Act 1 Chapter 15
"What did you say?"
"I said, don't shoot."
"Oh, I didn't hear that." As soon as the words were out of her mouth, she had already aimed the gun at her head, and her hand lightly opened the safety. It was very quiet here now, and she knew she could hear the sound of the safety being released.
"Don't shoot!!!" She looked tense, her voice unnaturally high. 'Was she trying to alert others?'
"Shut up and put down your weapons."
"Alright, alright, right away." She said as she quickly removed the equipment from her body. However, her movements were very small and slow.
"Assault rifle, pistol, dagger, grenade, smoke bomb." He watched her slowly remove the weapons from her body, counting them out loud as she did. Quite a few, huh? How are women so fierce nowadays?
"Alright, we can talk safely now." She watched as he removed all the equipment from his body and also holstered his pistol. Although he had no weapons in his hands, he was confident that if she threatened his safety even for a moment, he could put a hole in her head.
"Aren't you afraid I'll counterattack?" The woman, now that she no longer sensed danger, spoke with a hint of teasing.
"You're really calm, aren't you afraid I'll kill you?"
"Didn't they say the PLA treats prisoners of war well?" She was taken aback by her own question and didn't know how to respond, so she simply asked a few questions she wanted to know.
Observing her carefully under the moonlight, she clearly has East Asian features, but I don't know where she's from. Is she a "TW person"? Since I couldn't figure it out, I might as well just ask directly.
"I've already joined RB nationality, now I'm an RB person." She said with a proud face.
Bang! Hearing her say that, he took a big step forward and slapped her face. He used a lot of force, and she flew out sideways. Looking at her slowly getting up from the ground with his eyes, "I don't know whether I should kill you, this RB person, now or what to do instead. Why don't you teach me?" As he spoke, his left hand had already drawn out a handgun, holding it in his hand, while speaking to her in an offhand tone, 'Guess she'll take it as a joke.'
"What about you? Do whatever you want with me, I won't complain~" As she spoke, her chest leaned in slightly towards him, her tone also somewhat ambiguous.
"Don't lump me in with those animals."
"Hey, you're still shy, men are all like that, saying one thing with their mouths but thinking another in their hearts."
"What? You have an opinion?" The one who spoke, bent down and pulled out the dagger that was still stuck in some poor devil's head, closed his wide-open eyes with a swipe of his hand, and then wiped the dagger clean on the man's clothes. "Next time you do something like this, bring gloves." The blood on his right hand was already drying up, feeling very uncomfortable.
With his back to the woman, he could see out of the corner of his eye that she had been staring at the handgun on the ground, very close to her. All she needed to do was make a dash for it and she could grab it. But after hesitating for a long time, she still didn't make a move. "You're really clever," he said, turning around to face her with a sarcastic tone.
"Hehe~ People who know me all say I'm clever." Are you really unable to tell, or are you just pretending with me?
She slowly sat down, casually pulled out a water bottle from her backpack, leaned against the tree trunk, looked at her, and slowly unscrewed the cap. She brought the bottle to her mouth. "What's in your bottle?" The liquid that flowed into her mouth was not the long-awaited clear water, but a sour **. Startled, she could only spit out what was in her mouth.
"Haha ~ that one is lemon juice, lemons picked yesterday, squeezed the juice at hand."
"Lemon? I don't remember this one being wild too?"
"Of course not, but there's an orchard at the foot of the mountain, I picked it from there."
"What about the people inside?"
"Kill him." The two words came out of her mouth very easily, as if what she was killing wasn't a person, but something else.
"Why? You're also Chinese! Why kill your own compatriots?"
"I said it, I'm an RB person, you're all enemies, of course I'll kill you" She was still talking to herself there, but the one listening to her words had already become deaf to everything, only feeling the flames of anger in her chest burning her brain into a complete blank.
When he realized it, he had already pointed the gun at her head, his finger was already on the trigger. His eyes saw her fearful gaze, she didn't say anything else. He hurriedly stopped his impulse, because there were still many questions that hadn't been asked, and he had to figure out some things.
"When you kill someone, have you ever thought that you would be killed?" The question in his heart and the words from his mouth were two completely different directions.
"None of your business, did you kill me?" with a very disdainful tone.
"Why?"
"Our great RB Empire, with the strongest warriors, the sick man of East Asia." Are you provoking me? Do you want me to lose my mind?
"How old are you?" Seeing me play cards out of turn, she also looked taken aback.
"What's wrong?"
"You're quite clever for your age, knowing how to use people's psychology. How many years have you been a soldier?"
"Since the invasion of your country, I have been a proud warrior."
"How many Chinese people did you kill?"
"Do you remember how many grains of rice you ate when you had your lunch? Calm down, calm down."
"How many soldiers did you kill."
She seemed to hesitate for a moment, then lowered her head and said loudly "I've lost count too."
"Fart, only know how to bully the weak idiot." He casually smashed the water bottle in his hand on her head, watching as a red trickle slowly flowed down from her forehead. He didn't feel any guilt, but instead felt an exciting feeling rising up from the bottom of his heart.
"I, I, I didn't" She covered the wound on her head and loudly refuted what I said.
"Little girl, just little girl, I don't have the mood to play games with you anymore. Tell me, how many people are chasing me? Why did you set up that forward base? What's the purpose? What's the goal? How many of you came here? Who are they?" She interrupted her own roar and threw out a bunch of questions casually.
"Why should I tell you?" You're still quite stubborn!
"Because you can't die." A very simple condition, I'm not afraid you won't agree.
She lowered her head and thought for a moment, then said something that could be considered a threat: "I can tell you, but you absolutely won't be able to escape our grasp. When we catch you, don't let anyone else know what I told you. Otherwise, I'll personally interrogate you and make you understand what hell is." Woman, do you know how much trouble you are?
He didn't scold her, but instead picked up the equipment she had thrown aside, pulled out a submachine gun magazine from it, and with a swift motion, slammed it onto her head. "I'm not interested in listening to your nonsense, I need to know what I want to know. This time I can still control my hands, next time, it might be a dagger flying over."
"You don't know how to treat girls well at all!" She said with her hands covering her head, casually throwing out an accusation at me.
"Since you've taken to the battlefield, you're no longer a little girl. When you kill people, you must have the awareness of being killed. Now you are my captive, and I have the right to know what I want to know." Patience was already being ground to the limit.
"We came with 200 people." Seeing that there was no way to get past, she could only start telling me everything I wanted to know, but as for which sentence was true, she herself didn't know.
"What is the composition of the team and the quality of its personnel?"
"Our great RB Empire's warriors have arrived, 50 of them. The others are from M Country's Delta Force. They're all elite fighters." "Warriors? Delta Force? Ha! I've taken care of them myself!" (thinking to himself) What a joke.
"What's left of your elite troops, huh? Tell me, after your base was bombarded, how many of the best, the most elite, warriors are still standing?" He emphasized the last nine words heavily.
"That was your despicable and shameless sneak attack, a sneak attack. We can't get in touch with the base, we can't go back, the highest commander of the team decided that no matter what, we must catch the person who delayed our time, that is you, you be careful." Her words were spoken in a biting tone.
He didn't scold her but instead smiled lightly at her and said "Not bad, how many people are in your search party?"
"35 of them were killed by you, but the remaining ones are enough for each one to take a bite and eat you up." Are you very angry? Get angrier then, anyway you don't have much time left.
"What's your mission?"
"I don't know."
"Really or fake?"
"I said I don't know, it means I don't know. We just established our base and haven't received any mission yet, then you guys showed up."
It seems she doesn't know much either, although I'm very suspicious of her words' authenticity, but I've also lost interest in asking. The troops who are about to arrive at their base for cleanup will be able to learn more from the documents they find. "Alright, my questions are done, you can ask three questions and I'll answer them, consider it a gift to you. Although I really dislike you."
"Ah~ Can I ask too?"
"Cut the crap, I don't have much patience."
"Who are you?"
"I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but 'Hayabusa', this name?" He looked into her eyes as he spoke, slowly widening them in surprise.
"You're a falcon!!!" An incredulous query, immediately followed by an enlightened expression. "So that's why you were sent to scout us out." She seemed to be thinking of something, but just smiled lightly and didn't say anything.
"What are you going to do?" While she was thinking about something there, he had already put on all his equipment, easily pulled down his sniper rifle from the tree and carried it on his back, then walked in front of her.
"What do you think?" As the speaker said, he had already put on the gloves that were taken off from the dead body next to him. Then, he slowly tore open the Velcro of her bulletproof vest.
"So that's what you were thinking. They say all men are the same." She looked at him with a knowing expression, and he didn't continue to say anything, instead continuing to unfasten her bulletproof vest and then pulling down the zipper of her clothes. Her whole body was pressed against his, and in his nostrils was the nauseating smell of perfume.
"You're so bad." Her clothes were undone, she slowly closed her eyes, and murmured something incoherent, while he didn't let her lie down, but instead used his left hand to support her soft body clinging to his, and with his right hand, gently pulled out a dagger.
"Ahhhhh!" A shrill, mournful cry. Her eyes suddenly snapped open, filled with incredulity. At that moment, his dagger had already plunged into her abdomen, and then with a swift horizontal slash, he cut her intestines in two.
"Why?" The painful curl of her body on the ground rolled around, and a last question came out of her mouth.
Gently squat down, lay her body flat, and put her two hands on the wound "Press hard, you can live for about 20 minutes. You said you are an RB person, so let's cut your belly open. If you want to ask me why I wanted to kill you but also untied your clothes, it's because that wouldn't be good for stabbing and would damage the dagger's blade. The third question, I've already answered you."
"You said you wouldn't kill me."
"I didn't kill you, I just wanted to help you commit suicide."
"Scam artist!!!"
When she questioned him, he smiled lightly at her again. "Yes, I deceived you, what can you do? Listen carefully, woman, to what I'm about to say. Tell the people who will come later that Chinese are not good to bully. What you have done to us, we will return tenfold and a hundredfold. You are just a small interest we collected on our way to revenge." After finishing speaking, he gently helped her tidy up her disheveled hair, then removed her hairband and gently tied his own hair with it.
"This will be my spoils of war." Then, she picked up the handgun she had always wanted to hold and fired it continuously into the sky until all the bullets were gone.
"Your people will be here soon, don't expect them to save you. Just lie down quietly and look at the sky, think about when you killed others, their pain."
After finishing speaking, she picked up her ID card and took a look: 'Kawashima Shizue, ancestral home Taiwan.'
"You know? You're dead." After saying the last word to himself, he slowly walked towards the depths of the forest, where it was very dark and suitable for ambush.
