Chapter 6 Possession
"Su Xiaomei, I've already called the computer company for you and asked them to come over today to take a look at your computer." Anan walked over and comforted me.
Alas, Ah Nan is really a good person.
Looking at colleagues who are still immersed in the dramatic scene just now and laughing with their mouths crooked, I am filled with gratitude to Anan.
Such a good man must have many pursuers. An ordinary girl like me definitely has no chance.
I think with no regret in my heart.
The outside was a hazy day, with a dull gray mist hanging over everything. Although it was an early autumn morning, the sun seemed to be on the verge of entering its tomb, emitting a faint white light that was like the turbid gaze of an old man who had experienced many hardships. The buildings in front were all gloomy and listless under this gaze, as if they were mourning.
I'm even more listless, not just listless, but utterly sorrowful and disheartened.
Misfortune follows me like a shadow, how can I not be sad and disheartened?
"Huh, who are you?" A girl in strange attire suddenly appeared before me. The girl had a shiny nose ring on her nose, skin that was a light wheat color, and wore a long yellow robe, the kind of yellow like the flesh of a peeled cantaloupe. On her head she wore a long white veil, which along with the robe reached down to her ankles, and around her ankle there were also small golden bells.
Her face was sorrowful, and on her childish face there was a gloom that didn't match her age. After hearing my question, she didn't answer, but silently stared at me, her dark brown eyes containing a familiar expression, as if they could see through my heart.
Suddenly, a layer of fog rose around me, faintly black, like water-diluted ink. The fog slowly spread and diffused, like a dense spider web, layer by layer wrapping me up. Fear gradually churned and surged deep within my heart as the fog grew thicker.
Looking into her unfathomable eyes, I felt a chill in my heart.
"Who are you?" My voice trembled slightly in the dark fog.
The girl sneered, and a hint of mockery seemed to flow from her eyes. She slightly parted her lips and said in a voice that was almost a whisper: "What? Don't you even recognize me anymore? I'm you."
"How can you be me?" I exclaimed in surprise, almost jumping up.
A shrill cry echoed through the air, the black fog grew thicker, and the girl slowly turned her body, noiselessly, like a ghost, disappearing into the thick black fog.
"Hey, where are you going? How can it be you? You haven't even answered me yet!" I shouted at her figure, with unspeakable fear in my heart.
"Follow me." The girl turned back, a faint, mischievous smile playing on the corners of her mouth. She raised her hand and beckoned to me lightly, and my body suddenly felt weightless, like mist drifting with the wind, involuntarily floating towards the girl's direction.
When I felt that I could grasp my own body, I found that at some point I had become the girl's appearance. I don't know what kind of magic was cast on me, but although I knew I was Su Xiaomei, I was clearly that girl, and I was possessed!
