  Preface

  This story is about Si Luo Chen, Xiang Qian Tong, Wang Shao Ke and Shen Lue's four people. They are women, but they have an unrelenting passion for emotions, pursuing the love they think is right with all their might, no matter how much they have been through, no matter how heartbreaking it has been, even in despair, they never give up.

  Sometimes I wonder what women really want.

  Is it love or a sense of security?

  That persistence is nothing but a desire for a sense of belonging, and what exactly is that sense of belonging?

  Is it a home recognized by others outside, or an ideal home of one's own?

  I'm often very afraid, can I really give these heroines true happiness? Can these hands of mine inject them with the soul of truly living?

  Life is always in a state of flux, with joys and sorrows, loves and hates, gatherings and separations. Since that's the case... how can love be only happy without any pain?

  So I should be a good mother who can give her children a complete and happy family on her own.

  After all, limited youth and limited beauty can only find the direction of "love" with a fragrant heart, right?
