Chapter 21: Destruction

  Yi Yan looked at An Mingxuan with a cold gaze and replied, "Fine. I hope this is the only time. You can help me back to class, but after that, we have no relationship!"

  The two walked slowly along the small path of the teaching building, Yi Yan leaning on An Mingxuan's arm as they made their way to the classroom door.

  As they appeared, the classmates gasped in surprise. Yin Xueyue looked shocked, while Ling Yuyue seemed to be enjoying the scene.

  "Prince Mingxuan, what's going on?" the teacher asked, surprised to see An Mingxuan supporting Yi Yan.

  "The teacher, Xiao Yan fell down earlier, so I'm helping her," An Mingxuan explained politely.

  "Oh, I see!" The teacher nodded after hearing the explanation.

  However, a group of girls were not satisfied. Especially when they heard Prince Mingxuan call Yi Yan "Xiao Yan", they couldn't stop gossiping.

  "Hey, look! Prince Mingxuan is calling Yi Yan 'Xiao Yan'!" one of the girls exclaimed enviously.

  Another girl said, "Ah, she's a princess too! First, it was Princess Xueyue, and now it's Princess Yiyuan!"

  A third girl chimed in, "What's so special about that? They're just pretty faces. Who cares if they show off?"

  The whispers continued, filled with jealousy, admiration, sarcasm, and mockery.

  Yi Yan furrowed her brow and walked to her seat.

  "Xiao Yan, I'll leave now?" An Mingxuan asked.

  But Yi Yan ignored him, picking up a book to read on her own.

  An Mingxuan shook his head helplessly and left the classroom.

  It wasn't until after An Mingxuan had been gone for a while that Yi Yan put down the book.

  She didn't want to treat An Mingxuan like this, but if she let her guard down again, she would make another mistake. She couldn't afford to make another mistake!

  The class passed by in a blur, and when the bell rang, signaling the end of the period, Yi Yan walked over to Yin Xueyue.

  "Xueyue, your welcome for me was quite special today," Yi Yan said with sarcasm.

  "Yes, I didn't think you'd make it in," Yin Xueyue replied with a smile, looking confident.

  "Do you know that your behavior has provoked me?" Yi Yan asked, her eyes sparkling with interest.

  "What do you mean?" Yin Xueyue asked haughtily.

  "Destroy... the... Name... Huan... Gang!" Yi Yan enunciated clearly, her voice carrying across the classroom.

  The statement sparked another round of whispers.

  One girl exclaimed, "Wow, Princess Yiyuan is going to destroy the Name Huan Gang!"

  Another girl chimed in, "But that's impossible! The Name Huan Gang is too powerful. How can you just say you'll destroy it and make it happen?"

  A third girl said, "I think Princess Yiyuan seems pretty confident, though."

  The girls continued to gossip, with some of them even making bets on whether Yi Yan would succeed in destroying the Name Huan Gang.

  "I bet if Princess Yiyuan destroys the Name Huan Gang, I'll help you clean the toilets for a month!" one girl said.

  Another girl laughed and agreed, "Deal!"

  The whispers continued to circulate...

  "What? Destroy the Name Huan Gang?" Yin Xueyue exclaimed in shock. She had put so much effort into building the gang; it wasn't going to be easy to destroy!

  "Yes," Yi Yan replied, nodding before leaving the classroom.

  From that moment on, two factions emerged in the class: those who bet on Yin Xueyue winning and those who bet on Yi Yan winning. The losing side would have to clean the toilets for a month.

  Ling Yuyue watched the scene with great interest, enjoying the drama unfolding before him.
