Women Are Made of Fire (Chapter 8, Part 1)
"You two are monsters!" I exclaimed in surprise, only now understanding why the Mirror Pupil Secret Technique couldn't see anything strange about her - her monstrous body was made of wind, so it had no shape or form.
The dual wheels of wind and fire had not yet approached, but the scorching aura already enveloped me. Having suffered at the hands of the fire wheel before, I didn't dare to use brute force, so I first dodged its sharp edge, storing up a punch full of Hunyuan Jiaoyu technique, circling around the fire wheel and going straight for the strange and unpredictable wind wheel, intending to knock it back into its physical form.
The windmill suddenly rotated at a speed that was difficult to discern with the naked eye, generating violent tornadoes. The peanut fruit and the big tiger were blown away, the two of them lying on the ground, their arms tightly embracing the pavilion column, their hair standing upright. Nearby rocks were swept into mid-air by the strong wind, the broken pavilion roof was lifted off with a loud crash, flipped over several times in the air, and thrown towards the cliff.
I was in the midst of a fierce gust, yet I felt nothing, not even my eyebrows twitching. One punch accurately hit the wind wheel, and a muffled hum came from within the wheel, as it fell to the ground and transformed back into Guai. I then wrapped Huī Qí's air circle around the fire wheel, and Ling Kong Jian slashed down through the air.
The fire wheel flashed open in a hurry, and didn't even bother to fight with me. It transformed back into Gu Li and rushed towards Gu Gua, anxiously shouting: "Old partner, are you alright?" Then he turned his head around, looking at me with surprise and doubt: "How come you're not afraid of her whirlwind? Could it be that you've practiced the Wind Stabilizing Technique?"
I remembered the tiger eye beads in my pocket, and suddenly realized why Moon Soul said they were the best wind-calming beads. Huasheng Guo and Dahu got up with a start, their hair standing on end in a ridiculous manner. Huasheng Guo smoothed his queue and said awkwardly: "You'd better let go of my grandfather quickly, or else Lin Ge will beat you all black and blue!"
The strange thing suddenly jumped up again, turning into a whirlwind, accompanied by a howling gust of wind, which scared the two melon seeds to lie down quickly. This time, the strange whirlwind was even more violent, like a shocking wave, with ghostly wails. With a loud "boom", the stone slab cracked, and the pavilion was lifted up as a whole, shattered into pieces in mid-air. The melon seeds and Big Tiger were also swept into the air, their cries immediately drowned out by the raging wind.
My body is as stable as Mount Tai, I wield the armor-piercing technique, my left arm transforms into an iron chain, and in a flash, it wraps around the two Flower Fruits, pulling them to my side. My right fist uses the same old trick again, using the Chaos Armor Technique to knock the Wind Wheel back into its strange shape. Before she can escape, I grab her with one hand, my five fingers firmly pinching her clavicle. Master said that as long as you pinch a demon's clavicle, they cannot transform or cast spells.
Suddenly, Gu Lei's body shook violently, and a pained moan escaped his throat. Cold sweat dripped from his forehead. Enraged, he bellowed: "You stinky brat, what did you do to her?"
I was stunned for a moment, loosening my grip on her strange pipa bone, and grasped both of her arms with my hands. The strange woman continued to convulse violently, foaming at the mouth, and her face contorted in agony. I exclaimed in surprise: "Strange, I didn't do anything to her! Oh, your wife probably had an epileptic seizure."
Kuri was frantic, like an ant on a hot skillet, spinning around in circles. Suddenly, he slapped his forehead and shouted: "You must have been to the forest! Were the tiger's eyeballs dug out by you?"
I nodded, and Gu Li's voice trembled: "The tiger eye bead is her nemesis. If you don't let go of her, she will be tortured to death by the tiger eye bead on your body!"
I shrugged: "Letting her go is easy, but handing over the peanut shells is hard."
"I'm not in charge!" Gu Li was so anxious that his eyes turned red: "Let her go first! I'll beg you, old man, and kowtow to you." With a thud, he knelt down and knocked his head on the ground with a loud bang.
I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all, because the peanut skin was still in their hands. Killing the strange creature wouldn't do me any good, so I let him go. Gu Li quickly stepped forward to support her, and as soon as she didn't touch my body, the strange creature immediately returned to normal.
He glared at me fiercely, then gave a thumbs up and said: "Lin Xiaozi, this move of yours is quite bold. You didn't hurt my old partner, nor did you take her as a hostage. I, Gu Li, am very grateful. Let me tell you, Huashengpi and the others are safe and sound. Don't worry, we will definitely let them go!"
Guai also raised his thumb, repeating what Gu said. I was both angry and amused: "Stop talking nonsense, when can you hand over the person? You just said you couldn't make decisions, then find someone who can!"
Guri and Guai stared at each other, both scratching their ears. After a while, Guri said awkwardly: "You chat with us for a bit, and we'll let you go." Guai also showed an awkward expression: "You chat with us for a bit, and we'll let you go."
I was stunned, they went to great lengths to bring me here, just to chat with the old man? The sky had already brightened, the sun shone brightly, like a big red fireball, casting a reddish glow on Gu Li and Gu Guai's faces. I suddenly felt a shock in my heart, and exclaimed: "So you were delaying time, not letting me arrive at Da Qian City!"
"Stupid kid, this is for your own good, if you go to Dacheng City, you'll definitely lose your life."
"Damn it!" I was furious and couldn't hold back anymore: "You're with Water Six Lao's gang, aren't you? I'm going to rush back to Da Qian City today, no one can stop me!" I charged at Gu Li and Gu Gua like a fierce tiger. Since their goal was to use the peanut skin to detain me here, even if I killed Gu Li and Gu Gua, they wouldn't dare harm the peanut skin.
"Murder! Save us!" The Gu Li creature shouted, and before the words had even faded away, dozens of monsters suddenly surged out from all directions, baring their teeth and claws as they charged towards us.
"Crab! Stinky crab!" The peanut fruit pointed at a dark green face, waving its huge pincers and shouting. Its mouth kept spitting out large bubbles, which were the big green crabs from the stream earlier. Before it could show off, I had already performed the charming dance, kicking it to the ground with one foot, my left palm turned white as jade, lightly pressing on the crab demon's forehead. The latter instantly shrunk into a ball, slowly transforming into a crab spawn the size of a fingernail. I picked up the crab spawn and stuffed it into my mouth, swallowing it down.
"Fetal transformation and longevity sorcery!" Gu's expression changed, and he stomped his foot: "We don't have any malicious intentions towards you, why must you resort to such vicious means?"
I ignored him and protected the two Hua Shengguo, casting various spells to engage in fierce battle with the demons. The demonic powers of these demons were not weak, and I had to take care of Hua Shengguo and Da Hu's safety while keeping an eye on Gu Li and Gu Guai's movements, making it difficult to defeat them for the time being.
"Wow, you know a lot of magic!" Kuri shouted on the outside, pointing and gesturing, while Guai also laughed and repeated. The two just watched, never joining in to attack me, which was somewhat unexpected.
As time ticks away, I'm getting more and more anxious. These monsters are very cunning and don't engage in a fierce battle with me, but instead harass me with guerrilla tactics. Several gray moth-like demons fly around my head, flapping their wings to create poisonous powder; as soon as I try to swat at them, they slip away nimbly. Just when I'm about to summon the Blowing Wind skill, the wolf, fox, tiger and leopard monsters surrounding me close in again.
I couldn't drag it out any longer, I let out a loud roar, the inner dan in my eyebrows pulsating, as three dragon butterfly claws simultaneously shot out. The red claw spewed fire, burning the white snake demon opposite me to a crisp; the blue claw froze, encasing a wolf spirit in ice; the green claw was like an octopus's eight arms, instantly wrapping around and strangling a sturdy black bear demon to death.
The shape changed, and the monsters appeared in a moment of panic. Gu Li scratched his head, muttering to himself in confusion: "How is it like Long Die's claw?"
Three dragon butterflies danced in the air, I seized the opportunity, my sleeves fluttering as I performed the Feather Path technique and flew into the air. My sharp claws swiftly crushed three large moth demons. Then I rapidly descended, the golden Pulse Slashing Knife flashed by, cutting a fox demon in half at the waist.
A string of killings was like a rabbit rising and a falcon falling, thunder booming and lightning flashing, making the monsters cry out for their fathers and mothers. The situation had completely turned into a one-sided affair, I rose up with divine power, and killed two more monsters, relentlessly pursuing and annihilating the remaining monsters.
"Boom", a yellow flame burst out of the strange hand and shot into the sky, blooming into clusters of fireworks in mid-air. My heart skipped a beat as I knew the other side was probably bringing reinforcements. A moment later, along the mountain path, a cluster of red shadows, like a trail of hot oil igniting rapidly, flew swiftly upwards and landed on the cliff top in an instant.
