Episode 7: Strange Illness from a Trivial Matter
If both parties were honest with each other from the first inquiry, would our later interactions have been any different?
Jing Wei
After Jing Hui left, Ye Hua stepped out of the resting room in the office. Director Sheng had been maintaining a smile, his fingers lightly tapping on the desk: "Teacher Ye, you heard everything, didn't you?"
"What is this survey of cold moon doing?"
The principal thought for a moment, still smiling and said: "Hanyue doesn't care what purpose she came here with, you don't need to worry too much, there are people who are even more unwilling to let her know the truth. Ye teacher, it's better to let the children solve their own problems."
"But...” Yehua shook his head, "No! Given Xiaoxue's personality, she'll feel guilty and have a shadow in her heart if she finds out." He couldn't let his daughter suffer again. After a moment of silence, Yehua raised his head, "You said there are others?"
The principal still smiled and nodded, advising: "Teacher Ye, things that are going to happen will happen sooner or later, can't be avoided. Children's affairs, sometimes it's not good for us adults to intervene."
Ye Hua fell silent after hearing this. Although the dean was right, but... it was he who was useless, letting his daughter lose her mother at a young age, and he couldn't let his daughter suffer such harm again.
Today, there were two elective classes. Han Yue didn't plan to go at first, but thinking that Jing Yue might be going, she couldn't help herself and went again. Han Yue understood that her mindset was wrong, but she couldn't help it - she just wanted to see Jing Yue and feel the same atmosphere as with her brother. Even though afterwards she would feel emptier inside and also guilty.
After two classes, Han Yue and Lai Huo Ling either stared blankly with their heads down or gazed at Jing Rong in a daze. Jing Rong seemed even more out of it during these two classes, his mind wandering more severely than Han Yue's. Lai Huo Ling couldn't help but admit that sitting together was a wrong decision.
Afternoon class was dismissed, and the people in the classroom left quickly. Han Yue looked at Jing Hao who had been dazed for a long time and waved her hand in front of his eyes.
Jing Hui suddenly came back to his senses and grabbed Han Yue's wrist, turning around.
Han Yue was only momentarily surprised and then had no other reaction, just staring steadily at Jing Rong.
Those eyes were very warm, but if you didn't look closely, you wouldn't notice the coldness and vigilance hidden in them. Jing Xiang's heart suddenly ached. Did he have to hide his emotions no matter what happened?
"What are you doing?" Jing Hao looked at Han Yue and directly asked.
"Look like you're asleep." Han Yue's mouth curved into a hint of a smile.
Jing Hao didn't let go, staring into Han Yue's eyes and asking: "What did you turn to Sheng Kai for?"
Han Yue was stunned, all these years of experience in hiding her emotions in front of outsiders were useless in front of Jing Hao. With Jing Hao staring at her like that, it was really hard to say anything deceitful. Han Yue lowered her head and cast down her eyes.
Jing Hao looked at Han Yue's reaction and felt a little excited in his heart. Should he be honest with himself?
"My parents are here, of course I'll come back." Han Yue raised her head and smiled faintly.
These words are false, and Han Yue's smile is also fake. If it weren't for the fact that she resembles Han Yang, Han Yue probably wouldn't have even looked at her. The sister that Han Yang spoke of, the imagined Han Yue, can really no longer be seen? As Han Yue spoke, something in Jing Rong's heart gradually sank, becoming heavier and heavier. Jing Rong suddenly felt afraid, and turned to leave.
He seems to be heartbroken.
Shut up!
Han Yue's emotions were unstable, and she sat down to calm herself. Lai Huo Ling bumped into Han Yue: "Xiao Yue, Jing Huan was very strange just now, inexplicably so." She looked towards the door, "Quickly say, does Jing Huan have a crush on you? Also, I saw that your gaze at him wasn't quite right either, are you two...?"
"Don't gossip." is not right, just don't care about the scenery. Know that something is wrong with yourself, but can't understand what's going on in Jingyue's eyes.
Han Yue prepared to go to the library first and then return to her dormitory, while Lai Huo Ling went to the painting room to find Ye Xue.
Holding a stack of printed materials ready to return to the dormitory, I suddenly felt a sharp pain while walking upstairs.
Yeah, this illness hasn't recurred since high school, so I thought it wouldn't happen again, and there's no medication prepared around me. Han Yue hugged the things in her hand and turned to walk towards the infirmary, planning to get some painkillers first.
Several boys walked towards me and stopped in front of me.
"Ah! Isn't this that reincarnation?"
The boy who was speaking had a yellow explosive head, tattoos on his body, and wore wrist guards. He had a tall, strong and healthy build.
"You're pretty good at bowling, how about a game?"
Someone shouted and the others followed suit.
Han Yue didn't want to provoke them, so she lowered her head and tried to walk past. However, Han Yue forgot that showing weakness often makes the other party think you're easy to bully, and they won't restrain themselves, but instead become more aggressive.
Someone pushed Han Yue to block the cold moon, and the materials in his hand scattered all over the floor. Han Yue also stumbled and almost fell because he was not prepared, but after standing firm, he squatted down to pick up the fallen papers and relieved his stomachache at the same time.
"Hey, what are you going to do? Don't tell me you're going to endure it again?"
Don't cause trouble.
Someone maliciously stepped on the paper that Han Yue was about to pick up: "Hey, you think not speaking will settle it? Weren't you quite arrogant that day?"
Han Yue's eyebrows furrowed, enduring the pain as she lifted her head to look at them. Her forehead was covered in fine beads of cold sweat, her face pale, expressionless, but her eyes were sharp and intimidating.
What a feeling! The people around her hurriedly withdrew their feet and retreated. How could this girl have such an intimidating and frightening gaze? Several people were shocked by Han Yue's gaze, forgetting what they wanted to do or say, and stood still for a moment.
Although it's best to keep emotions hidden, occasionally revealing a hint of intimidating aura is also necessary. The effect of this small move seems to be quite good. Han Yue retracted her gaze, lowered her head and continued picking up the scattered papers. Han Yue hooked up the corner of her mouth, with an inaudible smile that carried a hint of obscure evilness.
"Whatever." A boy muttered under his breath.
The boy who spoke first said reluctantly: "Damn it, can't we handle a girl?"
"Does bullying a girl make you feel accomplished? Get out!" At some point, a young man stood behind them and shouted.
The group of boys turned around, their voices filled with surprise and a hint of fear: "Captain!"
The young man's eyes were slightly cold: "Tomorrow before training, you will be punished with a push-up."
Several people suddenly cried out in dismay: "Captain!"
The young man smiled slightly, with a hint of evil spirit: "Alone."
"Hurry up and go."
"We're so old yet we're being bossed around by a sophomore every day."
"Who made him so fierce, who made you submit to him, forget it, let's go quickly, or else the captain will directly add from one to nine, that would be a disaster."
The group of people left, and Han Yue lowered her head to continue picking up the remaining papers.
Han Yue crouched on the ground, with big drops of sweat falling down. His stomach had always been fine, but this sudden attack was really painful.
Han Yue really didn't understand, in her memory she had always been very regular with her diet since childhood, how could she have such a severe stomach disease. Stomach disease is a small matter but in Han Yue's eyes it was a strange illness.
Is it because the diet before the age of seven was not right? I forgot what happened before I was seven years old, and my brother never mentioned it. I really don't know how to deal with myself before the age of seven, so that I can get rid of this stomach disease that has been lingering for many years.
When she lifted her head again, the young man who had spoken for her was already gone. Looking at the boy's back, Han Yue smiled slightly. Helping someone without saying a word and leaving, not even picking up the remaining papers like others did, what a special person. Listening to those people, this person, as a sophomore, can actually control those tall big boys, looks like a very capable person. Sheng Kaiyuan is indeed not simple, it's a school with hidden dragons and crouching tigers!
The young man who had walked far stopped in his tracks, turned around and looked at the back of Han Yue's departing figure. Interesting, that girl's vague evil spirit when she lowered her head earlier was quite similar to someone else's. Hmm, where did she come from?
Found something interesting, looking forward to seeing you next time. The young man hooked up his lips, and a evil spirit emerged.
