Chapter 23 The Man in Pigskin
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"What the hell is this thing?"
Looking at this monster staring back at me, I almost spat out a mouthful of blood.
At first glance, this monster seemed like a person; at closer inspection, it seemed more like a pig.
Strictly speaking, this is more like a man wearing pig skin or a pig wearing human skin.
Considering pigs are generally unable to grasp human language, the first conclusion is more likely.
I've seen a sheep in wolf's skin and a wolf in sheep's skin, but I've never met a man in pig's skin before.
Of course, you can also say that this monster is perhaps a hybrid of a pig and a human.
Forgive me for suddenly having such an evil thought. In fact, although science has yet to verify the existence of monsters like the half-beast, books like "Shan Hai Jing" and "Soushen Ji" have recorded numerous examples.
It's not the time to examine whether this monster is a half-beast or not, but rather why it's with me. The place I fell was in the wilderness, but where I woke up was in a mountain cave.
This mountain cave looks a bit old, but on the rocks above, there seem to be some human or animal marks. These marks look like they are no more than two years old.
In other words, this monster should have lived in the cave for no more than two years.
"Looks pretty and charming, but unfortunately is an idiot!"
The monster must have noticed me, so it stood still and stared at the cave, without even blinking its eyes, and thus came to this conclusion in a very rash and abrupt manner.
"You're the idiot, your whole family is idiots!"
When others ask about me out of politeness, I naturally have to ask about their whole family.
"You're right, I'm indeed a fool, and so is my whole family!" The monster said as it plopped down with a thud.
But this monster is so cooperative, it's really beyond one's wildest imagination!
"Why am I in this place?"
After a long silence, I broke the stillness by speaking first.
"It seems you're indeed a fool, and it's only natural that I'm the one who brought you back." The monster replied.
Did you drag me back? No wonder I feel sore all over!
The starlight didn't blind my eyes, and the red makeup didn't poison me to death. But as a result of being dragged by this monster, my skeleton was shattered into pieces, only a hair's breadth away from falling to the ground and dying.
They say cats have nine lives; compared to me, that's nothing.
I think since last year, I've walked to the Ghost Gate many times. Ancestor Yan is not fond of my appearance, so he's sent me back time and again.
This is not the point at this moment, the point is that I slowly raised one hand and gently swung my sleeve.
Take advantage of your aunt's coma to move her jade body, and not treat this jade body with tenderness, this monster is not a monster, then I will make him become a monster.
Looking at the scars on my arm, that monster must have dragged me through a vast expanse of thorns when it was pulling me, leaving blood-red memories on my snowy white jade arm.
The monster on the ground kicked a few times, seeing that he was sleeping sweetly, and walked to his side, using his hand to pull the fur on his body.
The sky is vast and wide, the fields are endless, what kind of fate am I in?
