Chapter 16: They're all blind
The people dining in the tavern heard Pong's shout and were shocked, some wanting to leave first.
Facing the loud shout of Fat Translation, Geng Yuan was not afraid, but instead drank wine while coldly staring at Fat Translation.
The fat translator was surprised and thought to himself: "Hey, good guy, ordinary people would be scared to death when they see Japanese soldiers, but this bald monk actually dares to give me a white eye, clearly not putting me in his eyes, nor the Japanese. Good kid, I've seen through you, you're from Biyuan Temple, you made a big fuss at Cangmen City, and the Imperial Army is searching for you all over the city. It turns out that you sneaked here to drink secretly. Luckily for me today, catching you, this bald donkey, will be a great achievement!"
Fat translator thought of this, glared at Geng Yuan, then came to the four Japanese soldiers who were eating and drinking like a grandson, pointing at Geng Yuan, winking and making a fuss. The four Japanese devils listened and raised their eyebrows, one of them suddenly stood up, kicked over the table in front of him, picked up the gun beside him, and the other three devils also picked up their guns. The four devils held guns with bayonets and surrounded Geng Yuan together.
It didn't take long for the diners in the tavern to run away, and the tavern owner tried to persuade them at the door, but it was of no use. The hotel was left with only Geng Yuan and four Japanese devils.
Four devils wailed loudly and rushed towards Geng Yuanbao together.
Geng Yuan was not afraid of the color, he picked up the wine jug and drank a mouthful of wine with ease. He stretched out his hand, grabbed the fan on the table, and with a flick of his right arm, the two devils in front who were holding spears had their wrists numbed by the force of the fan, and their guns fell to the ground. The two devils were not convinced, and raised their fists to hit Geng Yuan's head. Geng Yuan was calm and unhurried, pressed his hands on the table, and kicked out with both legs, just kicking the two devils in the chest, one leg per person. The two devils retreated several steps, stumbled backward, and fell flat on their backs.
The other two devils, seeing the situation, held their bayonets and stabbed at Gengyuan's chest. Gengyuan supported himself on the table, his body lightly jumping up more than two meters high, not only dodging the two devils' incoming bayonets but also landing behind them with a single jump. With a left and right open bow, the eagle claw fist heavily hit the two devils' backs, causing them to lose control of their bodies, charging forward, and falling onto the bottom of the table. The table was knocked over, covering the two devils, and the cups, plates, pots, and bowls on the table surface all smashed onto the two devils.
The fat translator, who was watching from the side, saw that Geng Yuan had easily knocked down four devils without even breaking a sweat. He was truly shocked. The fat translator became afraid, fearing that Geng Yuan would approach him. With trembling hands, he pulled out his pistol and fired at Geng Yuan.
Geng Yuan saw it clearly, and hastily came up with a somersault, rolling to the side of Fat Translator, and with one move "Rabbit Kicks Eagle", kicked Fat Translator flying, heavily smashing onto a dinner table. The dinner table was smashed into powder by Fat Translator's weight of over 180 pounds. And Fat Translator also fell hard, lying on the ground, wailing "Dad! Mom!"
The four devils came to their senses. They pointed at Geng Yuan, shouting in stiff Chinese: "Ba Lu, Ba Lu working hard!" The four devils opened fire.
Gengyuan took a look at the situation and it didn't seem good, so he hastily grabbed a tabletop to protect himself. He then jumped onto the windowsill, kicked open the window with one foot, and leaped out of the window. As he left the windowsill, Gengyuan exerted all his strength to fling the tabletop at the devils. The tabletop flew horizontally and knocked down four devils. By the time the four devils got up and rushed to the window, Gengyuan had already vanished without a trace.
He ran out of the tavern, Geng Yuan displayed his lightness skill, and after a few leaps, he ran out of Bayin Town and came to a small forest outside Bayin Town. Geng Yuan sat under a big tree, thinking about what had just happened, and thought: "That dog translator, looking down on people with dog eyes, I am the young master of the Security Commander, but he couldn't see it, and even let the Japanese soldiers catch me, what a scoundrel! Hmph! Dog translator, wait for me to recognize my dad, and then I'll settle this account with you.
Geng Yuan stood up, looked back in the direction he had just run from, and saw no one chasing after him. He felt relieved. He opened his cloth bag, took out a few silver coins, and only then remembered that he hadn't paid for the meal at the wine shop. He said to himself with a wry smile: "It's not that I didn't want to pay for the meal, but those Japanese who don't know their stuff wouldn't let me pay. They even saved me the cost of one meal. In that case, this fight was quite worth it."
Geng Yuan leaned against a large tree, thinking about his life: "Hmmm, I've been living in Biyuan Temple since I was young, and now that I'm grown up, I still haven't seen what my father looks like. Even if my father ran into me, no one would say anything, and he wouldn't recognize me either. So how did that dog translator know I'm the son of the Security Commander? Hmmm, if it wasn't for me fighting with Feng Renshi and him discovering the green snake pattern on my back, I might have gone my whole life without knowing about my past! Why didn't Master tell me about my past? What is he hiding from me? Now that I've come down the mountain, I must solve the mystery of my past."
Geng Yuan left the big tree, patted the dirt off his body, and was about to take a big stride towards Cangmen City. Suddenly, he found that on the main road at the edge of the forest, a group of security guards were escorting a man with five flowers tied up in the direction of Cangmen City.
Gengyuan suddenly felt a surge of spirit and thought: "The security team, isn't it the troop of my father Fang Renhe? Now I've found my relatives."
Geng Yuan was overjoyed and shouted to the security team on the main road outside the forest: "Wait for me, I want to go with you!"
The loud shout of "Geng Yuan" scared the security team members, who immediately became flustered. A captain-like security team member holding a handgun shouted: "There's a situation! It's the Eighth Route Army, or maybe it's the guerrilla army, quick, quick, everyone retreat to the dike on the side of the road! You two, push that Eighth Route Army soldier down behind the dike quickly! Quick, prepare for battle! Quick!"
They pushed the tied-up Eighth Route Army soldier, and all lay down under a dike by the side of the road, setting up their guns and taking aim at the forest from which the sound had come.
Before long, Geng Yuan happily ran out of the forest, shouting: "Wait for me, I'm going to Cangmen City too, let's go together!"
The captain of the security team saw a young monk with a shaved head running out of the forest and thought of the chaos caused by the monks of Biyuan Temple in Cangmen City. He shouted, "Fire! We can't let that monk rescue the Eighth Route Army!" The security team fired wildly, forcing Jin Yuan back into the forest.
Back in the woods, Geng Yuan became sullen and unhappy: "Alas! Today is really a bad luck day. Seeing that father's men all know to greet me with bullets, these people are really blind. I'm coming to join you, I'm going to Cangmen City to recognize my relatives, you bunch of idiots!" Geng Yuan cursed.
Geng Yuan stayed in the woods for a while, and when the gunfire stopped, he walked out of the woods. He looked around for the group of people, but they had all disappeared without a trace. Geng Yuan didn't want to see that group of people again, nor did he want to travel with them, so he decided to take a nap in the woods first and then hurry on his way later.
