Chapter Twenty I'm Just a Psychopath
That round mirror suddenly appeared on the taxi.
The round mirror appeared very suddenly, I felt a weight on my leg, and then saw that the mirror was pressing down on my leg.
I was so scared that I lost my soul, and I quickly asked the driver to stop the car and asked if I had brought this mirror when I got on the bus.
The driver's answer made me shudder, and I actually got on the bus carrying a mirror.
How is this possible? Unless the taxi driver was lying?
The sudden appearance of this round mirror left me at a loss, although I didn't know why the mirror would suddenly appear in the taxi, but I still got off in front of the driver and threw it to the side of the road.
The taxi continued to move forward, and before long, I was horrified to find that the mirror had returned to the car and was pressed between my legs.
I screamed in terror, "Mirror! Look, the mirror has appeared again!"
The driver was forced to stop the car, turned around and yelled in great annoyance, "Are you sick or something? Can't you just leave it alone if you don't want it?"
"What did I pick up? How is that possible!" I firmly denied it. I couldn't have picked up this mirror.
The driver must be telling lies!
"Stop! Stop!" At my loud shout, the driver stopped the taxi again.
This time, I threw that mirror in front of the car and laid it flat on the front of the car, so the car would crush it into pieces.
After doing all this, I let out a sigh of relief and got back into the car, ready to wait for the taxi to start moving and shatter that round mirror.
After the taxi drove away, I was astonished to find that although the thick tires of the car were heavily pressed on the mirror, the round mirror did not make any shattering sound.
I looked back through the car window, and the mirror was still lying there intact.
Before long, the round mirror had returned to between my legs, but the taxi driver seemed completely oblivious.
At this moment, I almost collapsed!
What kind of magic power does this mirror have? How can it not be shaken off? A mirror that even a car can't crush, surely even an idiot would know, this is absolutely impossible to be a mirror!
At least it won't be an ordinary mirror.
I couldn't get rid of it and could only let it follow me like this, leaving it in that taxi.
The taxi driver didn't take me to Bin City but instead stopped in front of a mental hospital in this city.
"I'm going crazy!" I howled, "I'm not sick, I'm not sick, let me go!"
I was met with icy stares from everyone.
Everyone shook their heads and sighed, "Looks like he's seriously ill, seriously ill!"
I poured out a series of unbelievable things without reservation, but no one would believe what I said. Although I spoke very seriously and affirmatively, everyone ridiculed me, and in the end, I had to shut my mouth.
Suppose what I've been through recently was indeed three years ago, then why didn't my friends around me and my parents back home report to the police and look for me? How could it be like now where no one cares about my life or death?
From this point alone, I can be certain that I am actually living in reality, not just memories!
If what I experienced was really three years ago, then there is only one truth: I suffered amnesia and lost all memories of the past three years!
What exactly happened in these three years? Why did I lose my memory, and what's with that mirror? Who is the mysterious person who sent me a text message?
The fact is right in front of me, and I have no choice but to believe it. That round mirror is like a haunted house that can't be shaken off, and it's impossible to get rid of it!
But what exactly happened during those three years, and what I did, is something I urgently want to know. Also, who was that mysterious person who sent me a text message, and what kind of place is Bin Cheng Road, Halfway Street No. 9, has become an unsolved mystery in my heart!
There are still many doubts in my mind. However, it's no longer important how things really were. What I need to solve now is how to get rid of that damn mirror!
I trembled slightly as I touched the mirror in the sickroom with my hand, especially the crack on the mirror, which made me frightened.
The phone's text message alert suddenly rang out, I opened it to take a look, and surprisingly, it was another message from "me", "You've survived, but you need to find a way to escape the psychiatric hospital and head to Bincheng Half Street No. 9, where everything you want to know is."
My heart began to pound wildly, suddenly becoming extremely violent, rushing to the railing surrounded by iron railings, shouting hoarsely, "I'm not sick, I'm not sick, let me go, let me go!"
My roar soon attracted the attention of doctors from the psychiatric hospital, who stood far away, "Number thirty-three, please calm down, please calm down! We are studying your condition and will find out the cause soon, don't worry, don't worry..."
"You're the one who's sick, I'm not sick!"
My cries did not arouse the sympathy of those doctors, they all shook their heads and sighed, saying that I was seriously ill. And soon two burly men came in, forcibly pressed me to the bed, and injected a large amount of tranquilizer into me, only then did I calm down.
After repeating this process several times, I no longer dared to shout or yell. Because every time I shouted loudly, a large amount of tranquilizer was injected into me, and the dose increased each time, so that when I saw that huge syringe, I felt an inexplicable fear.
If this continues, I think even if I'm not sick, these people will drive me mad.
I no longer dare to resist, and honestly come down, but the thing that has been weighing on my mind is like a maggot in my heel, constantly tormenting me.
What kind of place is Bincheng Half Edge Street No. 9? Is that mysterious person really there? But if I can't leave here, then the truth and answers may never be found.
Time has passed in the blink of an eye, half a month has gone by. Every day I mechanically repeat three things: eating, spacing out, and sleeping. However, it's good that I've distanced myself from death and those eerie things.
What happened half a month ago was like a nightmare, constantly reminding me that it wasn't just a dream is this circular mirror with a crack on it quietly placed in the hospital room.
This afternoon, after lunch, I was lying on the bed in a daze, when I suddenly heard two voices outside, and they were getting closer and closer.
"How is patient number thirty-three doing now?" a familiar male voice asked.
"He's always been in that state, what surprises me is that this is the first time someone has come to visit him since he was hospitalized. I thought he had no friends or family."
Who is it? Who has come to see me? I sprang up from bed with a "thud".
"We've arrived, this is ward 33. No one has ever come to visit him before, I really think he's pitiful. If you're truly his friend, you can come and see him more often in the future, it might be of some help to him."
"Uh-huh." I see.
As he spoke, the hospital room door opened and the voice sounded again, "However, you have to be careful, his mood has been unstable since admission, remember not to cross the railing. There are surveillance cameras here, so don't do anything illegal."
"Uh-huh, okay." As soon as the words fell, I heard the sound of footsteps leaving, and immediately, a familiar face appeared in my line of sight.
The man across the railing looked at me and his Adam's apple moved up and down as he asked, "Hello, are you Lan Tian?"
This man is actually Lin Jie, what's his purpose of coming to find me? Won't he bring another disaster to me again?
"Who are you?" I bellowed in feigned annoyance, "Scram, get away from me!"
"My name is Lin Jie!" Lin Jie said, a hint of fear appearing on his face, clearly showing that he was somewhat afraid I would harm him.
I sat up and looked at Lin Jie with a scrutinizing gaze, still shouting, "I don't know you, get out of here!"
Lin Jie didn't say a word, his eyes fixed tightly on me, and asked, "I know you... you know Lin Meixin?"
As soon as he spoke, my spirit collapsed instantly, and the disguised expression could no longer be pretended. I replied hastily, "Yes, I know her, what's wrong?"
Lin Jie didn't answer me directly, but instead said in a low and mysterious tone, "I was her boyfriend during university... This matter has left me speechless. I originally thought everything had already ended, but unexpectedly she still found me and attached herself to my body..."
Is Lin Mei's soul attached to his body? I was so shocked that I almost jumped up!
Was he telling the truth or lying? I stared at him, pacing back and forth in the small hospital room, finally stopping by the iron railing and saying, "Nonsense! Are you kidding me?"
"No, I'm telling you the truth, I swear, it's really quite strange, most people wouldn't believe it."
Looking at his anxious expression, I smiled and said, "However, I'm not an ordinary person. Only someone like me with a mental illness would believe your words. Unfortunately, although I have a mental illness, I'm not stupid. Can you prove it to me?"
"What's going on?" Lin Jie asked in confusion.
"Give me proof that she's really attached to you!"
"How is this proven? Every time she wants to appear, she appears, but when I look for her, she never listens."
"So you can't prove anything? Then I don't have anything to talk to you about either."
"Stop!" Lin Jie stood up, "I know all of you who attended that class reunion are dead, and now only you're left alive. I want to know how you survived? Help me, let her ghost leave my body?"
It turned out to be a man who came to me for help! Coward!
I sneered inwardly and replied indifferently, "Sorry, I really can't help you with this. I'm just a mentally ill patient!" Soul forbidden
