Chapter 5: How much for one night?
At 9 o'clock in the evening, in the center of Mingze City, a newly opened red wine bar was bustling with excitement. Various men and women were dancing under the flashing lights, while a young and handsome bartender had numerous glasses arranged in front of him. The various ingredients that emitted light gathered together to form cup after cup of delicious and intoxicating cocktails.
She walked up to the door and heard the loud music, she poked her head out and took a look, her eyes were pitch black and bright, with a thread of unfamiliar curiosity.
And there's also a high stool. Jing rushed over and sat down on the stool, the bartender smiled politely: "Miss, what would you like to drink?"
"Hmm. Bring me a cup of milk, please." She said matter-of-factly, her eyes wandering around. This was her first time in such a place, usually at home, they didn't allow themselves to go out.
It's okay, I guess. We just had a bit of a fight.
"Sorry, this is a bar, we don't have milk." The bartender explained patiently.
"Ah... I see. Well, just bring whatever then. Thanks!" She smiled with her eyes narrowed.
"Whiskey is okay."
She stared at the cup in front of her, which only had some iced black tea added to it. She took a sip and didn't like it, so she stopped drinking. When she was about to leave, the bartender called out to her: "That'll be 400 yuan."
"What?" she repeated in surprise, "It still costs money? I only have a few dozen yuan left today."
Just when I was feeling embarrassed, a hand suddenly patted on the bar, it was Cat Nick.
"I'll help her with that." The cat was already a bit drunk at this point, and gazed at Jing with narrowed eyes, "It's you."
"That's right." Jing immediately stood up. "What a coincidence, I'll definitely return this money to you when I get back to the dormitory, thanks Maotou."
"It's nothing." The cat wrinkled its brow, and it was really frustrating to meet her like this. "I'm going to the restroom." She said, stumbling towards the restroom.
Jing stood still for a while, planning to go back to the dorm with Miao Ni together, but five minutes passed and Miao Ni still hadn't come out. Nothing's wrong, right?
She rolled her eyes and immediately ran into the bathroom.
The cat just came out of the compartment, feeling a bit dizzy, and was suddenly pushed to the wall, hitting the back of its head on the tile, the pain making it clear for a while.
"Are you sick or something?!" The cat scowled and glared at the stranger before trying to leave, but was pulled back.
The man sneered and laughed, his face gradually getting closer: "What's with the act? Name a price, how much for one night."
The cat's whiskers curled up at the corners of her mouth, and a seductive arc bloomed on her lips, the intoxicating charm was even more alluring to men.
But she just laughed, like a madwoman.
"Hey." The man pinched her chin. "My patience is limited." What he didn't notice was that the cat-like hand had already grasped the spring knife in her pocket. She believed that as long as she lightly pressed the knife against the man's abdomen, he would immediately obey and slink away like a dog.
But before she could pull out the knife, a dull thud was heard. He Kun smashed the wine bottle on the man's head, knocking him unconscious, and then ordered his men to drag him away.
"It's all right." He puffed on his cigarette and looked up at the cat tower.
"You don't come, I'll be fine too." The cat smiled and released the grip on the spring knife, stumbling towards the door.
The next second, he saw Jing, her pitch-black and bright eyes were filled with a hint of surprise and astonishment.
"Hmph." The drunk her couldn't help but let out a cold laugh. "Scared you, didn't I? Let me tell you, stay away from me because I'm just that kind of bad girl. Being with me will definitely bring you bad luck."
After walking a few steps further away, he suddenly turned his head back: "Oh, right. You can also tell the whole world, tell Wei Chi, what I'm doing here."
She didn't understand what she was saying, she just wondered why she had encountered danger but didn't shout or cry out, and even now, at this moment, she could still smile so calmly.
Although she didn't know why, she thought that cat was really cool!
