Chapter 5: Upholding Justice

  Back in the dormitory, it was already past 10 o'clock at night. The lights were on in the room. Pushing open the door, Wu Shihong was huddled under the covers with his head covered by a quilt. Wang Xuebing was doing his homework, and Li Lin had bought a laptop computer at some point, wearing headphones as he stared at the screen.

  "How are you? Nie Yu, is that a human or a ghost? Are you okay?" He stared at me blankly, sizing me up and down as if I were a ghost.

  "What are you looking at? Do you have to stare like that? Your eyes are almost popping out!" I put the quilt on the empty computer desk, pulled Wang Xuebing's hand and walked out of the dormitory.

  "That was indeed a female ghost, and a wrongly killed one. I've promised her to avenge her death..." The detailed story was told to Wang Xuebing. Wang Xuebing seemed to be moved by the female ghost's experience, but he appeared not to fully believe that there were really ghosts, or was half-believing and half-doubting.
