Wei Xingyun hasn't been smiling much these past two days either.
I can understand his mood. Zhuo Er is so busy, it's impossible to find out the truth so quickly, and even if he did find something, he wouldn't be able to notify Wei Xingyun. Without a clue, without a channel, without any gain, it's inevitable that one would doubt oneself and fall into despair.
I used to think I knew Wei Xingyun well, but now I suddenly don't understand him anymore. What is he so persistent about?
Could it be that he only realized I was the one he loved the most after losing me?
Forget it, don't be so sentimental, Xia Miangmiang. All these years, the result of your sentimentality has always been disappointment.
He suddenly stood up, didn't take his phone, picked up the keys and walked out of the house.
Thank goodness, he finally agreed to take a breath of fresh air on his own initiative.
The place we live is an old-fashioned neighborhood, but the greening is still done very well, with many trees and flowers. The elderly in the neighborhood often help take care of the flowers, grass and trees. In the past, I always liked to drag Wei Xingyun away from the computer, sit on the edge of the flower bed at the door, watch the setting sun that was about to disappear, watch the old people cooling off at the door, tease the children coming and going, and the lovely little dogs.
I had also discussed with Wei Xingyun before, wanting to raise a small dog and take it for a walk every night, but was vetoed by Wei Xingyun. The reason is very simple: we all have to work and don't have time to take care of it.
I sighed, "Well, I've decided to work hard and earn a good income!"
"Uh-huh."
"So I can raise a little white face and help me take care of the dog at home every day!"
Wei Xingyun looked at me with an unbelievable expression, I smiled smugly and winked at him, he still looked at me in disbelief, I finally couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Wei Han Yun shook his head, shifting his gaze elsewhere, but a faint smile crept onto the corner of his mouth.
Then I squeezed and squeezed towards him, determined to squeeze until there was no gap between us. I lifted his arm up, put it on my shoulder, and snuggled into his chest.
Before she knew it, the only one left sitting by the flower bed was Wei Xingyun.
Although I am still by his side, I can no longer feel his warmth.
A familiar barking sound came, and with a sudden rush, a big dog rushed to my side again, barking at me. I was so frightened that I hid behind Wei Xingyun's back. "Hey, little friend, you're quite brave, aren't you? Are you not afraid of ghosts because they're small animals? Or did you pick on me because I'm a weak and easy-to-bully little ghost?"
I made a face at it and it grinned back at me with its mouth wide open.
That demented owner of his slowly ran over again, bent down and wrapped him in his arms, "I'm telling you, Hirata-kun, you're quite bold, believe me or not, I'll lock you up if you run around like that again!"
Just now the little Ha was still in a rage, but now it only made two low sounds, its small eyes looked pitifully at its owner, with an expression of being wronged.
But this name is very Japanese.
The girl scolded the dog, then stood up and smiled apologetically at Wei Xingyun, "Sorry, sorry, I scared you again. Actually, it's not usually like this, maybe because it doesn't come out often, so it can't help but get a bit excited. This dog just looks fierce..."
Just as the girl was about to launch into a long and rambling speech, Wei Xingyun bent down and scratched Xiao Ha's head. The little Hachiko dog wagged its tail after being petted twice, licking his hand with an extremely satisfied expression.
Wei Xingyun smiled and withdrew his hand.
"Oh no, wait a minute, I have some tissue." The girl rummaged through her body in a flurry to find the paper.
"It's okay, I'll go wash my hands in a bit."
"Uh, you'd better go wash your hands," she flipped through for a while, looking embarrassed as she raised her head, "It turns out I didn't bring any."
The little dog, now calm, looked at me and then at Wei Xingyun, finally walked over, stretched out its paws and scratched him.
"Haha, it likes you and wants to play with you."
For some reason, Wei Xingyun, who had never been interested in pets before, actually started playing with this Harajuku dog.
I'm gazing at the girl next to me with a mix of admiration and envy, she's young, lovely, and alive... most importantly, she has a dog that can help her build bridges, after all, how many romances start like this!
But seeing Wei Xingyun's rarely seen hearty smile, I finally put aside my sour mood and floated to the side of a tree, quietly watching them and listening to their conversation.
This is the life Wei Xingyun should have.
"As a matter of fact, my girlfriend also likes dogs and has always wanted to keep one," Wei Xingyun said suddenly.
"Ah, you have a girlfriend now," the girl said with a disappointed expression, then curiously asked: "Why didn't I see her come out with you?"
Wei Xingyun's hand paused on Xiao Ha's as he said in a distant tone, "She's away on a business trip."
"Hehe," the girl squatted down and patted Xiaoha's back, "although my family's Pingtian Jun's name is very manly, in fact it's still a young and beautiful little lass, when she has a baby, I'll give you one."
"Hmm," Wei Xingyun said with his head down, "when she comes back, we'll raise one."
I subconsciously wanted to bite my lower lip, but bit empty air instead, and could only endure the sourness, turning my head to one side.
When I come back, can we raise a little dog together?
But when can I come back?
A man suddenly turned his head on a bench not far away.
He wasn't a particularly handsome man, but he looked very confident. In the bright May weather, he was still wearing an out-of-season black windbreaker and leather boots. When the breeze came, the leaves on his head swayed with the wind, but the hair on his forehead didn't budge at all.
Under my gaze, he slowly revealed a sly smile, and his eyebrows suddenly relaxed.
I used a great deal of strength to break free from the terror in my heart and fled to Wei Xingyun's side in disarray, as if he could protect me.
When I turned back, the man was gone, as if everything that had just happened was just an illusion.
