Seven orifices bleeding
I saw more and more corpses on the wall, the color of the fire was getting yellower and yellower, I estimated it would be extinguished soon. "Don't talk nonsense, think of a way quickly."
I don't want to die, I don't want to be pierced all over my body by this ghostly thing before I die and become food for the corpse. The corpse's claws are like a knife, hooking into the flesh, directly drilling into the body, moving around the whole body, just thinking about it makes me feel terrified and nauseous.
At this time, several dead turtles crawled onto Zhao Si's heels and quickly swam over his body.
"Damn it!" Zhao Si slapped his neck, and a dead turtle was biting his neck tightly. I even heard the sound of the turtle's lower jaw. Then Zhao Si went crazy, desperately prying off the turtle, and finally managed to pull it off. With a forceful flick, the turtle slipped into his sleeve, and the rest of them crawled into his pant legs. His legs shook uncontrollably, and his movements slowed down. His mouth was wide open, and he just had time to turn his head when his foot got caught on a rock. He fell forward, right in front of the group of turtles.
I stared at Zhao Si who had fallen on the ground and shouted: "If you want to live, get up quickly!"
I reached out to pull Zhao Si, but was held back by Hei Shu, who shook his head and said, "You'll be in even greater danger if you go."
Right after that, I was swung away by Hei Shu's powerful swing to the back of the firewall. All I could do was watch as Zhao Si let out a muffled cry and saw two dead turtles jump onto his belly. He finally screamed in terror: "Save me."
"Let me go!" I shouted at Hei Shu, my eyes blazing with anger. Zhao Si was already badly injured and couldn't run very fast. Now, surrounded by so many zombies, they were crawling all over him, biting into his body. If I didn't save him, he would definitely be bitten to death by the zombies.
"Stay here, don't move." Hei Shu's face turned iron-green, he let go of my hand and said in a serious tone: "You can't die, I'll go."
Before I could even react, Hei Shu jumped up from the ground, took out a solid dye from his bag and lit it directly, throwing it next to Zhao Si. The hot corpse scattered immediately, and they fled in all directions from Zhao Si's body.
Hei Shu quickly pulled Zhao Si up and dragged him directly to the firewall.
"Are you okay?" I squatted down to check on him, only to find that Zhao Si had suddenly become completely still, sometimes moving, sometimes not, his reactions no longer like a normal person. He muttered: "What's going on?"
Suddenly, Zhao Si sat up from the ground and smiled at me with a "heh heh", blood gushing out of his mouth. The bright red blood was like an unstoppable fountain, constantly spouting outward. Along with the blood, a dead turtle emerged from his mouth. At the same time, two streams of blood also burst forth from Zhao Si's ears and nose, and his throat made a "gurgling" sound. Zhao Si seemed to be laughing, and as he laughed, a thin stream of blood flowed out from the corners of both eyes.
"He's finished," said Hei Shu in a low voice. "Seven orifices bleeding, he can't be saved."
Both eyes, both ears, two nostrils and mouth are the seven orifices. When all seven orifices bleed at the same time, it is incurable. Zhao Si had already bled from all seven orifices, his whole body sat on the ground, he was still smiling, with a crooked mouth, but what came out was a strange cry, then his whole body fell backwards.
"Zhao Si..." My eyes were filled with warm tears, I closed them, unable to bear looking at Zhao Si's extremely tragic death.
The corpse turtles were all attracted to the blood and flesh on Zhao Si's body, and they crawled over his corpse, swimming in the blood and wounds, gnawing at his flesh. The taste of blood completely excited these corpse turtles.
I clearly saw many turtles crawling into Zhao Si's belly, they treated Zhao Si's belly as their own home, I watched with my eyes sour, my stomach churned, watching a living person's life disappear before my eyes, my nose also started to ache, Hei Shu pulled my sleeve and said: "Don't look, take advantage of now, hurry up and run."
I forced back my tears and didn't let them fall, saying in my heart to Zhao Si's corpse:
Goodbye!
If it weren't for Zhao Si, I wouldn't be alive today, and maybe I would have been eaten by the man-eating flower.
As soon as I thought of the man-eating flower, I let out a loud cry. The current situation is several times more severe than that of the man-eating flower. The flames in front of me gradually died down, and the corpse-like creature was like a bloodthirsty demon, crazily crawling onto Zhao Si's body. At this time, I turned my face away.
Hei Shu said viciously, "I knew it."
I twisted my head back with difficulty, and warm tears had already burst out of my eyes. I rubbed my eyes with my hand, and Hei Shu urged me on the side: "Look at your neck."
Suddenly, I followed his pointing direction and saw a thin layer of skin being hooked up by a small claw of a dead gecko. Immediately after that, I don't know what the gecko did, but I only saw something severe falling off from its neck.
"What's that?" I asked in some surprise.
That layer of stuff was like a covering on top, connected to the entire face, looking very realistic. If it weren't for the corpse's claw being hooked up, it would have been absolutely impossible to discover.
"Mask." Hei Shu said coldly, his eyes emitting a fierce and sinister glow, as if he wanted to tear someone apart.
As soon as Uncle Hei's words fell, the ground beneath our feet suddenly began to slide rapidly downward. In my panic, I grabbed onto Uncle Hei with one hand and we both sank down together.
Suddenly, everything went black in front of me. I frantically felt around my backpack and pulled out a flashlight. After turning it on, I realized we had fallen from a very high distance. At the bottom, amidst a messy pile of sand, I stood up and muttered: "Fortunately, this is all sand; otherwise, we would have definitely been killed."
Although I have some complaints, I also feel very fortunate because I got rid of that corpse-like existence, at least I won't become a resting place for the corpses.
As I spoke, I felt that the whole person's breathing was extremely difficult, and my abdomen tightened. Then, the whole person sank down by half again. Just as I wanted to struggle, I heard a familiar voice shouting: "Don't talk, this is quicksand. As long as you open your mouth to speak, your abdomen will move, which will speed up the sinking."
I was startled, my eyes moved, and my expression was extremely surprised, almost shouting out loud, but I remembered what Xiao Shou Hou said, so I turned around and looked at Hei Shu beside me.
That's right, it was Xiaoshou who just spoke, and this news made me too happy.
"You won't be in danger for the time being, I'll go find someone to rescue you right away," said Xiao Shou Hou, and then heard the sound of rapid footsteps, after which even his voice could no longer be heard.
I'm standing on the sand, the sand hasn't reached my shoulders yet. I have one hand raised high, holding a flashlight, unable to move or speak, only in this pose. If I had a mirror now, I would definitely be impressed by my current action. Although there is no mirror, I feel that I am even more powerful than the Statue of Liberty, except that what I'm holding up isn't a torch.
It's better to be in quicksand than on a pile of corpses, anyway, I'd say my current situation is not good, it's very bad.
A person can endure sitting still for a long time, and perhaps standing still is also bearable. What's unbearable is standing still while holding up one's hands - that state isn't something ordinary people can achieve, after all I'm not some kind of goddess statue.
In the quicksand, I can still stand like this without moving, and I must say I'm a bit impressed with myself. Now the only thing that can move is my eyeballs. I rolled my eyes to the right and was scared stiff, my legs went limp and my whole body sank down a bit more, the sand didn't even reach my mouth yet, but it almost submerged my nose.
We are in the midst of quicksand, to my left is Hei Shu, and beyond him, many corpses hang from ropes, like the legendary hanging ghosts. On the sand dunes lie numerous white skeletons, and ahead lies a half-closed bronze gate.
For the first time, I saw so many dead people, and they were hanging from tree vines, it felt like they were hanged. If I hadn't seen them with my own eyes, I wouldn't have known that there were also dead bodies above my head. The corpses looked as if they were asleep, their skin didn't look dry and shriveled like the ones I saw on TV, not a single drop of water had been lost.
At this time, I wonder who is the owner of this tomb? Which dynasty's emperor is it?
Generally speaking, such a large tomb is either an emperor or someone with great influence. However, Qiu Bo and his team initially identified it as a Han Dynasty tomb. But on our journey here, apart from the danger, we haven't seen anything with distinctive Han Dynasty markings. Perhaps they were wrong from the start, and this might not be a Han Dynasty tomb after all.
Ceramic jars have been around for many dynasties throughout history, so it's impossible to know from this aspect.
Firstly, there is a hanging coffin. This can be explained that the owner of this tomb was an extremely devout or perhaps superstitious person, which can be seen from the carvings on the jade stone wall.
Secondly, the terrifying things in this place are probably not wild. From my feeling, starting from the ghost monkeys, I felt something was off, but couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. In the outside world, these ghost monkey beasts were almost extinct, but inside this tomb, they were gathered in groups, just like ants.
And that big white thing, no matter how you look at it, doesn't resemble the White Lady at all. It's ferocious and evil, determined to swallow people whole.
What's even more terrifying is that we would have become a haunted house if we hadn't encountered this quicksand. Now that I think about it, I feel lucky to have run into this quicksand; otherwise, we really would have turned into a haunted house.
It feels like this place is like a damn adventure blockbuster, always full of surprises for me.
There is a female corpse in the Jade Stone Room, wearing clothes that seem to be from the Qing Dynasty. Could it be from the Qing Dynasty?
Qing Dynasty
At this time, I suddenly remembered the footsteps, and my heart was overjoyed. The voice that came over was Xiao Shou Huan's: "Xiao Jiu, you're not dead yet? Don't worry, even if you were dead, I would still pull you out of the quicksand array."
I'd like to throw a corpse at this kid's mouth, all nonsense. If I could speak, I would have scolded him long ago. Now, can only stare with dry eyes.
The little monkey rushed to the first place, followed by Qi Xie, Baldy and Zhou Baihe. At this time, Zhou Baihe had already woken up and could walk, but looked a bit strange, probably due to injury.
The thin monkey held a bundle of ropes in his hand, I weighed it down, about ten meters away from where they were standing. He swung hard and the rope flew out, heading straight for the quicksand. The rope slowly approached us, and with a swooshing sound, it landed right in front of me.
"Damn it..." I widened my eyes to the largest extent, staring at Xiao Shou Huan with a fierce gaze, flames burning in my eyes, wanting to kill him directly.
He threw a rope and it actually went over my head, I suspected that this kid might be holding a grudge against me, wanting to kill me but not succeeding, however, there's no need to make it so obvious.
"It's too much force, I didn't mean to, hehe." Xiao Shou Hou hurriedly smiled and said: "Then what do we do now? There's no rope left."
I'm so angry, this is quicksand, not just an ordinary sand pile. That's something that can bury you in the sand and kill you, it's no joke.
Qī xié xiàng qián mài chū yī bù, lěng lěng de kāi kǒu shuō dào: "zhè dì fāng yuē zhǐ liù shí gè píng fāng ér yǐ, liú shā cóng nǎ lǐ lái?"
Translation:
Qi Xie took a step forward and said coldly, "This place is only sixty square meters in size, where did the quicksand come from?"
As he walked along the edge, his expression was very calm, as if he were just touring around. Next, he inserted his hand into the sand and immediately pulled it out, and the sand pit quickly healed and flattened.
"What a formidable quicksand formation! Luckily I dodged quickly at that time..." Little Skinny Monkey exclaimed, clearly letting out a sigh of relief.
"How did you find them?" Qi Xie raised his eyes and asked Xiao Shou Hou.
The thin monkey didn't say a word, but stretched out his hand and took something from his pocket. I looked at him sideways and saw that it was a round ball. Then the thin monkey pointed to the bronze gate on the right side and said: "When I came in, this place was flat ground, not like now with sand everywhere. I followed the map and walked to the opposite bronze gate, saw a spherical object, took it away, didn't expect that as soon as I stepped out of the door, I saw them after a while."
