Volume 1: I Have a Dream Prologue
Preface
In 1999, September 22nd. I was seventeen years old and in high school.
However, if I count the years I've lived, I'm over 900 years old now.
This thing sounds perhaps very ridiculous, very laughable, and unthinkable.
But it's really true...
Originally, I could have said something more brilliant, but whoever has gone through hundreds of cycles wouldn't have the slightest interest in pouring out their heart anymore.
That was on a certain day more than 900 years ago, if I didn't remember incorrectly, it should be September 22nd, 2008, my 26th birthday.
That night a group of friends celebrated my birthday with me, we drank a lot of wine, and in the end I hugged several beautiful women to sleep.
This is all the memories I have of the most important turning point in my life. Don't mention how confused I was, the fact that I can still remember these things is already incredible. Because after that day, when I opened my eyes again, I found that I had actually returned to the past.
Good heavens, what an incredible thing! However, no one could have imagined that something even more astonishing was yet to come.
From that day on, I began to show off my skills and vowed to use the experience beyond this world for nine years to fight for a kingdom of my own.
Unfortunately, I only returned to nine years ago, not the feudal society. I don't remember even a single lottery number, nor can I write any timeless masterpiece. These years' American blockbusters all rely on movie special effects, and plagiarism is not enough. And so on, ultimately leading to my meager knowledge not being of much help to me.
However, after all, I still understood the general trend of the future world. After stealing and selling dozens of popular songs at a low price, I got my first bucket of gold.
A business prodigy rose to prominence, and at the age of 26, although I didn't manage to build a financial empire, I was considered successful and joined the ranks of billionaires.
The world after 2008, I can no longer predict, but this does not affect my pleasant mood. This money is enough for me to spend a good day with many wives and concubines. But just at this time, an astonishing situation appeared.
After that night...
I'm back to seventeen years old again.
Sorry, don't blame me for being rude. Actually, this is just my complaint at the moment. At that time, I was more joyful and utilized the business experience from the previous round to make this round even better.
In that reincarnation, I indeed achieved greater success. At 18, I became the most promising investor, at 20, I had my own industrial company, at 21, my company successfully went public, and at 24, my subsidiary focusing on real estate and stocks was one of the strongest in the country.
All good things are coming towards me.
But... on my 26th birthday, I once again returned to being 17 years old.
Should I scold on the street?
That inescapable seventeen-year-old calamity...
Time and time again, I've been reincarnated, but now I'm too exhausted to curse anymore. All I can recall is that in my hundreds of past lives, I was a national leader, a scientist, an athlete, and even a monk, a hooligan, and a beggar...
But most of the time, I'm just a walking corpse in the mountains. Having lived for so long, everything has become numb to me.
They all see through it too...
