Jiuxian Changyu

  Jiǔ Shé Xiān Cháng Yù

Snakes are the soft-bodied animals I fear most in this life, especially giant pythons that have become spirits. At this moment, it's spitting snake letters at me, as if I'm its next delicious meal.

Why is this nightmare so real? It's just a little bit crawling closer to me, I'm scared and my legs are soft, closing my eyes and shouting non-stop: "Don't come over, there's not much meat on my body, I'll buy a pig for you to enjoy, spare me!"

A bloody basin with a big mouth, I was immediately scared to cry and crawl forward, trying to struggle and escape. But found someone pinched my shoulder and shook it, hearing Ming Yan's soothing voice: "Xiao Yue, open your eyes, it's all right now."

The voice is so clear, and yet you say it's nothing serious? Am I already dead or something? Isn't my life supposed to be longer than this?

I opened my eyes, holding back tears as I looked at him and Yuan Xue. I pursed my lips and held it in for half a day, but ultimately couldn't hold back the loud wailing sobs.

"I knew it, being able to see ghosts is not a good thing. Now I'm dead, what about my uncle?!" The broken jar was completely beyond saving, and since she's already dead, she didn't care about losing face anymore. The most ridiculous thing was that she was actually scared to death by the big snake, "I still have so many things I haven't done, so many delicious foods I haven't eaten yet!"

Ming Yan sat in front of me with a faint smile that wasn't quite a smile, shaking his head weakly. "You're not dead yet!"

  What? Not dead?

Looking around with a tilted head, I found that I had unknowingly returned home, and besides Ming Yan and Yuan Xue, there was also an unfamiliar man squatting on the ground with a slightly awkward smile.

  Who is this person?

"My goodness, it was just a nightmare! I'm so scared to death, I thought I was done for!" He looked around and found that the soft-bodied creature had disappeared, and he let out a sigh of relief, patting his chest. After calming down, he felt something was off - he had fainted on the main road, who brought him back? Could two ghosts have moved him?

I fixed my gaze on the man who had laughed enough and stood up, he was handsome, dressed very casually, but that clothes looked so familiar, how could it be like the one I bought for my uncle?

Although the clothes look a bit tacky, they still look good on him. I guess it's a matter of temperament, people who look good can pull off anything. And those eyes, they seem sharp and bright, familiar somehow, where have I seen them before?

"Excuse me, was it you who sent me back?" Wiping away tears and asking.

"Yeah, I scared you unconscious and dragged you back as compensation." He replied very casually, smiling warmly.

  。。。

But this answer made me immediately scalp numb, really want to faint again, but why it just won't faint!

The conditioned reflex of hugging the quilt had shrunk to the corner of the bed, no wonder the eyes were so familiar, that big python was staring at me like that, the playful and teasing eyes were exactly the same. His gaze swept back and forth among the three of them, stuttering as he pointed at the giant snake who had transformed into a human: "You, you, don't come over!"

He looked somewhat worried, looking at Ming Yan for help with a sullen expression, "I'm saying Yan, can't you just say something? Look at the way she's looking at me, I've already become human and she still looks so scared."

Ming Yan glared at him with a headache, complaining: "Who told you to meet with Xiao Yue in your true form? She's brave, but she can't handle your appearance! Originally, it was something that could be discussed, but you've ruined it again."

The big snake shook its head and said with a sigh, "This can't be helped. This little girl insisted on seeing Yin Yue again, and I couldn't appear in front of outsiders, so I could only hide my true spirit in the tree. My true spirit can't transform into a human either, this isn't my fault!"

Ming Yan glanced sideways at Yuan Xue, who looked embarrassed. The little girl noticed Ming Yan looking at her and blushed, lowering her head and saying "I'm sorry".

I watched the interactions of the three people and roughly understood that this big snake was actually the friend that Ming Yan was talking about! A ghost and a snake, what kind of partnership is this?

Two ghosts and a snake, I'm holding onto the quilt vigilantly watching them, they shouldn't be here to force me out of my palace, right? Seeing my attitude is too strong, so forcing me to help them instead?

If I don't agree, won't it be a case of more harm than good?

Thinking of this, I was so scared that my soul flew away. Three freaks, how can I fight them? Isn't that looking for death?

I was lost in thought, and when I came back to my senses, Ming Yan had somehow appeared next to me. Although we're familiar with each other, being this close to a ghost face-to-face, especially when I'm already panicked, made me shudder and take another step back, but I've already been backed into a corner with nowhere else to retreat. The intimidating aura from our first meeting has now been completely trampled under my feet.

"You, you said you wouldn't hurt me." How pathetic, I'm so embarrassed. It's actually in a crying tone, even I think it's humiliating.

Ming Yan's face wore a faint smile, his eyes clear and harmless. He seemed to sense my fear and revulsion, and instinctively took a step back to keep his distance. "I'm not lying, am I? Don't worry, Chang Yu doesn't harm people, he's a spirit creature, a snake immortal."
