Chapter 22 I Want Them To Get Divorced Again
I didn't want to bother with him anymore and was about to head back to my room when he suddenly grabbed my arm.
I almost shrieked, he hastily covered my mouth with his hands and quickly let go of me, saying: "Calm down! Calm down! Don't be so startled, I just wanted to talk to you."
Just talk about it then.
I adjusted my emotions and sat down in front of him, saying: "If you have farted, let it out quickly."
He said: "Are you saying my mom is crazy?"
It's not like that.
I said,
She loves you, that's why she does it.
"She was influenced by your dad, your dad is an old protein, you are a small protein. She lives with you every day, it's impossible not to be affected."
"Guansha, be a bit more fair in what you say." I couldn't even be bothered to get angry after hearing his words, and let out a sigh saying: "You really are quite stupid."
"I want to leave this family." He said with a serious tone, "It's just a matter of time."
"Are you going to run away from home?" I said, "This set is outdated."
"You're stupid."
He suddenly became very serious.
"What I said about leaving, of course, isn't just me leaving alone. I'm going with my mom, don't you understand?"
"What's wrong with you, Guan Sha?";"I was scared by him."
"My intention is very clear," he said with confidence, "I want them to divorce again."
"You're crazy!"; I stood up and said, "I have nothing to say to a madman!"
"Do you think I won't be able to do it?"; He looked at me, and somehow lit a cigarette again, saying: "How about we make a bet?"
I was so scared that I quickly sat down and lowered my voice, saying: "Guan Sha, I'm warning you, don't be reckless!"
"Haha." He said, "Aren't you afraid of anything?"
"Okay," I said, "I'm afraid you'll cause trouble, and I'm afraid Dad and Tian Ai Auntie will be unhappy."
"There's a way to solve this," he said, "unless you can persuade my mom to change her mind about me transferring schools."
"What are you afraid of?" I stared straight into his eyes.
"What am I afraid of?"; He's being stubborn.
"You're afraid that your own poor grades can't compare to mine! Afraid of losing face at our school! Afraid of being looked down on by others!" I said, hitting the nail on the head and striking a sore spot.
He slapped the small tea table in front of him and said: "You'd better watch out!"
Dad came out of the bathroom and heard the noise on the balcony. He walked over to see us and said, "What are you doing here without reviewing your lessons?"
Guansha quickly hid the cigarette behind his back.
"Nothing," I hastily covered up by saying, "I was chatting with Guan Sha."
"Oh?"; Dad raised his eyebrows and said, "Then let's continue chatting, this old man won't disturb you anymore."
After Dad left, I pointed at the cigarette in his hand and said: "You're still afraid of my dad, otherwise you wouldn't be hiding it, just smoke openly."
"To be honest, I'm afraid of my mom getting unhappy." said Guan Sha, "Actually, in this world, it's just her that I'm afraid of."
"Then listen to Tian Ai's aunt and don't make her sad again. It seems that Guan Sha has not yet reached the point of no return, and my tone also softened."
"How's your class?"; From his tone, he started to give in a bit.
I'm delighted to say: "Not bad at all, you'll know once you've come."
Section 23: No one expects you to like it
"Are you really willing for me to go to your class and study?" He asked distrustfully.
"Anyone is welcome to go with me." I said calmly. "After all, we're classmates, if we get along well, let's talk more, if not, then let's just keep it brief."
"Hmph." He said, "Don't think I'm afraid of you bunch of smart alecks, it's just that I don't like you, you know?"
"No one expects you to like it." "I hit him with 'Don't get too full of yourself.'"
All of you are sharp-tongued and sharp-mouthed, just like you. Alas! He sighed and said, "I'm out of luck." After finishing, he took a deep drag on his cigarette.
"Anything else? If not, I'm going in to read a book."
"I'm not an official, you want to leave then leave, what's the point of reporting to me?" He turned his head away, pretending to look at the stars in the sky. I swung my fist at the back of his head and ran off.
One day when he was not around, Tian Ai aunt quietly asked me: "Has Guan Sha ever talked to you about transferring schools?"
He said a couple of words.
I replied lightly.
He asked how our class was doing.
"That's good," said Tian Ai with a smile, "You'll get to know him better as you spend more time with Guan Sha. He's actually a very diligent and good kid."
"If Guan Sha heard you say this herself, she would be very happy." I said.
Tian Ai's aunt just smiled.
She is really a good mother, loving and caring for her children without any complaints.
A few days later, on a clear morning, when we were having English reading class, Old Liu brought someone into the classroom. He was very tall, holding a basketball and kept his head down without looking at us.
Lao Liu said: "This is our new classmate who has transferred here, his name is Guan Sha, let's give him a warm welcome with applause."
I led the applause.
I didn't expect Old Liu to arrange for Gu Sha and Luo Wei to sit at the same table, and even transferred Zhu Liyong, who used to sit with Luo Wei, to the last row. Zhu Liyong seemed a bit unwilling, but he didn't dare say anything.
Guan Sha forced a smile and then silently sat down beside Lu Wei.
Xia Xiaoyao pointed at me with her finger and exclaimed in a low voice: "Guansha, Guansha!"
It's as if Guan Sha is some kind of big star.
He's indeed Guan Sha, my brother who doesn't share the same father or mother as me. From now on, I'll be in the same class as him, and looking at his aloof attitude towards everyone, I have a bad premonition that our family conflicts might spread to school too.
It's really frustrating!
All troubles caused by Guan Sha
On the first day after class, as soon as I returned home, Tian Ai aunt anxiously pulled me aside and asked: "How was it? How did Guan Sha perform?"
I was stunned for a moment and said: "It's okay."
"What's 'alright'?" Tian Ai's aunt didn't understand.
I have no choice but to tell the truth: "He didn't say a word all day."
"What? Where is he?"
"He's probably playing basketball, he rides his bike faster than me, if he wasn't playing basketball, he should have arrived home by now."
"He doesn't even know how to play any ball games." Tian Ai's aunt said worriedly, "Well, I think you should help him more and let him interact with others more often."
