Chapter 11: Sister, help me

  Chapter Eleven: Sister, Help Me

Ji Su-yin was momentarily stunned, maintaining her posture, at a loss for what to do. She couldn't help but glance up and saw Qi Xiu standing in the middle of the mall, staring at her with an expressionless face. Ji Su-yin's eyes widened instantly as she saw Qi Xiu take a step towards her, getting closer and closer, still about five meters away. Her head and eyes suddenly felt a slight ache.

Ji Su-yin quickly pulled up her zipper, grabbed Huang Xiao-yu's hand and ran out of the store in the opposite direction of Qi Xiu. Only after pulling Huang Xiao-yu out of the mall did Ji Su-yin stop to catch her breath. Huang Xiao-yu was panting heavily when she suddenly burst into laughter, laughing more and more exaggeratedly. Ji Su-yin felt like her face was on fire, covering Huang Xiao-yu's mouth and pinching her hard.

Huang Xiaoyu struggled out, laughing hysterically: "Hahaha ~ hahaha ~ ha ~ ah! Oh my god! You're going to kill me with laughter! Ji Suyin! How can you be so ridiculous! Ahahahaha~ I'm done for! Just thinking about it makes me want to laugh! Hahaha ~" Huang Xiaoyu rubbed her belly, wiping away tears of laughter.

Ji Su looked at Huang Xiaoyu helplessly, holding her breath as she peeked into the market. Huang Xiaoyu thought Ji Su was angry with her and quickly suppressed her smile, saying: "Hey! Su, don't worry, I won't tell anyone else!"

Ji Su shook his hand hastily and said, "It's getting late, let's go back to the dorm! Let's go!" On the way, Huang Xiaoyu was still savoring the moment, stifling a laugh. Ji Su pinched and rubbed him, constantly threatening him.

Qizhao stood at the entrance of the mall, gazing out at the two figures disappearing into the distance. He had just confirmed that the strange feeling was indeed caused by Ji Su, but he wasn't sure why. Pulling down his baseball cap, Qizhao put his hands in his pockets and walked away.

Ji Su was so annoyed to death all the way! How did she run into Qi Xiurong again? She even suspected that she had been possessed by a jinx lately, and wondered if she should find a temple or something over the weekend to ask for an amulet, but didn't know if it would work.

At night, just before lights out, Ji Suoyun sat on the edge of the bed, holding onto the quilt and staring blankly. Yan Fen'er saw her like this, so she pulled out her luggage bag, rummaged inside, and took out a bottle of medicine. She opened it, poured out two pills, walked to Ji Suoyun who was yawning, held out her hand and handed them over. Ji Suoyun covered her mouth and asked: "What's this?" Yan Fen'er blinked her eyes and replied softly: "Sleeping pills."

Ji Su-yin immediately took over, gratefully shouting: "Benefactor!" Yan Fen-er also helped to hand a cup of water to Ji Su-yin, watching her drink it down before going back to sleep.

I don't know if it's psychological or not, but when Ji Suyan lay back down on the bed, she felt her whole body soft and warm, so comfortable that it was deadly. Under the influence of a pleasant mood, Ji Suyan relaxed and fell asleep in less than a minute, her breathing slow and steady.

When she saw the white fog swirling in front of her eyes again, Ji Su's mood was extremely depressed. How come even taking sleeping pills didn't work?! She simply sat on the ground motionless, too lazy to move anymore. In her dream, she had no sleepiness, so she propped up her chin and started daydreaming. Who knows what that little ghost wanted her to see today? The next plot, she could guess roughly, the little ghost's parents must have divorced, and the little ghost died an untimely death due to an accident! However, why did this little ghost refuse to leave, always entangling itself with her?! It was really strange!

I don't know if that little ghost will take her life and make her a substitute after she finishes watching the whole drama. Qiu Su thought boringly, but for some reason, Qiu Su felt that this little ghost actually didn't have any malice towards her, it just made her watch his past every night, although this also had a great impact on her daily life! She was always sleep-deprived and got more tired the more she slept.

Suddenly, a white mist surged in front of her eyes. Qisu Yin raised her head to look around and found that she hadn't appeared in front of the carved wooden door this time, but had directly appeared in a corridor. There were many people in the corridor, each with an abnormal expression, wearing loose patient clothes. Was this... a mental hospital?

How did she end up here? Ji Su slowly stood up, step by step walking forward, countless patients crazily and wildly passing through her body, completely ignoring her existence, as if she could see them but in reality, both parties were in different time and space, fundamentally unable to touch!

Walking through one iron gate after another, the hospital room door that had just passed by suddenly "creaked" open, with no one pushing it, but slowly opening by itself.

Ji Su turned around and walked back, standing in front of the door hesitating for a moment before stepping inside. The room was empty except for a bed.

Ji Su-yin looked around and found a bundle of something in the corner. She hesitated, then slowly approached, bending down to get a closer look at the person huddled against the wall - it was Xu Min-qing!

The old man in front of him was hunched over, his hair disheveled, and his eyes dull and lifeless. Xu Minqing had gone mad! Suddenly, Xu Minqing suddenly lifted his head, and Ji Suyin found herself face to face with those lifeless eyes at close range, startling her. She reflexively fell backward, scrambling backward several steps, her eyes wide with fear as she stared at Xu Minqing. The old man tightly hugged a pillow in his arms, muttering incoherently.

Ji Su slowly got up and crawled, raised her eyes to look at Xu Minqing again, and was immediately scared back a step. Just now when she got up, in front of Xu Minqing, a small boy suddenly appeared squatting on the ground. The little boy just kept staring at Xu Minqing, without even turning his head to look at Ji Su.

"Hey! You little ghost! What's your problem? Why are you always haunting me? I don't think I've ever wronged you, have I? These past few days, you've been giving me nightmares. What do you want?! Hey! Little ghost?" Ji Su-yin angrily shouted for half a day, but the boy didn't respond at all.

At this moment, the boy slowly raised his right hand and gently stroked towards Xu Minqing's cheek. It was a fleeting touch that didn't even make contact! Ji Su saw this and suddenly fell silent, quietly watching as the boy lowered his head, staring at his small palm. Even with her back turned, she could imagine the boy's lost expression. A complex feeling surged in Ji Su's heart. The boy clenched his fist, slowly turned around to look at her, and slightly opened his pale lips. Although her ears didn't hear any sound, a childish voice simultaneously echoed in her mind, chokingly saying: "Sister! Help me!"
