Section 44, Question 2 (Medium)
"Did it work, miss?" Hua Ping asked in surprise.
"Uh-huh." Miss Yin stretched her sore and numb waist and back, tiredly saying: "Tomorrow you'll send this picture to him."
Hua Ping hastily came over and gently patted Miss's back, smiling and saying: "Miss is really amazing, really amazing."
Miss Yin glared at her with a hint of annoyance and chuckled softly, "You silly girl, just the other day you were blaming me for who-knows-what."
"What's so good about it?" Hua Ping smiled and said: "Miss is the best."
"Really?" Miss Yin chuckled: "Those few days, her mouth could hang an oil bottle."
"Just a little resentment." The painted screen faintly emitted the fragrance of lilac, and she made a ghost face.
"But tell me honestly, how is he treating you?" Miss Yin asked softly: "If it's not good, I won't stand for it."
"That's a perfect thousand miles, he doesn't dare to go west." Huaping said with a red face. Boasting is human nature, especially when there are sufficient reasons.
"Is that so." Miss Yin smiled and said: "But you shouldn't restrain him too much either, otherwise he won't amount to anything in the future. It's still you who will suffer."
"Don't listen, don't listen..." Huaping smiled and stopped the young lady from continuing, pulling her arm and saying: "Go to sleep."

The next morning, after serving the young lady with her toilette and breakfast, she hastily slipped out and rushed to the Shen family's mansion. All along the way, she couldn't help but smile triumphantly... It wasn't until she arrived at the back door of the Shen residence that she remembered to maintain her composure. Hua Pingjun took a deep breath, composed herself, and gave a dignified smile as she approached the gate.
"The young lady hasn't been here for a long time."
"It's been a few days since I came, and I've been quite busy lately." He replied while walking into the yard.
Arriving at the Wen Tao Institute, she first glanced inside from outside the Moon Gate Cave and saw that Seventh Young Lady was not in the courtyard. Only then did she quietly enter, tiptoeing upstairs with great care, fearing to startle her.
Having passed the second floor and climbed up to the third floor staircase, Hua Ping's daughter was just about to catch her breath when she heard the door behind her creak open with a groan. Immediately afterwards, that familiar cracked voice rang out: "Hua Ping's daughter has come to find our young master again..."
The seventh girl once again pulled her back, with a grateful face praising the young master for being "kind-hearted", "greatly skilled" and "having a bright future ahead". In between, she repeatedly emphasized the idea that "those who take action first will be strong, while those who act later will suffer". It wasn't until Shen Mo came down after hearing the noise that she finally let her go, still with an unfinished tone. She then asked Shen Mo if he was alright and retreated back into the house with a knowing look.
"Have you had breakfast?" Shen Mo asked vaguely, rubbing his sleepy eyes.
"The sun is almost shining on the west wall," said Hua Ping with a pout: "Should we ask them to have lunch?"
Look up at the sky, and was dazzled by the scorching sun. Shen Mo covered his eyes, chuckled and said: "I slept too late last night." As he spoke, he closed the door with one hand, and chuckled: "It's too messy inside, so I won't invite you in. Let me wash my face, and we can go out for a walk."
He nodded and said, "I'll wait for you outside." Then he quickly slipped away.
Not keeping her waiting for long, Shen Mo finished washing his face, brushing his teeth and dressing up, looking refreshed and spirited as he appeared at the doorway.
Seeing that he wasn't wearing the new clothes, Hua Ping felt a little disappointed and also somewhat relieved... She just didn't want to see Shen Mo dressed neatly, it would make her feel ashamed of herself.
"It's better this way, a poor and shabby young man like him looks comfortable no matter how you look at it." The girl behind the screen thought to herself, but still had to complain, "Why don't you wear new clothes?"
"Who wants to wear tattered clothes?" Shen Mo chuckled and said: "It's just that they need to be washed and changed anyway."
"Oh." The screen girl nodded, and inexplicably said: "Next time I'll bring you a change of clothes..." After finishing speaking, she wanted to slap herself in the mouth, thinking that if he was always so radiant all year round, what would she do?!
"Absolutely not." Shen Mo hastily shook his head and said: "The tailor in the front yard has made two sets for me, they will be delivered soon, any more would be a waste."
"Oh." The screen painter said with a hint of disappointment. For some reason, when she didn't see Shen Mo, she would miss him terribly and think about him all the time, even in her sleep. But once she saw him in person, she felt extremely awkward, unable to relax, and her words became clumsy.
She fell silent, and he didn't know why she suddenly became downcast, but presumably it was because he had said something inappropriate. Feeling apologetic in his heart, he smiled and said: "You gave me clothes, I'll treat you to dinner."
He shook his head, but then thought he hadn't eaten breakfast yet, so changed his mind and said: "Okay."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two people, one in front of the other, arrived on the street. Just around the corner, they saw a long row of small food stalls to their left. Jiangnan is a land of plenty and prosperity, far surpassing other regions, and Shaoxing is one of the wealthiest cities in Jiangnan. Even the small food stalls by the roadside are much cleaner and more elegant than those in other places.
At this time, the sky was not early, but the business of these small stalls was still good. The diners were chatting and eating with a calm expression. Some had finished eating and didn't rush to leave, so they brewed a pot of tea and continued their unfinished conversation.
No one is urging, no one is rushing, people are just leisurely and contentedly.
He patted his pocket and found about a dozen copper coins, smiled somewhat awkwardly and said: "It's a bit early for a big meal now, why don't we go have some snacks instead?"
She nodded and followed him to a secluded spot where they sat down.
As soon as the guests arrived, the daughter of the stall owner, wearing a floral apron, came over with a smile, revealing her white teeth: "Please sit down." Her hands were very quick, flipping over two upside-down tea bowls on the tablecloth with blue and white flowers, first rinsing them with hot water, then skillfully lifting a delicate small copper kettle to pour each of them a bowl of fragrant Ping Shui high mountain tea.
After pouring tea, the girl didn't ask if the guest wanted to eat something, and Fu Yi quietly retreated, but the small copper kettle remained on the table.
Watching her leave, Shen Mo leaned in close to the ear of the painting screen and said with a hint of pride: "This tea is free for you to drink, no need to spend a single coin, let you have your fill... Every time, Shen Jing and I would drink four or five pots."
At first, she was a bit flustered by the warmth in her ears, but after hearing his words, she suddenly hung her head and said, "I don't know you."
"Want something to eat? I'll get some for you?"
The little girl shook her head and said: "I ate a lot this morning, I'll just have some tea."
"Who can bear to watch me eat?" Shen Mo shook his head and said, "Wait for me." He then took out three copper coins, got up and went to the stall owner, and soon came back with three small plates, smiling and saying, "Consider it a small compensation."
The screen only saw a plate of tofu, a few pieces of mint-flavored rice cakes, and dozens of licorice beans in front of her. The faint scent was just the right snack to suit her taste. But she couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness, thinking: 'Who says he doesn't understand his daughter's heart?'
