Chapter 56: Dogs and Neurosis

  Chapter Fifty-six: Dogs and Neurosis

Su said, "I'll go buy it! You wait!" and left. Su Yin stared at the long queue, feeling very puzzled. After a while, Su came back with the ice cream, and Su Yin took it from her, licking it happily. Seeing Su Yin licking it like a little dog, Su hesitated for a moment before taking a small lick herself, her expression as if she had eaten poison. Su Yin secretly laughed, but then saw a hand reach out beside her, gently wiping the corner of her mouth before pulling back.

Su Yun stared blankly at the owner of the hand, smiling and sucking on his finger. Suddenly, her chin dropped to the ground, Su Yun felt very weak! Taking a deep breath, Su Yun turned her head, her mouth saying: "Su Cong, are you crazy?! You..."

The sound stopped abruptly because someone suddenly approached too close, startling her. Her chin was pinched shut, and Su From was almost nose to nose with her! Su Yin was frightened silly, but saw that Su From just maintained his posture, neither advancing nor retreating.

Su Yun saw the thick teasing in his eyes, and felt that she had been played with. A surge of anger rose to her head, and with a "slap", the ice cream in her hand landed on his forehead. Su Cong was stunned for a moment, then became furious, pushed Su Yun away, got the ice cream off, and shouted: "What are you doing?" Su Yun calmly pulled at her skirt and replied: "What do you want to do?"

Su Cong glared at her angrily, and she responded haughtily, "What's wrong? He was the one who was rude first!" Su Cong looked around, then suddenly stood up, grabbed her, and dragged her into the crowd. Su Yin stumbled and desperately tried to pull back, asking, "What are you doing?"

Su turned around and glared at her, saying irritably: "What can I do to you here? Go sit on the Ferris wheel!" Su Yin was taken aback, sitting on the Ferris wheel, that's a great feeling! She stopped struggling and followed Su Cong's footsteps. Su Cong saw that she had stopped struggling and also slowed down his pace, gently holding her hand. Su Yin felt uncomfortable all over and wanted to pull her hand back, but Su Cong held it tightly and whispered in her ear: "Don't forget, you're my girlfriend now! Couples have to hold hands, got it?"

Su Yun was not pleased, but she endured it and let him lead her, treating it as if she were walking a dog. After waiting for over 10 minutes, it was their turn to ride the Ferris wheel. Apart from the fact that they weren't suited for each other, Su Yun was quite satisfied with everything else. The Ferris wheel wasn't bad either - the view from high up was magnificent and beautiful. As the carriage slowly rose upwards, Su Yun leaned against the window to look down, watching as people became smaller and clouds drew near. After getting on, Su sat at one side, gazing out into the distance, ignoring Su Yun.

She didn't want to, but had just reached the middle seat when Su Cong shouted at her: "Hey, Su Yin, come here!" As he spoke, he patted the empty space beside him. Su Yin rolled her eyes and ignored him. Su Cong let out a soft "tsk" sound, suddenly stood up, sat down beside Su Yin, then yanked on her arm, causing Su Yin's body to tilt before she was pulled into Su Cong's embrace.

The current posture is that Su Yin is nestled in Su Cong's arms, her head resting on his shoulder, while Su Cong has one arm around her and the other gently stroking the back of her neck. Su Yin presses against Su Cong's chest, wanting to get up or push him away. However, the person seems as rigid as an iron rod, unable to budge or move.

The two of them were exerting themselves to the utmost, each trying to outdo the other. To outsiders, it seemed like a harmonious and beautiful scene, but in reality, it was brutal and bloody. They both strained with effort, their veins bulging, unable to budge each other. Su Yin pinched him with all her might, and Su Cong was pinched until he felt pain, but his face didn't change color. He wrapped his hand around hers, exerting himself to the utmost, squeezing until the bones cracked and crackled. She pinched hard, and he squeezed hard in return.

Su Yin was in pain, gritting her teeth and pursing her lips. Su Cong immediately pressed her face against his neck, not letting her move. Su Yin coldly laughed: "Su Cong, what are you doing? Are you acting? Let me go!" Su Cong's expression was gentle, with a soft smile that could be described as warm and affectionate, but his words were biting: "You'd better behave! Don't forget, we're a couple now!"

"Screw you! What kind of couple are you, forcing others to be your partner? Get your hands off me! Otherwise, don't blame me for being rude to you!"

Su Cong didn't let go, instead he held her even tighter, his eyes filled with emotions, slowly lowering his head, gently kissing the side of hers, and then staying there for a long time without moving. Su Yin's hair stood on end instantly, she gripped tightly with all her might, unsatisfied, opened her mouth and bit down hard on the corner of his mouth.

Before long, there was a bloody taste in her mouth, and she must have bitten through! Su Cong let out a muffled hum, still expressionless, but the veins on his forehead were throbbing violently as he struggled to endure. Su Cong pressed against her ear, threatening: "Let go!" Su Yin shook her head vaguely, replying: "You let go first!" The two of them remained locked in a stalemate.

Finally, the carriage stopped, and the two of them quickly let go of each other, each retreating to a corner, glaring at each other, panting. Su covered his neck, took a look, and saw blood! He couldn't help but shout: "Ji Suyin! Are you a dog or something? You actually bit me!"

Su Yin smiled coldly and retorted, "I think you're from a mental hospital, you're mentally ill!" She stood up and was about to leave when Su Cong hurriedly shouted, "You haven't answered me yet! This isn't over yet!" Su Yin had originally wanted to just walk away and not bother with all this. But thinking better of it, she turned back around, glaring furiously at Su Cong. Seeing her turn back, Su Cong couldn't help but reveal a triumphant smile, and snickered.

They came out again, and the two left the amusement park. Su Zong proposed going to watch a movie. Su Yin was noncommittal, just passing time anyway! Watching a movie wasn't excessive, so Su Yin didn't object, and they set off. When they arrived at the cinema, they found that the next showing was actually "Curse".

Su Cong stared at the notice board for a long time without blinking, Su Yin waited impatiently and urged: "Are you looking or not? If not, let's go!" Su Cong smiled and patted her head, like teasing a little dog, but his smile was a bit stiff. Su Yin hurriedly pushed away his big hand and didn't notice.

The movie is about to start, Su Cong is getting restless again, and tells her that she wants to go to the bathroom. Su Yin waves her hand, letting him do as he pleases. Until the last few minutes, Su Cong finally comes out, and is pulled into the theater by Su Yin. If it's any later, they won't be able to get in! Places like movie theaters are somewhere Su Yin has never liked. Every time she goes to a place like this, she always feels slightly uncomfortable, so she rarely goes. This time someone is following her, and she also has an amulet, so she isn't too worried.

Halfway through, Su Yun felt bored and saw Su Cong sitting upright, motionless, with the screen's light shining on his face, pale and gloomy. Su Yun's heart skipped a beat, and she stopped looking at the screen to look at Su Cong instead. Probably around the middle of the movie, a girl had her lower jaw ripped off, her tongue sticking out, covered in blood.

Suddenly, the audience burst into screams, Su Cong jumped up, his face pale with fear, his eyes wide open and unblinking. Su Yin was suddenly choked with laughter, so for the entire second half, Su Yin appeared to be watching the screen, but in fact, he was sneaking glances at Su Cong, who was frightened out of his wits, which was very amusing!

The scene dispersed, Su Yin got up dazedly, and Su Cong followed suit. After they came out, Su Cong took a deep breath, and seeing him like this, Su Yin couldn't hold it in anymore and burst into laughter, laughing so hard that tears streamed down her face. Su Cong was very annoyed, but he had no choice and could only walk away.

Su Yin laughed enough and asked, "Why are you still afraid of horror movies?" Su replied with a bad temper, "Why aren't you afraid?" Su Yin shrugged, "I watched this movie when I was 10 years old!" And, I've seen real things that are much more terrifying than this! The second half of the sentence, Su Yin didn't say out loud, only muttering to herself in her heart.

Suddenly, Su Yun discovered that she was actually quite brave! Su stared at her with a strange gaze and said: "You're the one who's abnormal! What kind of girl are you?" Su Yun smiled mischievously: "Oh, I'm really sorry about that! I couldn't do something so pretentious! Ruining your ideal is my fault! But you're really weird, if you don't like looking at me, why keep staring without blinking!"

Su lowered his head, muttering to himself: "I'm too tired to even blink, what do I know!" He glanced at the time and saw it was past five. Su Yin turned her head to look at Su Cong and said with a pout: "Hey, I still have things to do, can we go now?"

Su Cong raised her head and replied, "You promised me half a day! It's only been a few hours?" Su Yin was impatient, as it was almost time for her to go grab food and add training, she couldn't continue to fool around with Su Cong like this. She thought of a compromise: "How about we find another time? Divide the half-day into two times, that should be enough, right?" Su Cong was originally unwilling, but after thinking about it, a flash of inspiration struck him, and he nodded in agreement. However, that smile on his face looked cheap no matter how you looked at it: "Alright, next week I have to attend a birthday party, will you be my date?" Su Yin thought for a moment, and didn't see anything wrong with it, so she nodded in agreement.
