Chapter 14: The Intention of Drunken Old Man
"Ah-choo... Ah-choo..." Lin Junyun, lying in bed, suddenly let out a series of loud sneezes. The floor around the foot of the bed was littered with a large number of used tissues. She pulled out a few more from the tissue box on her bedside table and carelessly wiped her bright red nose before tossing them to the ground. Then she began to curse: "Damn Pang Guang, he's the one who got me sick! I'll make him pay for my medicine when I get back."
"Ah-choo......" Pong Guang, who was sitting at his desk in a daze, suddenly let out a muffled sneeze, startling Liu Xiao next to him, who quickly covered his nose and shrank away.
"Liu Meng, how come I haven't seen Lin Junyun?" Pang Guang asked in a low voice, wiping his nose with the back of his hand.
"I heard she's sick." Liu Miao replied in a low voice: "Don't talk, we're having class now, be careful not to get caught and lectured again."
"Oh, you must have caught a chill when I jumped into the lake to save you yesterday. Do you know where she lives? Let's go visit her after school." Pang Guang had a sly smile on his face, thinking that the female scammer was skipping school, but he could still go to her house and drag her out. The drunkard's intention is not in the wine, but because of his love for the beauty!
"Stop talking, let's talk after school." The hooligans saw Pang Guang getting louder and louder, so they looked at the English teacher with a tense face, afraid that she would suddenly explode in anger. Unexpectedly, the English teacher treated them like air that could talk, ignoring them completely.
After school, Pang Guang rode his new motorcycle with Liu Xiaosi, winding through several alleys before hearing Liu say "we're here". After parking the motorcycle, Pang Guang looked around in awe.
Lin Junyun's place was a nameless small alley, the only words that could describe this alley were three: dirty, messy and poor. Above his head, thick and thin electric wires were densely entwined like spider webs everywhere. On the ground, it was uneven with potholes of various sizes all filled with filthy water. Everywhere you looked, there were piles of garbage and leftover food. In a hidden corner, a strong smell of urine wafted out.
Pang Guang pinched his nose tightly and asked Liu Xiang: "Is this a place where people live?"
"Aren't you human, running here and staying like this? You're pulling like a local tyrant." Liu Ming dissatisfiedly glared at Pang Guang: "Don't you want to go up and visit Lin Junyun?"
"Liu Miao, Liu Ge, you misunderstood me, I absolutely didn't mean it that way." Pang Guang hurriedly coaxed him, afraid that Liu Miao would get annoyed and not take him to find the female scammer.
"What's wrong, still not leaving?" Liu said after finishing speaking and leading the way in front. Suddenly his mobile phone rang, so he stopped to answer it. Pang Guang had no choice but to wait patiently beside him.
Liu Miao listened to the phone, occasionally saying "uh-huh... uh-huh...", his face getting increasingly solemn.
Liu hung up the phone and suddenly said to Pang Guang: "She lives in room 503, you go up, I have something urgent at home and need to rush back."
"Go, you can go." Pang Guang waved his hand to let him leave. Since they already knew where the female scammer lived, it didn't matter whether he went or not. Visiting her was just an excuse, and the real purpose was to get back his phone. Liu Xiao, on the other hand, was getting in the way.
Pang Guang easily found the 503 room that Liu Xia said, what made him feel unexpected was that all the other doorways were piled up with garbage emitting a foul smell, but only the doorway of this 503 room was clean and tidy.
After searching for a while without finding the doorbell, Pang Guang slapped the big door with his palm.
After a while, the gate opened and Lin Junyun's pale face with no blood color appeared. She saw that the person who was desperately knocking on her door was Pang Guang, and a hint of surprise flashed across her face, but she quickly regained her composure and smiled faintly as she opened the door to let him in.
"Go sit wherever you can, there are drinks in the fridge. I'm feeling a bit chilly and my head is spinning terribly, so I'll go take a nap. Help yourself." Lin Junyun threw out a sentence before walking into his own room, slamming the door shut with a "bang", and continuing to sleep on his bed, as if this wasn't even his home, but rather a temporary rest stop at a train station. Passengers, the train is late, who knows when it'll arrive? You all just make do and take a break for now.
