Chapter 1 Section 14 A Woeful Night

  The moonlight outside the window pours into Lu Youyou's room through the window. The clear and quiet moonlight is reflected in Lu Youyou's eyes, turning into an endless coastline.

  Lyu Youyou turned her head to look at An Zhi, who was lying on the ground. There was no light, but she could still see An Zhi constantly twisting his body. Lyu Youyou pulled her head into the quilt and secretly smiled.

  "What are you doing there?" An Zhi asked Lu Youyou as soon as he heard a sound.

  "What's wrong? Why aren't you sleeping yet?" Lu Youyou poked her head out, trying to hold back a smile as she spoke.

  "Sleep? You come and try. I'll tie you up like this, see if you can sleep." An Zhi was a bit angry, but still suppressed the anger in his heart.

  "It's okay too. Since we can't sleep, let's chat instead. How is it?" said Lu Youyou.

  "What's there to chat about?" An Zhi turned his head towards Lu Youyou.

  "I don't know. Whatever. We'll just talk about whatever comes up." Yu Rou said as she sat up.

  "I'm not interested in anything like that," An Zhi said, turning back around.

  "Are you going to talk or not?" As he spoke, Lu Youyou was already standing beside An Zhi. But An Zhi, wearing an eye mask, couldn't see a thing. With one swift motion, Lu Youyou pinched An Zhi's ear, causing him to jump in surprise.

  "What are you doing? Let go quickly." An Zhi shouted while saying.

  "Shall we chat or just talk?" Lu Youyou still refused to give up this opportunity, wanting to thoroughly scold An Zhi's ear.

  "Alright, alright! Hurry up and say what you want to talk about!" An Zhi couldn't take it anymore. He had no choice but to speak up.

  "I don't know either. Let's just go with the flow, and it'll happen naturally," said Lu Youyou as she sat down beside An Zhi, resting her head on his shoulder.

  "Hey, what's going on?" An Zhi couldn't see but could sense it.

  "It's nothing. If you're sleepy, then just sleep." Lu Youyou said while rubbing her face back and forth.

  "Help me up. I want to sit for a while," An Zhi said, trying to get up cautiously.

  "Don't move, just stay still." But Lu Youyou didn't relax at all.

  "This is so uncomfortable. Hurry up. My arm has gone numb." An Zhi said while making an effort.

  "Alright, I'll help you out since you look so pitiful. But you have to ask me." Lu Youyou said with a sly smile, and then she helped An Zhi sit up.

  "It's okay now, I can say it." An Zhi leaned against the wall.

  "I don't know what to say either." Lu Youyou leaned her head against An Zhi's shoulder.

  "Can't you take off my eye mask too?" An Zhi said.

  "Take it off? No way. Then you'll see me. I won't." Lu Youyou said with a bit of a pout.

  "There's nothing good to look at. It's not like I haven't seen it before." An Zhi said with a smile.

  "Have you seen it? When did you see it?" Lu Youyou suddenly removed An Zhi's eye mask.

  "You..." Lu Youyou almost fainted. Lu Youyou quickly wrapped herself in the quilt.

  "What are you looking at? Keep looking. Look again and I'll throw you out." Lu Youyou said while turning An Zhi's face to the other side.

  "What's wrong with looking? Are you naked or something?" An Zhi didn't turn his head, but his tone was provocative.

  "Put less garlic. I'm not wearing clothes. Be careful, or I'll strip you naked and throw you out on the street. Everyone will see what you look like." Lu Youyou pinched An Zhi's ear.

  "Be gentle! It hurts a lot." An Zhi said while shaking his head.

  "Be gentle, you can remember it. It's really unforgettable." Lu Youyou said.

  "Remember to let go quickly, don't you know?" An Zhi shouted while speaking.

  "I'll spare you because of your sincerity. But don't look at me." Lu Youyou released her hand.

  "Don't look at me. Just bring it over for now. I'll just imagine it." As he spoke, An Zhi closed his eyes and turned his head away.

  "You, you, you." Lu Youyou was so angry that she couldn't say a word. It wasn't until after a while that she reacted: "Fine, just watch. But don't tell anyone."

  Anqi's mouth was wide open. He smiled and opened his eyes, but saw nothing except a pitch-black darkness.

  "Hey, where are you?" An Zhi was a bit anxious: "Where am I?"

  "You're in my closet. Otherwise, I wouldn't be so at ease." Lu Youyou said from outside, her voice full of laughter.

  "No way. I'll suffocate to death. Let me out quickly!" An Zhi started shaking his body back and forth, trying to knock open the wardrobe door, but it was useless.

  An Zhi gazed at Lu Youyou under the moonlight. Gone was the stiff demeanor of daytime, replaced by a hint of coquettishness. The white nightgown fluttered on her body. Her hair had also come undone. Because she was backlit, her face couldn't be seen.

  "You'd better close the door." An Zhi closed his eyes.

  "Why?" Lu Youyou's face was full of puzzlement as she leaned against the wardrobe with one hand.

  "It's scary to look at." An Zhi said and then withdrew his head, no longer looking at her.

  "What did you say?" Lu Youyou flared up upon hearing it and dragged An Zhi out with a stretch of her hand.

  "Easy does it. That way it's more like it." An Zhi lay on the ground, but his mouth was still not idle.

  "What's wrong?" Lu Youyou suddenly came back to life.

  "Like, like, midnight bell." An Zhi said with a smile.

  "Are you tired of living?" Lu Youyou directly turned on the light: "Believe it or not, I'll deal with you right now."

  "It's still more beautiful this way." With the light on, An Zhijie could see clearly.

  "You, you rascal." By the time Lu Youyou came to her senses, it was already too late. The lights were already on, so there was no need to turn them off again.

  "Are you satisfied now?" Lu Youyou sat across from An Zhi, who was sitting on the ground with ropes tied around his body.

  "No! My arm is numb. Let me go quickly." An Zhi said while shaking his body.

  "Think beautifully. Just stay honest." As he said that, he kicked An Zhi with one foot. Although he wasn't wearing shoes, it still hurt quite a bit.

  "Slow down. Be careful or I'll call out loud. It won't be good if others hear that there's a man in your room." An Zhi put on his clothes with an air of "a dead pig isn't afraid of boiling water".

  "It's beautiful what you think." With that, Lu Youyou rushed out.

  An Zhi looked at Lu Youyou with a puzzled expression, and she was afraid to go out again. What else did she want to do? An Zhi's heart began to feel uneasy.   "Now you're scared of me?" Lu Youyou squatted down, looking at An Zhi's painful expression.

  An Zhi nodded. Indicating that he understood.

  "Are you going to call it a day?" asked Lu Youyou.

  An Zhi shook his head.

  Lyu Youyou pulled out the rag from An Zhi's mouth. An Zhi breathed heavily with his mouth open wide. None of them dared to look at Lyu Youyou anymore.

  "What's wrong?" Lu Youyou looked at An Zhi and felt strange.

  "If you put a towel in your mouth and try it." An Zhi kept panting. Still making vomiting gestures nonstop.

  "Okay, I was wrong." Lu Youyou threw the rag aside and looked at An Zhi, with tears welling up in her eyes.

  "What's wrong with you?" An Zhi was startled. He didn't know if he had spoken too loudly.

  "It's nothing. I just thought of you cooking for me and treating me like this. It's really too inhumane." Lu Youyou's tears were about to fall.

  "It's okay, don't cry. I really can't bear seeing you cry. It's okay. I'm not blaming you." An Zhi hastily said.

  "Really? That's great." After finishing speaking, Lu Youyou's expression on her face changed. It changed back to its original state. An Zhi's intestines turned green with regret. Why didn't he persist? Let this guy cry a bit too. He would feel a little better in his heart. Alas, why was he so soft-hearted?

  "There's something I want to ask you carefully." Lu Youyou stuck her face close to An Zhi's.
