The Curse of the Ancient Tomb Nineteen

The Curse of the Ancient Tomb Nineteen

The ancient tomb had long been cleared out, but the site hadn't been backfilled. The round and large mound, under the dazzling sunlight, stared at the five of them like an eye with a sinister smile. Old Yang couldn't help but shudder.

Su Yingzhen's throat was dry and her saliva was thick, cold sweat trickled down the tip of her chin to the front of her clothes, blooming into a suspicious small flower.

"I want to go in and take a look." She said with a trembling voice. For some reason, she was especially afraid now. But life isn't something you can avoid just because you're scared. Thinking about it, life is really helpless. Not going in wasn't an option. Because she had to find a solution, not just for solving the case, but also for herself. Didn't Xue Pinhan say yesterday that she was the target of the murderer?

She gazed at Xue Pinhan with pleading eyes: "Will you go in with me?" Xue Pinhan nodded, arranging for the others to stay outside the tomb and be ready to provide support at any time.

He looked down at her, a small face pale with fear, innocent eyes revealing helplessness, making one feel love and pity, really not wanting to let her take risks. But she was the key to the whole case, couldn't not go in. He gazed deeply at her, a mysterious girl full of enigmas. Who exactly was she?

The dark grey wooden door emitted a dull, eerie glow, looking at Su Yingzhen and Xue Pinhan with an icy coldness like the gates of hell, ready to swallow them up at any moment.

Xue Pinhan pushed open the heavy, ancient wooden door with great effort. The sunlight slowly crept in as the door opened, but was entwined by endless darkness, unable to advance or retreat, struggling painfully.

Inside the tomb, it was pitch black all the way to the bottom. What entered Su Ying Zhen's eyes was endless blackness; a blackness that frightened her yet fatally attracted her. A cold and musty aura of death enveloped her, tempting him, pulling him in, step by step, into the depths within.......

The wooden door slammed shut behind her with a loud "boom". The sound was like thunder that shocked Su Yingzhen awake from her daze. She was now in total darkness, stretching out her hands like a blind person to feel around slowly, her heart racing, and shouting in a sobbing tone: "Leader, where are you?"

All around was silent, silently frightening, no one answered him.

Su Yingzhen strained her eyes in the darkness, trying to make out any hidden dangers. But all she could see was blackness. Her hand touched the cold wall of the tomb, and the chill of death seeped through her gloves, making her feel as if she were in an ice cellar, with cold air swirling around her, her legs trembling uncontrollably.

In the boundless silence, only the sound of one's own teeth chattering can be heard, making people even more frightened in the gloomy and eerie tomb.

Suddenly, several dim blue ghost fires appeared out of thin air, flickering uncertainly in the atmosphere. Su Yingzhen's pupils dilated, and fine beads of cold sweat seeped from her forehead, her eyes following the dancing ghost fires with a desolate beauty.

A dark silhouette on the wall cast a heavy shadow that drew her gaze irresistibly over.

She stared blankly at the shadow.

A figure slowly emerged from the cold, dark wall and separated from it. A dark red figure floated in front of her, with long hair flying in the windless tomb, shrouded in shadows all over, only a pair of eyes gleaming faintly.

That was anger. Her two eyes stared straight at Su Yingzhen, her sinister gaze entwining around her like a poisonous snake.

This is a dream! Su Yingzhen suddenly woke up, she was clearly with the team leader when they came in, why did she end up alone? It must be a dream! She closed her eyes tightly and opened them again, but he was still standing in front of her!

This can't be! Su Ying's eyes widened as she bit her finger so hard that it started bleeding, and she let out a loud cry of pain.

It's not a dream!!!! Then, where did that damned Xue Pinhan run off to?

Xue Pinhan followed Su Yingzhen into the tomb, and the door was heavily closed behind them. Such a heavy door couldn't have been blown shut by the wind, nor could it have been closed by the team members waiting outside at any moment. So, there's only one possibility...

He quietly called out, "Little Su, Su Yingzhen, Yingzhen." He shouted several times but there was no response. His palms were already sweating. From his early twenties as a police officer until now, nothing had made him so panicked and fearful. At this moment, he wasn't worried about his own safety, but rather - Su Yingzhen.

In the darkness, a faint scent seemed to be approaching him. A small, icy hand grasped his large one: "I'm here." Su Yingzhen's crisp and pleasant voice sounded in his ear.

"You're not Su Yingzhen!" Xue Pinhan shouted. The fragrance emitted by Su Yingzhen's body was not this scent. Moreover, that small hand was not a living person's hand, only the dead had no temperature.

He grasped the hand tightly: "Where did you take Su Yingzhen?" A woman's eerie and terrifying laughter echoed in the tomb. Xue Pinhan's hand was empty, and the small hand had turned into a handful of foul-smelling dust.

Xue Pinhan stood still, using his calmness to counter the sudden movement. A chill ran down his spine as he sensed someone approaching from the darkness. He swung a punch in that direction, but it hit the wall with a thud, leaving him wincing in pain. Suddenly, something wrapped around his neck, and he hastily tried to pull it off, only to find that it was an arm-like object. The arm scratched his face, and he detected a gust of wind sneaking up on him, dodging just in time by tilting his head back. With both hands grasping the arm, he applied force and snapped it with a loud crack. The arm then vanished into thin air.

Having waited in the darkness for half a day without any movement, Xue Pinhan still didn't know what had happened to Su Yingzhen. In a panic, he felt his way towards the door, wanting to open it and then think of something else. But despite it being just a few steps away, he somehow couldn't reach the end of the path. He recalled the strange case that Old Yang had once told him about, and wondered if he too was experiencing the "ghostly wall" phenomenon?

Just as I was filled with suspicion, the door behind me creaked open slowly with a "creak", and outside the tomb was also pitch black.

Xue Pinhan rushed out in two steps, a wheel of moonlight was dim and bleak, covered with a thin layer of fog, coldly shining down, the stars were dull and without light, like eyes that had lost their soul, staring blankly at the world.

There is no one outside the tomb, and Old Yang and others have run to unknown places.

Xue Pinhan gazed out at the vast night, couldn't believe it was already midnight. He felt like only less than an hour had passed. He took out his phone to check the time, and before he even pressed anything, the screen lit up automatically. A woman's face with a hint of resentment and hatred appeared on the screen, giving him a cold smile: "It's your turn."

Xue Pinhan's heart skipped a beat: "Is it my turn? Is Su Yingzhen...?" He dared not think further, his heart in great pain.

As he was lost in thought, the woman's face emerged from the small screen and faced him. Xue Pinhan's heart skipped a beat as he slammed his phone to the ground with a loud "bang", causing it to explode and emit a thick smoke. Amidst the smoke, a dark red-clad woman stood amidst the endless desolate cold moonlight, her long black hair cascading down, fluttering in the wind, exuding an otherworldly beauty.

The woman shook her hair violently, and a mass of beautiful hair turned into a messy grayish-white hair like withered grass. Her beautiful face rapidly declined, shriveled up like a walnut, and her dull eyes flickered with resentment, with several snakes slithering in and out of her mouth.

Although he had seen many bloody scenes, Xue Pinhan also felt a chill when he saw such a terrifying scene. He quietly pulled out his gun and stared at her without blinking.

She slowly, slowly walked towards him.

With a "bang", Xue Pinhan hit her right between the eyebrows. The woman tilted her head back, but didn't fall down, and instead, a sly smile spread across her face as she stared at him with an eerie gaze, instantly moving to his front.

Xue Pinhan let out a loud shout, the sound piercing through the clouds and startling a tree of cold crows. Two fists fiercely struck towards the woman's temples. Black smoke rose, and the ferocious demonic shadow vanished into thin air.

Xue Pinhan only felt a chill on his back, cold sweat had already soaked through his clothes. He looked up and saw the moon's pale yellow color, it was smiling coldly at him. He stared at the moon in shock.

  "Xiao Xue!"

  "Boss!"

Xue Pinhan turned around, and Old Yang and the other two ran towards him. He quickly composed himself, wiping away the beads of sweat on his face: "Where did you guys go?"

"When it got dark and you didn't come out, we went back to the fortune teller's place and took a few talismans"

"Come and save you and Xiao Su." Old Yang replied, waving the yellow talisman paper in his hand that was filled with symbols drawn with cinnabar.

"Head, you're out, why haven't I seen Zhenzhen?" Dong Yiqi looked around him anxiously and asked.

"Is that so? Really?" Shen Zhiyuan also asked in pursuit: "Boss, you wouldn't have abandoned Zhēnzhēn and run out alone, would you?"

"Is Xiao Xue that kind of person? Which time was there danger and he wasn't rushing to the front to protect us?" Old Yang scolded Shen Zhiyuan.

Shen Zhiyuan no longer made a sound, but his heart was already tied up in knots.

Xue Pinhan's face showed a look of guilt and his eyes were shrouded in a thick mist, his voice low and sorrowful: "We got separated as soon as we entered the ancient tomb, I don't know where she is."

"This is impossible! We saw you two go in together, the tomb is so small, there's no reason to get lost." Dong Yiqi shouted in disbelief "She must still be inside the tomb and hasn't come out yet!"

Everyone turned back, and the ancient tomb was actually filled in, deeply buried underground. The faces of the four people suddenly turned pale.

  Su Yingzhen was buried alive!

The question is, who can refill the ancient tomb in a very short period of time?

Dong Yi Qi was both angry and anxious, his eyes were completely red, he grabbed Xue Pin Han's collar: "Since you're with Zhen Zhen, why didn't you bring her out together?"

Xue Pinhan's brain was buzzing, almost losing his ability to think. Scenes flashed through his mind: "Master's survival gaze when he slowly fell down before his death; Su Yingzhen's helpless eyes gradually dying in the tomb due to lack of oxygen..."

"Why don't you bring her out with you?"

"Why don't you bring her out with you?"

Lao Yang and Shen Zhiyuan fiercely scolded him, the three of them surrounding him in a circle, staring at him fixedly, their eyes seeming to tear his soul apart.

Xue Pin's heart ached as he lowered his head, the cold moonlight pouring down, and on the ground, there was only one figure...
