Chapter 17: Wisdom Duel

Chapter 1 Section 17 Wisdom Duel

Two people, you look at me, I look at you.Don't know what to say anymore.

"What's wrong? Why aren't you two talking?" Mom looked at the two of them and smiled. The smile made the two people's hearts feel hairy. They didn't know what mom was going to ask next.

"Nothing, nothing." An Zhi hastily explained.

"What's going on? How come you still have that rope? I thought someone came to our house and kidnapped him." Mom said, looking at the two of them.

"No, no. I'm just hungry." said Lu Youyou.

"Are you hungry? If you're hungry, eat a rope!" Mom's face was feigning confusion.

"Not you, who else would eat a rope?" Lu Youyou was amused by her mother's words.

"You can still laugh. You almost scared me to death. Quickly tell me what's going on?" Mom looked at Lu Youyou and laughed along with her.

"Don't worry about this." Lu Youyou looked at her mom and smiled, feeling relieved in her heart. As long as she smiled, things would be easier to handle.

"I don't care who's in charge! What if something really happens that day? Do you know or not?" Mom said, getting a bit agitated.

Nothing will happen. Isn't An Zhi here? Didn't you ask him to come and keep me company?" Lu Youyou said.

"Did I ask him to come and keep you company? No way." Mom said with a puzzled face.

"What's going on?" Lu Youyou turned her head to look at An Zhi.

"What's going on?" An Zhi looked at Lu Youyou and scratched his head.

"Didn't you say it was your mom who told you to come?" said Lu Youyou.

An Zhi was speechless for a moment.

"An Zhi, what's going on?" Mom said with some confusion.

"There's nothing much. Yu called me and said he was hungry, so I came over," An Zhi said.

"Then why did you say it was your mother who told you to come?" Lu Youyou said.

"Is it? When did I let you come?" Mom asked again.

"If I didn't say so, Yu Yu wouldn't have let me come." An Zhi said with a smile.

"But I didn't open the door for you, how did you get in?" Lu Youyou looked at An Zhi with some surprise.

"It's still not you being careless. The door isn't even closed properly." An Zhi looked at Lu Youyou.

"It's really like that. You're already so big and still like this. Whoever marries you in the future will be unlucky." Mom said with a smile.

"If I can't get married, then I'll just stay with you. Otherwise, you won't have anyone to talk to in the future." Lu Youyou said as she pulled her mother to sit beside her.

"Don't say that. I don't want to keep you by my side and have to take care of you. It's not worth it." Mom said with a smile.

"There it is. Am I not a good girl?" Lu Youyou said, leaning on her mother's shoulder.

"It's better for you to get married as soon as possible." Her mother pushed Lu Youyou away.

"Well, I'm off." Yu said, grabbing her clothes and rushing to the door. She waved at An Zhi.

"This girl of yours, really doesn't let people worry." Mom said from behind, watching the two.

"How's it? Still think I'm awesome, right?" Lu Youyou swayed the clothes in her hand.

"Yes, you're great. But when you go home later, let's see what you'll do?" An Zhi thought of his mom's expression earlier and felt a chill in his heart.

"Alright. Let's go find that girl now. It's still early in the morning. She should still be at work."

  Saying.

"Do we have to go? It's already this late. Let's just go home and sleep instead." An Zhi didn't want to go.

"No way. I said I'm going, so I'm going." Lu Youyou hugged An Zhi's arm and wouldn't let go. No matter how An Zhi tried to persuade her, it was no use.

The one who had no choice finally gave up on his own idea. He followed behind Lu Youyou, walking slowly. Lu Youyou kept stopping and turning back to ask An Zhi which way to go. Finally, An Zhi couldn't take it anymore. He walked ahead, pulling Lu Youyou's hand, thinking that the supermarket was just ahead.

The supermarket's lights were still shining brightly. Lu Youyou and An Zhi stood at the entrance, looking at each other. They exchanged a glance. Lu Youyou had a face full of joy, while An Zhi had a face full of helplessness.

Two people pushed open the door and walked in. The girl was still there, and the smile on Lu Youyou's face grew even more.

"Look. It's this one. Is it yours?" Lu Youyou waved the clothes in her hand and put them on the counter.

"This isn't mine. But it looks familiar." The girl said with her head tilted to one side after looking at it for a while.

"Isn't it yours? Isn't it? An Zhi, is it her?" Lu Youyou turned around and asked An Zhi.

"I don't remember clearly what happened that night, it's all a blur." An Zhi muttered.

"You were really out of it that day. And at such a critical moment too. Honestly." Lu Youyou's face was filled with despair.

"This seems to be my sister's." The girl finally said a sentence after looking at it for half a day, and hooked the two people who were about to leave back.

"Is this really your sister's?" Lu Youyou suddenly rushed over, almost knocking over the counter.

"It seems so. I don't know either," said the girl.

"An Zhi, what was that girl's name?" Lu Youyou turned back to ask An Zhi who was still walking slowly over.

"Whatever." An Zhi didn't want to say another word now.

"Ah Xiang? Xiang is my sister's. She was here instead of me yesterday." The girl said as if suddenly enlightened.

"Really? Where is she now?" Lu Youyou asked eagerly.

"Now, of course, you're sleeping at home now? What else can you do, it's almost dawn." the girl said.

"What's your name then?" Lu Youyou asked with a smile.

"My name is Aika," the girl said.

"Then when will your sister come here again?" Lu Youyou asked excitedly.

"Next week then," said Aika. "She has school tomorrow."

"Go to school? Where is it?" An Zhi looked at Lu Youyou's anxious appearance and secretly smiled behind her back.

"It's that high school just nearby. I think it's Jia Ai High School," said Aijia.

"Really. What grade is she in?" Lu Youyou suddenly regained her energy, and An Zhi looked at Lu Youyou's expression, feeling that it was unlikely they would be sleeping tonight.

"High school, though I don't know which one," Aika said.

"It's just like us." Lu Youyou turned her head and looked at An Zhi.

"What's so strange about it? Didn't most people here go to school somewhere?" An Zhi said listlessly.

"That's not it. She was already very good at Jia Ai High School," said Lu Youyou.

"Yes. Those who can get in are the ones who study well. But what about you?" An Zhi finally grasped Lu Youyou's weakness. This was what An Zhi had been counting on.

"Don't mention me." Lu Youyou gave An Zhi a white eye.

"Why can't you just say it?" An Zhi looked at Lu Youyou.

"You say it again," said Lu Youyou and gave An Zhi a slap.

An Zhi really didn't say anything else.

"Alright, let's go back to sleep." Lu Youyou said as she turned around and was about to leave.

"Sorry. I've disturbed you." An Zhi said, grabbing his clothes and hastily chasing after Lu Youyou.

Aika watched the two people's backs and wondered in her heart. She couldn't understand what was wrong with these two guys. It was so late, yet they still came to ask this and that. Truly incomprehensible. Aika shook her head, lowered it, and continued reading the magazine in her hand.
