Chapter 9: Taking Down Three Thugs

  The girl stared foolishly at Xufei, from the moment he sneaked in until he killed Zhu Er, her eyes never left his face. Her bright big eyes shone even more brightly on her tear-stained face as she watched Xufei's actions.

  Just as he was about to untie the rope that bound him, he saw his ear move and gestured to himself, then hid behind the temple door. The girl also heard a loud voice of wine outside the small temple, so she immediately lowered her head and pretended to be asleep.

  Xu Fei quietly hid behind the temple gate, peeking through the gap to see Niu Da and Gou San stumbling towards him, supporting each other and speaking nonsense. As soon as they reached the temple entrance, Niu Da suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs:

  "Pig... Second Brother Pig, the pig's trotters you wanted are here, haha...haha! I don't know what you're thinking, why do you always like to bite your own family members' feet! Quick, come and help me up!"

  Zhu Er had already met King Yan, so he wouldn't make a sound to respond to Niu Da's shout. Niu Da and Gou San looked around crookedly but didn't see Zhu Er come out, so they could only support each other and walk towards the temple gate.
