Chapter 32: Mawa Wants to Join the Team (2)

  Mawa suddenly let out a loud cough. "Cough, cough."

  The sound of her coughing was effective, and Tiantu heard it and turned around to look at her. When he saw that it was Mawa, he felt a bit uneasy.

  Tiantu patted Longfanglan's back: "Fanglan, Mawa is over there. I'll introduce you to her."

  "Yes, if it wasn't for her and her father, I might not have seen you again. Come, let me introduce you," Tiantu said, walking up to Mawa and saying to Longfanglan, "Her name is Mawa."

  "Hello, Mawa. My name is Longfanglan. Thank you for saving Tiantu," Longfanglan said, extending her hand to shake Mawa's.

  But Mawa ignored her and turned to Tiantu: "Tiantu, take me to see your team leader."

  "Why do you want to see our team leader?" Tiantu asked, confused.

  "Are you taking me or not?" Mawa asked unhappily.

  "You have to tell me what this is about," Tiantu said.

  "If you're not going to take me, then I'll make your team leader come see me," Mawa said, pulling out a gun from her shoulder and firing it into the air.

  The sound of the gunshot immediately startled everyone. The team members rushed out with their weapons, asking loudly: "Tiantu, what's going on?"

  Tiantu had fought in several battles before, but he was still startled by Mawa's actions. Seeing his teammates rush over, he quickly stopped them and said: "Everyone go back, it's nothing. Don't make a big deal out of this."

  The refugees were also startled. They were all frightened and rushed out of their quarters, asking each other anxiously: "What was that gunshot? What happened? Are the Japanese coming again?"

  Guoyinan also ran out quickly.

  "Tiantu, what was that gunshot?" Guoyinan asked, seeing Tiantu and the others standing there. "Who fired it? Why are you firing randomly?"

  "It was her who fired the gun," Tiantu said, pointing at Mawa. "She wants to see you. I can come back thanks to her and her father's help, but I don't know why she insists on seeing you. Guoyinan, you should ask her yourself."

  Tiantu turned around and introduced Mawa to Guoyinan: "This is our team leader Guoyinan. You wanted to see him, didn't you? What do you want to say to him?"

  "Is it just to see me that you fired a gun?" Guoyinan asked, looking at Mawa up and down. "What's your name?"

  "Are you really the team leader here?" Mawa asked, putting away her gun and looking at Guoyinan.

  "Yes, I'm the team leader here. My name is Guoyinan. What do you want to see me about?"

  "Are you planning on forming a team to fight against the Japanese?"

  Guoyinan didn't know what Mawa meant, so he hesitated before nodding.

  "I want to join," Mawa said.

  It wasn't until then that Guoyinan and Tiantu realized that Mawa just wanted to join their team to fight against the Japanese. They couldn't help but laugh together.
