Yang Yang lives in a family environment where his parents' emotions are unstable and constantly erupt into domestic wars. He is weak, introverted, and self-abased, eventually becoming "bad" due to his inability to bear it: going to game halls, smoking, stealing, and finally getting caught for stealing money from home.
