Black Miao people arrived

  Black Miao people arrived

The dragonfly slept for more than two days, so when it woke up, it seemed to be still a bit dizzy. I don't know why I can understand the thoughts of an insect, but the emotional fluctuations of the dragonfly were directly transmitted into my mind.

According to what Nangong Shuang said, the dragon leech has absorbed some of my 'essence' blood and has been tainted with a bit of human aura, but its spiritual awareness has not opened yet, so it can only express a few simplest emotions, just like the state of a newborn human baby.

The message dragonfly is conveying to me now is that it's angry, very angry.

The leech expressed its anger in a very simple way, that is, biting people. Before I could react, the severe pain from my chest made me roll all over the ground.

Can you believe that even a bug can have 'bed' air? Anyway, I was tortured by it enough, but this little thing seems to know that my life and its are tied to the same rope, whoever dies the other will not survive either. So I just cried out in pain, and didn't spit blood like last night,I won't die anyway。

I was tormented by the dragon leech for over ten minutes, and I had a cold sweat all over my body. I almost fainted before it slowed down slightly. At that time, I didn't even have the strength to get up, but I still forced myself to breathe and send air to the dragon leech. Since Master's wife said that the current dragon leech is similar to a newborn baby, I should coax it.

The leech is on me, eating and drinking, except for my blood it's the true energy I've cultivated. Blood can be eaten at a buffet, but true energy needs to be provided by me actively. I reckon it's been sleeping for two or three days, after all this commotion it should be hungry now, this is exactly the opportunity for me to show my hospitality.

As the saying goes, don't hit a smiling face, even if it's an insect, it's hard to refuse food delivered right to your mouth. I could clearly feel that the true energy I mentioned earlier was running to the left chest when Long Hui sucked it into his stomach with a slurp, and then Long Hui transmitted a signal to me, he wasn't full yet.

I didn't immediately satisfy the dragonfly's demands, and it seemed to get a bit angry again, biting me, but not as fiercely as before. It looked like it was showing off to me. Just like Shifu's wife told me, raising a life-protecting wasp is similar to training a dog - you have to let it know who the master is, otherwise, the days ahead won't be easy to get through.

Intention? Brain wave? I don't know how to communicate with the dragonfly either, just concentrate my mind and think in my brain.

"If you want me to continue feeding you, then never bite me again! Otherwise, just wait for starvation." I thought very seriously, and I don't know if the dragonfly can understand.

The leech initially seemed very angry, and its mouth became a bit heavier. However, I was mentally prepared this time, so I could endure it and resisted stubbornly. Gradually, I felt the leech hesitating, and the force of its bite also became smaller and smaller. Seeing that there was hope, I took a deep breath from my dantian and slowly transferred it to the leech.

The dragonfly discovered my movement and showed a joyful feeling. However, just as the true energy was about to reach the left 'chest' mouth, I stopped.

"If you want to eat, then listen." I expressed it very simply, and tried to show a gentle and amiable emotion.

Looking at the delicious food in front of me, Long Xiaoyu's reaction was also quite decisive. Agreeing, obeying, and even flattering emotions suddenly flooded my mind, if it were a dog, I reckon it would be hugging my leg and wagging its tail by now.

It's really true that "nourishment" is the key to taming, and Long Xiaoyu is no exception. In front of food, his so-called "wild nature" is completely helpless. Of course, I also know that the reason why I can tame Long Xiaoyu so easily is inseparable from the "symbiotic relationship" that we have established between us. I am not going to abandon him, so he has instinctively developed trust in me.

Since the leech had already softened, I went ahead and transferred another strand of true energy to it. Feeling the leech's joy, my mood improved a bit as well. Although this little guy almost cost me my life, that was just its instinct. From now on, it and I should live in harmony, connected by blood.

The dragonfly finished absorbing the true energy, seemingly having eaten too much, so it fell into a dormant state. With nothing to do, I opened up the "Shangqing Qi Li Zhuan Jian" left behind by my master. The book was thick and heavy, about the same thickness as a standard Xinhua Dictionary. Upon opening it, I saw that most of the pages had turned yellow, and the characters seemed to be handwritten. In addition to the main text, there were also annotations, illustrations, and red comments, all written in complex characters, making my eyes feel dizzy and confused.

I mentioned earlier that I followed my fourth uncle to work outside at the age of 14 and didn't even finish junior high school. Although I also 'love' reading books, most of what I read were martial arts novels. The book in front of me had a pile of half-white, semi-illiterate complex characters, which really gave me a headache. It took me half a day's effort to roughly flip through the book from cover to cover.

The book says that our Qingmiao 'door' cultivates the Taoist method of Shangqing, which was passed down from Maoshan. It seems that what Master said is true. The entire "Shangqing Qi Li Zhuan Jian" is roughly divided into five parts: one is to refine the body and cultivate energy, the second is to nourish life through diet, the third is internal and external alchemy, the fourth is to expel external evil techniques, and the fifth is dream communication with divine revelation.

In my impression, the profession of Taoist priest seems to have nothing else except for drawing talismans, reciting incantations and waving a peach wood sword. But after reading this book "Shangqing Qiuli Zhuanjian", I found that it even includes the legendary alchemy of refining elixirs, truly all-encompassing.

Especially after the whole book, someone even added a part, which was actually a study of Miao people's Gu technique, using relatively simple and easy-to-understand language. I read it in one breath until the end, only to find that the signature at the end was my master Xiao Tian Shi.

The insect-raising technique taught to me by Nán Lí Shī Niáng was not only recorded in a book by my master, but also explained and supplemented with his own insights based on the principle of universal interconnectedness. It's written in far more detail than what Shī Niáng had orally instructed. It can be seen that my master has delved extremely deeply into the study of Miao people's insect-raising technique, absolutely not as superficially as he claimed it to be.

Now it's my turn to complain, Master has such a deep understanding of Gu sorcery, why bring me to Shuiniubao with so much trouble, isn't this adding feet to a drawing of a snake?

Even if he wanted to use driving out evil spirits as an excuse to meet with Nanli, this trip was too much of a hassle.

I was thinking vaguely in my heart, and continued to flip through the book with my hands. The previous part was too difficult to understand, I decided to bring it back to Kunming to buy a dictionary to look up, the part written by Master about Gu is relatively close to vernacular language, much easier to read.

It's not an exaggeration to say that reading "Shangqing Qigong" can make one feel reborn. When I was reading it, I found my memory improved a lot. Although I'm still far from being able to memorize everything at a glance, I can generally remember the main points after reading a page. If I had this skill back then, who knows, maybe I would have been able to get into high school.

I was flipping through the book in boredom, when I heard the sound of footsteps rushing up the stairs outside the small building. 'Meng' Zhou Chuan that kid ran to the door of the small building, panting and red-faced, don't know what's wrong with him being so anxious like this.

"Is it time for me to eat lunch?" I took a glance at the sky outside, and it should still be a while before mealtime.

The little Miao boy shook his head and said that Da Fu Ge had an accident, asking me to hurry up and go with him to the village to take a look.

I was stunned for a while before I came to my senses. 'Meng' Zhou Chuan said that Da Fu Ge is Dog Root, and I don't know when they became so familiar with each other?

I asked 'Meng' Zhou Chuan dog root what's going on, he said Gou Dafu let someone put a curse on him, now lying in the hut no matter how to call can't wake up.

The dog root child originally liked to tease the 'chicken' and provoke the dog, probably because he accidentally offended someone while strolling in the village early in the morning, so it's not bad for him to suffer a bit. Anyway, with my master Nanli here, nothing will happen, so I didn't take it seriously.

But 'Meng' Zhou Chuan pulled me out of the door, saying that all the capable Gu masters in the village had followed his aunt out, and now no one could remove the Gu from Gou Gen's body.

I said let's quickly go find the person who cast the spell, if he can cast it, he should also know how to lift it.

"Moeng" Zhou Chuan told me in a roundabout way that the ones who were casting the spell were from the Black Miao ethnic group, because the dog's owner was Han Chinese and the people in their village were too embarrassed to ask them to lift the curse.

What the hell is going on, why are they still connected to the Black Miao people? Isn't Shuiniupai a 'Hua' Miao village? I emptied my bag of clothes and packed the "Shangqing Qiu Li Zhuan Jian" in preparation for any unexpected situation, then hastily followed Meng Zhouchuan and ran into the village.

On the way, Meng Zhoucai told me the truth, saying that today a group of Black Miao people came to the village to find the head of the tribe, Meng Zhou Wu Huan, to discuss something. The dog didn't know the real situation and thought they were ordinary Flower Miao people, and it seemed like there was some misunderstanding in their words, so they suffered this disaster.

It's really the characteristic of Miao people to resort to violence at the slightest disagreement. Master said that Black Miao are more stubborn and discriminatory against Han people than Flower Miao, it seems true. These Black Miao people are obviously more unreasonable than Flower Miao, even if they were offended by a stray dog, they wouldn't start cursing right away.

The head of the clan, Wu Huan, and the Black Miao people met in a large hall. I took a peek inside from outside, Wu Huan and Wu Yang Lao were sitting on the left, with over ten "Hua" Miao men standing behind them. The five people sitting across from them were probably the Black Miao people.

When 'Meng' Zhou led me into the house, people from both sides were muttering something in Miao language. Anyway, I couldn't understand it. When I walked through the door, Wu Huan saw me first and beckoned me to come over, letting me sit down next to Wu Yang.

"Are you Han Chinese?" An old Miao woman with a face full of wrinkles asked me, her half-black and yellow face was etched with strange things, her pair of old eyes were murky and unclear, making me feel uneasy all over.

  "Yes." I nodded.

"Heh heh, is Water Buffalo Dam now a place where Han people can come and go as they please? It's really a shame to our ancestors." The old Miao woman let out two dry laughs, her voice sounding like an owl hooting.

This old woman seems to be intentionally causing trouble, I turned my head and saw that the old man Wu was so angry that his eyes were wide open, while the old man Wu beside him had a red face.
