Chapter Fifty-Three: The Stolen Book's Contents
Jiang Feng immediately told Peng Tianyang about the events that had occurred over the past few days. When Peng heard that the people of Huoziying had left, he repeatedly sighed in grief. But when he heard that Jiang Feng and the remaining members of Huoziying had sworn a blood oath together, his face lit up with joy.
Peng Tianrui said to Jiang Yunshui, "As for the person you mentioned, it's better not to offend him when he hasn't yet stood firm. As for Qian Chenglin, he is indeed a loyal and dedicated person to Cha Erge, but as for his attitude towards you, I find it hard to judge. As for the others, with me around, they wouldn't dare be too arrogant."
Jiang Fengnian said: "With Tianying Liu Shu around, I feel more at ease in my heart."
Then, Jiang Yingshui took out the "Zi Xu Dao Shu" and the golden silk pad, and put them in front of Peng Tianyang. When Peng Tianyang saw the "Zi Xu Dao Shu", his eyes suddenly welled up with hot tears. This time, in order to get this thing, it really made the already declining Huoziying even more severely injured.
Jiang Fengshui said: "Tian Yang Liu Shu, these two things were handed over to me by Cha Er Shu."
Peng Tianrui stroked "Zi Xu's Stolen Book" and said, "Put this thing away properly. From now on, you'll follow me to learn my feng shui skills, and I'll also teach you the methods of stealing and fighting."
As soon as Peng Tianyang mentioned the art of Feng Shui, Jiang Yunshui thought of Jin Duzi's last words and told them to Peng Tianyang.
Peng Tianyong's eyes welled up with tears as he said, "He only acknowledged himself as a fellow disciple when he was about to die? If you have the ability in the future, help Jin Douzi retrieve the Jie Long ruler."
Jiang Yunshui wondered: "Tian Yang Liu Shu, could it be that Du Zhong, who stole the Golden Helmet and the Intercepting Dragon Ruler, is still alive?"
Peng Tianyong thought for a moment before saying, "Since Jin Dui Zi said that, I think he must have his reasons. And if my guess is correct, the dragon ruler must contain the lower part of 'Men Jia Shu'. Although the content is too radical, but if we can gather all of 'Men Jia Shu', it will be good for your future feng shui path."
It wasn't until now that Jiang Meng understood why Jin Dunzi had entrusted him with retrieving the dragon ruler before he died. It turned out that the lower part of the "Men Jia Technique" was actually hidden inside the dragon ruler!
Jiang Fengshui solemnly replied, "Don't worry, Sixth Uncle Tian. If Du Zhong is really alive, I will definitely retrieve the Juedragon Ruler and reunite the 'Menjia Techniques'."
Peng Tianyang nodded with satisfaction: "Good child, you have this kind of heart and intention. Sixth Uncle is already very satisfied."
Jiang Yunshui saw that Peng Tianyong was obviously tired and said, "Uncle Tianyong, I'll leave first, you rest well."
Jiang Mengshui had already gotten up, and Peng Tianyao was indeed feeling a bit tired. Yu Shui said: "Then remember to come here every day, I'll start teaching you the basic content of 'Men Jia Technique', and what's recorded in this 'Zi Xu Thief Book', you must study it well."
Peng Tianyong meant that Jiang Yunshui should pick up the two things he had put down, and in the end, Jiang Yunshui could only put away "Zi Xu's Stolen Book" and the golden silk pad again.
After leaving the house, Jiang Yunshui let out a long sigh. Now he finally understood what his mother had said back then: "With great power comes great responsibility." As the leader of Huoziying, the burden on him was not light at all.
Jiang Yunshui returned to his own house, opened the "Zi Xu Dao Shu", and began to read its contents. Although he didn't understand the part about grave burial, he could recognize the characters inside.
This "Zi Xu Dao Shu" is divided into three volumes and nine chapters. The first volume talks about the "burial method", the second volume mainly discusses the "mechanism", and the third volume contains the most mysterious "burial technique". All the methods mentioned are strange and bizarre, but for tomb raiders, they are extremely vicious defensive techniques.
Jiang Fengji was now reading the first volume of "Burial Plot" which recorded the burial site layout mainly based on the "Five Elements and Yin-Yang" with the assistance of "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter".
It is said that in a certain place, there is a very mysterious burial site. This burial site has both yin and yang, with the flow of wind and water secretly giving rise to the image of dragons and tigers. It also has an underground dragon vein, making it an excellent burial site for "ascension to immortality".
Moreover, what was said was accompanied by a very vivid picture, and Jiang Yunshui looked at the picture on it, feeling somewhat familiar.
Because he had seen the map of the Qing dynasty's territory at a private school teacher's place, and now the place he was looking at was very similar to the content on the map in "Zi Xu's Stolen Book".
Jiang Fengshui also remembered that the private school teacher had mentioned some famous places, and if he said that a place with dragon and tiger feng shui should be the famous Dragon Tiger Mountain.
This made Jiang Yunshui suddenly feel that there was some meaning to it, and unexpectedly, he had guessed something, and began to believe that what was said in "Zi Xu's Stolen Book" was not used to deceive people, but indeed had some basis.
Later, Jiang Yunshui looked down and mentioned that this place has a bright and elegant mountain, with an extraordinary creation, where ordinary people live longer and longer, and can be used to practice the Huang-Lao technique. Those who cultivate the Tao can attain the Tao here.
In Jiang's opinion, this content is actually somewhat exaggerated. Although the Dragon Tiger Mountain is indeed a sacred place of Taoism, no one has ever heard of anyone truly achieving immortality through Taoist practices.
Of course, there are descriptions of this burial ground, but Jiang Yunshui is already somewhat baffled by them - these stars are for those who are well-versed in the art of geomancy to see.
Then, Jiang Fengnian turned to the "Mechanism" chapter again, which mentioned a mechanism called "Nine Sulfur Heaven Yellow Crossbow". This mechanism ranks 13th among the tomb mechanisms.
It is described that once triggered, it will spew out sulfur from both top and bottom, which can directly trap people entering the tomb. At this time, nine giant crossbows will come back to pierce and sweep horizontally, piercing everyone who enters the tomb to death.
This is also equipped with a diagram, and compared to "葬局", it is much more detailed. Even the operating method of this mechanism is drawn in detail on the diagram, and various prompts are marked.
But for Jiang Yunshui who didn't understand the mechanism, this thing wasn't of much use either. If it could be shown to Qian Chenglin, he would probably treasure it greatly.
After turning over a few more pages, Jiang Yunshui saw the "burial technique" again. Among them, what attracted Jiang Yunshui the most was the third one, called "Digging through walls".
It is said that those who enter the tomb will be cursed at the same time, and then they will walk to the wall of the tomb one by one. No matter how others use the tools they bring to pierce their bodies a little bit, they will die. However, the person being pierced does not feel any pain, and before dying, he still retains a smile.
Jiang Yunshui felt a chill run down his spine as he read the content, but fortunately, he had encountered many strange things on Emperor Crown Mountain, otherwise he wouldn't have believed what was written here.
Jiang Fengshui turned a few more pages and saw another "burial method" that caught his eye, which described: In the tomb, the owner would let a family member enter the tomb before their own death, then use a special method to starve them to death, until 49 days later, when they would be killed in front of the coffin, and the blood of the person being killed would flow all over the surface of the coffin.
In this way, the person who was killed would forever guard the coffin. If a grave robber were to enter and open the coffin, they would be killed by this "evil spirit". Moreover, they would die from having their tendons and bones ripped out, and finally, they would even be swallowed alive by this "evil spirit".
Jiang Feng saw the pattern on the quilt, in which a ferocious ghost emerged from a coffin and tore to pieces the people nearby. Then, the ghost devoured all the torn bodies one by one.
That scene, even if it was just a drawing on paper, made Jiang Yunshui feel extremely uncomfortable in his heart. He could sense that the person who drew this picture was absolutely not simple and must have witnessed this scene before, otherwise he wouldn't be able to draw it so vividly.
Just as Jiang Feng was completely absorbed in the scene, the black dog tied outside suddenly let out a loud bark, and judging from its tone, it seemed to be extremely angry.
Jiang Fengshui hastily put away the things and walked out, only to see Hei Pi using his mouth to fiercely bite a bundle of cloth wrapped around something.
