Chapter 1: A Crushing Blow

  Chapter 1: A Stunning Blow

The Invincible Ghost Catching Company, a name that seemed out of place in this city district, appeared with three people standing at the entrance. The middle one was about 185 cm tall, with short hair and wearing a pair of frameless glasses and a white suit, looking handsome and charming, with eyes that could kill with a single glance. On his left stood another person wearing all black, with unkempt hair covering half his face, but still visible as a handsome guy, albeit with a melancholic gaze, seemingly staring into space without focusing on anyone. Next to the two handsome guys was another person, about 170 cm tall, wearing a black suit, with a plump build and a big belly, smiling at the crowd. These three people were the bosses of the Invincible Ghost Catching Company, attracting many onlookers on their opening day, even drawing in some media for interviews.

If the name of such a company makes people feel a bit untrustworthy, these three bosses don't seem to be one. If others knew about their individual experiences in the past, they would probably be shocked.

The person standing in the middle is Wu Tianqi, 26 years old, a theological genius, newly graduated with a doctorate, unmarried, nicknamed Wu Daxian, and has an outgoing personality.

The person standing on the left, Ou Shen, 26 years old, an orphan, Wu Tianqi's classmate, and also a popular figure in school, known for being cold and taciturn, rarely speaking, with Wu Tianqi being the only person he admires.

The person standing on the right, Li Gang, 30 years old, became Wu Tianqi's junior high school classmate after several demotions. After graduating from junior high school, he ventured into society and became a private entrepreneur with some achievements. He is currently in a state of divorce and is nicknamed Li Baozi.

As for the reason why this company was founded, it still has to start with Wu Tianqi, because he has the ability of yin and yang eyes, that is to say, he can see things that others cannot see.

Yin-yang eyes, in folklore, it is said that "yin-yang eyes choose humans, rather than humans possessing yin-yang eyes." Most people with yin-yang eyes are born with them, a supernatural ability to see ghosts and other paranormal phenomena that others cannot see. Wu Tianqi's yin-yang eyes may or may not be innate, but he started seeing things occasionally from his junior year of college, although it wasn't something he could do frequently, and there was a great deal of randomness to it. This was also the main reason he convinced his parents to let him study abroad in theology.

After graduating from his Ph.D., his mentor wanted him to stay and teach, but he chose to return home instead. Chou was also raised in an orphanage in China, and it was only through the sponsorship of a charitable organization that he had the opportunity to study abroad, so he returned with Tianqi. At a gathering, Tianqi met Li Gang and mentioned this idea, which was initially just a casual joke, but it sparked Li's intense interest. In fact, what he saw in it was an unlimited business opportunity, and after a series of plans and preparations, the Invincible Ghost Catcher Company was finally established.

  Chapter 2 Section 1

At 6:00 am, Li Gang walked out of the bedroom wearing only a pair of large floral shorts and said good morning to Qiu Shen, who was holding a cup of water. However, Qiu Shen just glanced at him and then walked away.

"This is ridiculous, it's like I'm being treated as if I were air!" Li Gang was very displeased. He had invested most of the funds to open this company and had gone to great lengths to get the original tenants on the second floor to move out, all for the convenience of having the office on the first floor.

There are actually many places to choose from, it's just because Qiu Shen said this place is the most suitable that he chose here, now this kid is acting like he doesn't care.

"This is already quite good, you should be content, he at least gave you a glance, you know that even in school our instructor would ignore us if he didn't want to," Tianqi said with a smile as he watched the scene unfold, having already prepared breakfast. The doctor had known this classmate of his for several years now.

"Cut, freak," Fatty muttered and sat down at the dinner table, picking up a ham and putting it in his mouth. In fact, Fatty had a house of over 100 square meters in the south of the city, but he claimed it was convenient for work, so he also moved into this three-bedroom apartment. The actual reason was that he didn't have to go out to eat all the time, and he basically never cooked himself because Tianqi said he was responsible for cooking. Tianqi's father was a chef, although Tianqi hadn't deliberately learned cooking skills, but it was clear that he had inherited his father's genes.

"Ding-dong, ding-dong," the doorbell rang at this time.

"Whoa, business has arrived?" The fatty was somewhat surprised.

It was just past six in the morning, they didn't expect that yesterday had just opened for business, and today someone came so early, Fatso hurried downstairs.

"Hey, can't you put on your pants before going down?!" Tian Qi was speechless, the company's image was completely ruined.

"It's all settled for this life," Qiu Shen said.

For Qiu Shen's precognitive ability, Tian Qi had never figured it out. He once dragged Qiu Shen to the hospital for an EEG and other tests, but nothing abnormal was found. In fact, Qiu Shen himself didn't know the reason either. This wasn't something he could control; sometimes when he deliberately tried to sense something, he couldn't, and often the answers would just pop up on their own. It wasn't too much to call this a superpower, but you'd have to add the four words "can't be controlled" in front of it.

Without thinking much, the two of them went downstairs and saw a fat man and a middle-aged man sitting on the sofa chatting.

Tian Qi chased Pao Zi upstairs and told him to change into good clothes. He then sat down with Qiu Shen.

"Hasn't she left yet?" Tian Qi glanced at Qiu Shen sitting next to him through the middle-aged man's introduction.

Chou Shen didn't respond, as if he had fallen into deep thought.

A middle-aged man's wife had suddenly died of acute heart disease a week ago, but every night he had the same dream, that was his deceased wife standing at the head of his bed combing her hair, staring at him with dead eyes without saying a word.

The man went to see the doctor, who was still reeling from his wife's sudden death and advised him to take it easy for a while, go out and clear his head, do something he had always wanted to do but never had time for.

If it weren't for the company founded by Tian Qi, the man might have just followed the doctor's advice, but after learning about their company, he still decided to come and ask, because every night he had been having the same dream.

They accepted in the first round.

  A woman wearing pajamas

When it comes to catching ghosts, Fatso is definitely no match for Tian Qi and Qiu Shen. However, when it comes to doing business, ordinary people can't keep up with him. He entered society early and has been struggling for many years, having his own business theory, so the final price was negotiated by Fatso.

The time was set for 5 o'clock tonight, and at that time, this middle-aged man would drive over to take them together.

The reason why the time was set at night is that Tian Qi also based on his past experience of seeing ghosts. Of course, he couldn't be sure that ghosts wouldn't appear during the day. As for the folk legend that ghosts belong to yin and avoid yang, these are just legends that he hasn't verified. At least from what he currently knows, ghosts might be a general term with one or even multiple forms of existence.

Anyway, they made it clear to the client that if they couldn't solve the problem, they wouldn't charge any fees. Also, none of the ghosts he had seen had ever harmed anyone, although this didn't necessarily prove that ghosts weren't harmful to humans.

Apart from the single business in the morning, there were no new orders. It's not that nobody came to consult, but some cases could be easily determined as man-made. Tianqi and his team are not private investigators, and it's clearly beyond their capabilities. Although Baozi wanted to take on several cases, he was rejected by Tianqi each time. Sometimes, resolving issues between people is more complicated than resolving those between humans and ghosts. If you're not careful, you might lose your life. He didn't want to die before achieving his goal.

In the afternoon, when it was past two o'clock, Fatso left, saying he wanted to go to the market. Of course, Tianqi wouldn't think that Fatso had a kind heart and was worried that buying vegetables would be tiring for him, so he went to help buy them. Who knows what idea was brewing in Fatso's mind?

However, Tian Qi still overestimated Pao Zi. Within an hour, Pao Ge came back with a lot of big garlic heads.

"What are you going to do?" asked Qiu Shen, who rarely spoke, with some surprise.

"You don't understand this, do you? You know what ghosts are afraid of, they're afraid of garlic. Tonight we'll each eat some and hang a string around our necks, even the most ferocious ghost will be scared to death." After saying that, he nodded his head in satisfaction.

Tian Qi's face turned black, they were going to catch ghosts, but not hiding from them, like Pangzi said, if it became like that, how could they still go and catch.

"It's also a good thing, I forgot about that," the fatty said with embarrassment as he scratched his head, "No big deal, our kitchen won't need to buy garlic for a long time, heh heh."

He was still a little scared in his heart, he had never seen a ghost since he grew up, but although he hadn't seen one, he had heard many such rumors and couldn't help feeling some fear.

"Otherwise, you'd better not go tonight and watch the company," Tianqi saw through Pangzi's mind.

"How can that be? Without me, Fat Brother, I won't let you two go," although he was afraid in his heart, but Fat Brother's mouth didn't give up, driven by curiosity, he would definitely go.

At 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 10 o'clock at night, the middle-aged man had been lying in bed for three hours, but nothing had happened yet, and his wife still hadn't appeared.

"Is it because we've arrived that his wife doesn't dare show up?" The fatty was getting a bit impatient.

Tian Qi is also uncertain whether it's this matter or not, maybe there really are reasons for this aspect.

"He said during the day that his wife came in his dreams, is it because he was always awake?" Qiu Shen said.

Chou Shēn's sudden words startled Páng Zi, because at this moment all the lights were turned off, and even though they were sitting very close to each other, they couldn't see each other. From the moment Chou Shēn entered the room, he hadn't said a word until now.

Tian Qi thought it made sense, so he got up and went to the bedroom. He knew the middle-aged man was still awake because they had just spoken a sentence.

After drinking some wine and listening to some relaxing music, the middle-aged man finally fell asleep.

"He's not afraid of us robbing him, so he lets us stay in his house with such ease," said the fat man after learning that the middle-aged man had fallen asleep. Judging from the car and house this man owned, as well as their size and decoration, he was definitely a rich guy. The fat man thought to himself how he should have asked for more money.

"Don't you have any professional ethics!" Tian Qi was speechless. How could he be classmates with someone like that, even if it was just in junior high school?

Originally, Tian Qi wanted to be in the bedroom so that he could handle any situation quickly, but later thought it was not suitable and chose the living room next to the bedroom instead. The distance is a bit far, but he can still see what's happening inside the bedroom clearly.

Time continued to pass, the bedroom was quiet, the curtains were not drawn, and a faint moonlight shone in, making it seem cozy yet somewhat eerie. All that could be heard was a light breathing sound, and Fatso's eyelids had already started to droop.

"It's coming," Qiu Shen's intuition told him.

Fatso suddenly became spirited and stared at the bedroom.

More than ten minutes passed again, and there was still no movement. The fat man became a bit impatient and cursed Qiu Shen in his heart. Now he found the young man extremely annoying to look at.

"Here, just by the bed," Tian Qi saw a woman with long hair and wearing a red nightgown standing facing the bed, her back to him, so he couldn't see her face.
