'm still pretty confident. At least I won't be eliminated. So, I ran leisurely...
I saw a familiar figure, for a moment I couldn't think of who it was. I quickened my pace and ran over to take a look...
"My god! It's you, this damn bastard, you're actually participating in this ridiculous selection too? Looks like you're not doing well either!" I looked at him with a hint of sarcasm. He was the one I had been thinking about day and night, the one whose head I had fantasized about stuffing into his ** countless nights. It was Jiang Long, really, life is full of surprises.
"Hmph, didn't expect you to show up in a place like this. Someone like you is better off staying in the kitchen feeding pigs. This kind of place isn't suitable for you." Jiang Long said disdainfully.
"Yes, this kind of place is where people like me who feed pigs come, there's no future here. But someone like you, Director Jiang, you're here to inspect work and experience life, why would you bother with someone like me? Who are you to say who is or isn't?"
Jiang Long's face was also a sheet of iron blue, and he endured it without making a move.
Actually, from that time on, I knew that people like him, who are strict and disciplined soldiers, are not on the same level as scum like me. The final fact proved that I lived a few more years than him. That was after he was restored to his home and entered some kind of anti-drug border patrol team - I don't remember the exact name because my reaction to such things is "none of my business". We even did several missions together, but he never mentioned that he knew me. It wasn't until later that I found out that when I was a mercenary, he had always trusted me and knew I wasn't a ruthless person. To be honest, now I don't know whether to hate him or love him.
I stared at him with a mocking expression on my face.
Then I quickly ran away, "Come on, chase me if you dare, punk!"
Jiang Long is also a military man with backbone, and the two of us rushed forward like crazy, neither giving way to the other...
What infuriated me the most was that those instructors, each sitting in a helicopter, watched us run from above. Occasionally, an empty bottle would be thrown down from the sky, and once it almost hit my head. When I raised my sniper rifle, a bullet pierced through the sling on my chest with a "crack". I admit, I was indeed intimidated. They were simply not in the same league as us.
When I finally ran to the top of the mountain, there were already two helicopters there. One was from that group of bastard instructors and the other was from Zhang Guang's gang. In front of them were many bottles of water and food. I felt like I was going to die. I had run past the finish line and immediately sat down on the ground, propping my gun up with both hands, panting heavily. Zhang Guang threw me two bottles of purified water, which I drank in one gulp. If it weren't for that unknown sniper, I wouldn't have ended up so miserable, without even a sip of water along the way.
I sat on the ground, Jiang Long was with me when we arrived, after I crossed the border I sat down to rest, Jiang Long continued walking to the front of the food, struggled to pick up a bottle of water and poured it down, then drank another one, smiled at me and raised his middle finger, I looked at that guy and smiled.
"Damn it." I wouldn't exhaust myself to death for that kind of thing, the only one I care about is the woman I like - Chen Xue. As for him, go ahead and be angry with me, what's in it for me? Love it or hate it. This reminds me of a joke: A farmer raised two chickens, one laid bigger eggs that could sell for five cents, while the other laid smaller eggs that could only sell for four and a half cents. The farmer asked the chicken laying smaller eggs, "Why don't you lay bigger eggs so we can make more money?" The hen replied, "Only an idiot would strain themselves to death for just half a cent."
I'm not that stupid, I won't exhaust myself to death for the sake of saving face, I'll do what's useful and avoid what's not. Youth is short-lived, can't afford to waste it like this. In conclusion, there are only two things in life that bring true comfort: eating, sleeping, and of course, being with a woman - something I've been striving for all along.
It was almost dark, the damned instructors were lying on the plane watching the sunset, completely ignoring our presence. I thought about it and didn't care, I also started sleeping, everything is fleeting, sleep is the most important thing.
After dark, I guess they had nothing to do, so let us go down the mountain overnight and return to the camp. These bastard instructors still flew back in a plane and didn't say another word to us.
It was only later that I realized they just didn't want to talk too much with some unqualified people.
