Chapter 5: You won't be satisfied until you've ruined me
The dry cement ground outside the window was scorched by the sun and shone brightly, making it hard to open one's eyes.
Although it's over 30 degrees outside, in the office with air conditioning blowing on my arm, I still feel a bit chilly.
"Good student Liang Chen, you are an excellent student. Logically speaking, you should be admitted to the best special class." The principal said, as if being looked at by Liang Chen made him feel unnatural, and he lightly coughed once, "However... I took a look at your family situation. You don't have any relatives, and the tuition for the special class is twice that of the ordinary class. So... I hope..."
"Good timing," she said coldly, interrupting him. "So, I didn't plan on going to the special class anyway."
"Oh, haha, that's good." The principal smiled with relief and walked up to him, intending to pat his shoulder, but Liang Chen dodged it coldly.
He looked at the principal with a poker face and turned around to leave the office.
The principal was left standing awkwardly in his place.
In the principal's desk drawer, a stack of cash was quietly lying, which was a national scholarship. This belonged to Liang Chen originally.
But now it is his own private property.
The cat was just walking out of the school gate, she stood under the white poplar tree, her mobile phone suddenly sang a song lightly, and after answering the call, a familiar male voice came through.
"Hey, kitty, going to sing?"
"Not interested." The cat looked up at the sky, but actually it was a lie. If Wei Chi knew that she went to KTV, it wouldn't be good, right?
"Also true, kids wouldn't like a place like that either." The tone on the other end of the phone was clearly sarcastic.
"Who said that, I'm now at the school gate, come and pick me up." Meow hung up the phone with a "pa" sound, and He Kun's two words suddenly disappeared into the darkness. Che, she wasn't some kind of kid, how dare he look down on her.
She found a place to sit down and wait, but the ground was too hot to bear, so she leaned against the tree trunk with nothing to do.
He Kun, this person, Wei Chi didn't know.
After breaking up with Wang Xiaohu, He Kun started contacting her. As a result, Wang Xiaohu avoided the Red Bar to avoid trouble, while Miao Miao became a regular customer and even helped sing songs to attract customers when she had nothing better to do.
I heard that Miao Ni moved to Ming Ze City, and He Kun immediately ran over here and opened a new chain bar called Red.
Tonight is the opening of the bar, they plan to go to KTV to sing and then go to the bar to have fun at night, she has never been interested in participating in such activities.
A black sedan slowed down in front of her, kicking up wisps of dust, and the cat wrinkled its brow.
He Kun got off the car with a crew cut and wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, his first move was to offer a cigarette: "Mao Ni, want one?"
"Goodbye." She waved her hand, dispersing the smoke. With a somewhat disgusted look at him, "He Kun, you won't be satisfied until you've completely corrupted me, huh?"
"Who dares." He Kun smiled with a crooked mouth, revealing a row of white teeth. "Besides, you're already such a big person, do you still need me to bring you?"
The cat rubbed against the corner of her mouth without leaving any marks, actually she wasn't very repelled by He Kun, he was a clever man and also her own brother.
Although it's not very close.
"Let's go." She opened the rear car door and got in, the air conditioner was on inside, music was playing, and Catnip suddenly felt her mood cool down with it.
Arrived at KTV, Meow saw He Kun and his gang of friends again, didn't feel like socializing, sat alone playing with phone, occasionally sang a few songs, drank a few bottles of wine. Don't know what they came out for, but got used to it after all this time.
Give He Kun a bit more face, and if anything happens to herself, she only needs to say one word, and He Kun will bring people to help her clean up the mess.
Why not enjoy it?
And besides, cats don't actually mind such places, noisy or jumping, leaving the earth's surface might be better.
She was fiddling with her phone when it suddenly rang, startling her. She thought it was Wei Chi, but upon closer inspection, it was an unfamiliar number.
Why am I like a thief, so big and still can't go out to play, it's very normal, Wei Chi knows it's okay. She scolded herself for being useless while answering the phone.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Catnip. I'm Jing." Jing sounded happy on the other end of the phone. "I saw your number on the sign-up sheet and thought I'd give it a try to see if it was correct. What are you up to?"
"Bored." The cat hangs up the phone with a press of a button. They're not even familiar with each other, so why does she keep lingering around like a ghost?
While buying daily necessities at the supermarket, Jing heard the busy tone on the phone, and couldn't help but let out a few sighs. She then put her mobile phone against the wall corner's loudspeaker. Still no sound. This is ridiculous. The signal here is so poor.
Will the cat think I'm being rude later?
She simply threw her phone into the shopping cart and pushed it towards the checkout counter.
She picked up a flyer that read "Red Wine Bar Grand Opening Tonight", and she narrowed her eyes, thinking it should be quite interesting.
