  Gu Xian was walking ahead, when he suddenly heard someone calling his name. It was strange, as the person only called out once and then stopped. He suspected that he had misheard, so he didn't turn around and continued walking. However, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, and eventually turned back to see Du Juan standing not too far away from him, her two eyes fixed intently on him as if monitoring his every move. When she saw him looking over at her, she immediately pretended to be nonchalant and shifted her gaze elsewhere.

  Gu Xiannian's heart was filled with a huge question mark, and he hesitated as he walked towards her. Du Juan saw this and hastily ran over to him, blocking his path and saying: "Your leg hasn't fully recovered yet, so don't keep walking around."

  "How did you end up here?" Gu Xianian asked sternly, his brow furrowed. At this moment, he also noticed that several delinquent girls from their class, including Jiang Lili, were squeezed onto a long bench on the side of the street, reserved for pedestrians to rest.
