Chapter Thirty-Three
The fox's face was treacherous, with a sly smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. He walked over slowly and said in a treacherous tone: "You're not the one who said I'm despicable, shameless, and lowly? I came here to let you see what true despicability, shamelessness, and lowliness look like."
As I watched him approach, I couldn't help but tremble. Fox has always been reckless and never considered the consequences, I was really afraid that he would do something outrageous in front of Grandpa.
"Hey, hey, calm down, I don't want to see anything despicable and shameless, you... just don't come here again?"
The fox seemed not to have heard, still with a carefree expression, walking towards me. As he got closer and closer, I was terrified and guarded, slowly backing away step by step, my eyes darting towards the door. Fortunately, the door hadn't been closed yet. If he really gets too close to me in a moment, I don't care what happens, I'll just fling the shovel at him and then run out.
When I had already leaned against the stove and had nowhere else to retreat, the fox stopped in its tracks.
Seeing him stop, I slightly put down my heart and patted my chest with my hand.
But he saw him looking at Grandpa with his head tilted, and suddenly said: "Eleventh generation, come over and take a look, see how Ben Sheng suddenly can't move?"
"Can't move?" Grandfather exclaimed in surprise, "Fox Fairy, how can you be unable to move?"
Grandpa's old face was shocked, and he quickly ran up to him, squatted down, stretched out his hand to lift the fox's long skirt, and said: "Is it a leg cramp?"
The fox dodged with a turn of her body and smiled slyly, "Eleventh Generation, what are you doing? Why did you have to use force to lift my clothes?"
Grandfather said with a respectful face: "The old man wants to take a look at Fox Fairy's legs?"
"Cut it out, my legs aren't for you to see, 11th generation." The fox pushed away the old man and said: "I think it's because my clothes are too long, probably the hem of my clothes got caught on something."
"Oh, I see!"
Grandpa nodded, suddenly stood up, and with a diligent face, he quickly ran out of the kitchen to take a look, and pulled out the fox's long skirt from between the bricks.
"A child can be taught, and for eleven generations they've been so obedient. I'm delighted! Unlike that thirteenth generation, who always thinks of opposing me. Fortunately, she's not too clever, and with a little thought, I can see right through her."
Grandpa listened and glanced at the fox, then stared at me again.
I stood by and watched, my heart was so angry with grandfather's gentle appearance.
"Grandpa, I know I was wrong."
I thought to myself that no matter what I say to Grandpa now, he won't believe me. So I lowered my head and said to him with a sorrowful face.
The smelly fox's eyes narrowed with a smile, and he stretched out his hand to grab Grandpa's head again. This time, I couldn't let him be so presumptuous.
I saw his palm was about to slap down, I quickly grabbed the pot scoop and rushed forward, stretching out both hands to block in front of Grandpa's body, shouting loudly at him: "Don't you know that my grandpa is very old, how can you casually stretch out your hand to hit his head? Your strength is so heavy, what if you hurt him?"
"Will it hurt? No way!"
The fox looked like it didn't believe him, clenched its fist and said with a scornful face: "Is humanity really that vulnerable?"
