Chapter 32: Mawa Wants to Join the Team (1)

  "Did you see that?" Long Fanglan asked in surprise, "Where did you see it? Wasn't it very dangerous?"

  Mawa replied indifferently, her eyes still fixed on Tianhu, who was surrounded by the crowd. "Ask him yourself."

  Long Fanglan didn't know what to say and looked at Mawa with a puzzled expression.

  "You're asking how we met?" Tianhu asked, his voice filled with excitement. "I brought him here myself."

  Mawa snorted in disdain, her eyes still fixed on Tianhu. "If it weren't for the fact that he's also fighting against the devils, I wouldn't have bothered with him."

  Long Fanglan realized that Mawa seemed to look down on Tianhu.

  Long Fanglan didn't know what reason would make Mawa look at Tianhu like that, but Mawa's attitude towards Tianhu suggested that Tianhu's experiences before returning here must have been very tortuous and dangerous. Mawa said she saw Tianhu being chased by the devils and almost killed himself, which was probably true.

She had seen Tianhu's team earlier, a young and vigorous team that was united against their enemies, and she wanted to join them to fight against the devils. That's why she endured and waited for everything to end before asking Tianhu to take her to meet their leader and request to join the team.

  If it weren't for this reason, seeing Tianhu and Long Fanglan like that would have been unbearable, and she would have left long ago.
