Chapter Thirty-Five: The Arrival of Winter Break

  The final exam has arrived as scheduled. Although we are not well-prepared, it is absolutely no problem to reach the passing standard, and we can't fail at least.

  According to the school's regulations, after finishing the last exam, we are officially on winter vacation. The school has also started clearing people out, and during the holidays, unless you have handled the boarding procedures, you are not allowed to stay in school.

  After the exam, Jiang Yun went to the airport and took a plane back to Hunan. Lin Yishui took the train back to Beijing, while Liang Xue chose to go to Harbin for a few days of backpacking first.

  Jiang Xiaoqiao is a local of Changchun, so she just took a taxi and went home.

  Before Jiang Xiaoqiao left, I specifically instructed her and told her that the child must be aborted!

  Since my home is not far from Changchun, it only takes three hours by car, so Fang Wenke chose to drive me back home.

  After finishing the exam, I returned to the dormitory and quickly packed my luggage.

  Half an hour later, Fang Wenke drove to the dormitory building.

  Fang Wenke helped me take down the luggage and put it directly in the trunk.

  After putting away the trunk, I opened the car door and got in.

  But just as I opened the car door, I was stunned. At this moment, Zhao Jun was sitting in the front passenger seat. Was he going to go with us too?

  Fang Wenke stared at me, then hastily said: "Zhao Jun is accompanying me to send you back home. He's worried that driving for over six hours on the way back will be too tiring for me, so he wants to switch shifts with me."

  Zhao Jun looked at me opening the car door and standing there, also saying: "What? You want to be in the co-pilot's position? Let it go for you? Haha!"

  I made a face at Zhao Jun and said: "You sit here! I'll sit in the back, where I can lie down! Hmph!"

  I got on the bus and saw that there were a lot of snacks and drinks on the seats. I opened a bag of potato chips and, while eating, said to Fang Wenke and Zhao Jun: "Are you two planning to go on a picnic or something? You've bought so many snacks! Are you raising pigs?"

  But what made me furious next was that Fang Wenke and Zhao Jun suddenly turned around and said in unison: "En! Feed the pigs!", then they looked at each other, hehe laughed.

  I sat in the back and gave them two electric shots on their heads, hurting them so much that they screamed in pain.

  I casually grabbed their hair and said, "You two are quite tacit! Why don't you just be together? I feel like I'm a light bulb now!"

  Zhao Jun certainly didn't give me face, on the one hand being held by my hair, on the other hand painfully saying: "You finally realized your identity as a light bulb!", while Fang Wenke who was driving couldn't stop laughing loudly.

  After almost two hours, we stopped at a gas station and filled up the car with oil.

  I took advantage of this spare time, pulled out my phone in the car and opened the camera function.

  I aimed the camera at the back of Fang Wenke and Zhao Jun, then loudly shouted "turn around", they both turned their heads.

  I pressed the shutter with a "click" and then said to them: "Okay, you two can turn around and do what you need to do."

  Then I opened Renren on my mobile phone, clicked "Upload Photos", and added a description: "My two big bodyguards!"

  Just five seconds later, my phone had a photo reply message. There were two messages: the first one was from Jiang Yun, who sent an envious expression; and the second one was from Zhu Yang, who commented below that he would also be home in the afternoon.

  Seeing Zhu Yang's comment, my heart tightened a bit, I never thought he could enter my space and leave me a comment.

  I and Zhu Yang's home are in the same small county town, although our homes are not close, but I am really afraid that after returning home, I will occasionally meet him, because I still can't completely let go of him.

  I didn't respond to the comments on the photo, I turned off my phone and Renren, and curled up in the back seat, falling asleep.

  When I woke up again, the car had been driving for three hours and would be home in over ten minutes.

  The driver had also been replaced by Zhao Jun, while Fang Wenke was sleeping soundly beside him.

  After the car entered the county town, I told Zhao Jun to take that road. Ten minutes later, the three of us arrived at the bottom of my building.

  Zhao Jun and Fang Wenke helped me carry my luggage up to the fifth floor. When we reached the door, I took out the key.

  The moment I opened the door, I guessed that my mother must have already prepared a fragrant and delicious meal waiting for me.

  But when I really opened the door, I saw a chaotic living room, clothes and glass shards all over the floor, furniture overturned, everything was in disarray, and my mother was packing her luggage with her hair disheveled.

  Witnessing this scene, I didn't know what had just happened, and Zhao Jun and Fang Wenke were also stunned by everything in front of them.

  I think maybe that person has arrived.
