Chapter 3: Lin's Dream

  Dream of the Forest

  When a person is in a dream, you won't remember when and why you came, you will only inexplicably appear in a familiar scene, reliving or creating some stories.

  This is Yu Chen's third dream. The location was in the maple forest, which was ambiguously referred to as "Lover's Forest" by the university students. Although it wasn't late autumn yet, the maple leaves were already a deep purple color, making them look even more eerie in the dark night.   A branch pierced her chest, and the fresh blood gushing out enveloped the night.

  Ge Tianyu was shocked when she saw Yu Chen again. She had only gone to attend a piano training session for a few days without seeing him, but Yu Chen's haggardness and weakness made her lose color in shock.

  "How did you lose so much weight, is something wrong at home?" Ge Tianyu of course wouldn't be self-absorbed enough to think that the usually carefree Yu Chen would "waste away for love", so he immediately thought of whether Yu Chen's father had gone bankrupt.

His chaotic thoughts made him feel like the people around him were always staring at him with hostile eyes, and the streets were filled with spinning coins and tops.

  "Another big shot has died." He lowered his eyes, and the dark circles under them seemed to be heavily mascaraed.

  "Oh, I already knew. A classmate called to tell me." Ge Tianyu didn't have much of a reaction and replied calmly. "It's the ballet troupe from another school. Y University has had many deaths over the years, it's not a big deal."

  Yu Chen didn't say anything else. Those who do many unjust things will ultimately destroy themselves, he had always despised this kind of talk, because up until now he was still living well.
