Mom (three)
The two children had been hungry for a long time, and Luo Ke didn't dare to give them too much to eat at once. She took out two small bowls and first ladled some soup into them to fill their stomachs.
Victoria is already six years old and can hold her own bowl to drink, while Lily is still a little over one year old, she has little chance of holding the bowl herself, Roco, who is indulgent in maternal love, holds her in his arms, feeding her with a small spoon.
The rich rabbit soup went into her empty stomach, and Victoria only felt that her cold and stiff body slowly warmed up. She held the bowl and sat on the sofa, half-closing her eyes to look at the black shadow sitting there holding Lily and eating.
Although she couldn't see her appearance, Victoria knew that she wasn't actually their mother, but from her gentle movements, it was clear that she was good to them.
Victoria lowered her eyelids and covered up the complicated emotions in her eyes, sipping the rabbit meat soup from the bowl in small mouthfuls.
Lily had finished her soup and was rubbing her round belly with a curved brow, sweetly calling out "Mom".
Facing such a lovely and cute girl, Luo Ke's heart melted, stretching out his withered wooden hand to gently pinch her chubby cheeks.
Her dark fingers formed a stark contrast with Lily's pale skin, and Luo Ke's expression was slightly dazed. This child was still young and didn't know what fear was; when she grew up and discovered her differences from them, it was unknown whether she would still be so affectionate and snuggle up against her.
Taking care of the kids with a ghost body is much better than being a licker, at least she doesn't have to worry about accidentally hurting them and turning them into two little zombies.
The small wooden house was somewhat damaged, and the cold wind blew in from the gaps. Even though Luo Ke had lit up the fireplace, the room still couldn't warm up.
Looking at the two little dumplings wrapped in a quilt still shivering, Luo Ke stood up helplessly, gesturing for them to stay here obediently, and she went out for a moment.
There are still nearly two months before the cold winter ends, and if this continues, the two children will eventually catch a chill. She doesn't want her two lovely little girls to become sickly in the future.
In the mountains, what is least lacking are big trees. In these deep and ancient forests, there usually wouldn't be anyone coming even on ordinary days, let alone in such terrible weather. Luo Ke didn't need to worry about his appearance being discovered by others at all.
Heavy snow sealed the mountain, Luo Ke was afraid that there were hungry wolf packs roaming in the deep mountains and old forests, and didn't dare to go too far, only searching for a sturdy big tree not far from the small wooden house.
Luó Kě stood in front of the tree, holding her breath and concentrating. The black method surged forward like a tide, rolling towards the large tree. Her originally soft hair became sharper than a knife under her urging, and her black hair swirled back and forth on the trunk of the tree. In just an instant, the big tree crashed to the ground.
Luò happily swung her long hair, which had changed back to its gentle and cute cat-like appearance, this kind of murderous and thieving home travel essential accessory was very much to my liking.
Luckily, the house was made of wood, otherwise Luo Ke would have had no way to repair the holes. She carefully searched around the house and nailed all the holes with wooden boards. After busy for several days, Luo Ke finally completed the task. Looking at the small wooden house that she had repaired, Luo Ke disdainfully pursed her lips, something must have gone wrong, this was not her usual standard.
After these days of getting along, Lily completely accepted Luo Ke and treated her as her own mother. Every day, she would follow behind Luo Ke with her little short legs, pulling on the torn cloth strips on Luo Ke's clothes and calling out "Mom".
The little loli was raised to be white and chubby, her small face had become even rounder, her tiny body was plump and chubby, looking like a ball as she rolled around the room, looking very playful.
Luoke also likes this child very much, often carving some small toys with wood to coax her to play... Okay, although his carving skills are unbearable, the carved things are a bit abstract, fortunately Lili doesn't dislike them and likes these small toys very much.
As for Victoria, the child was a bit older after all, although she was only five or six years old, but she had her own thoughts and memories, although she tried to hide them, Luo Ke could still sense her fear.
Luckily, the kid's glasses were smashed and she could only vaguely see her appearance, otherwise Luo Ke really couldn't imagine what kind of reaction she would have when she saw this ghostly appearance.
This winter had been snowing for a long time, at the beginning, Luo Ke could still find some fresh animals, but later on, the thick snow almost buried her whole body. At this time, no animal would come out to die, fortunately, she had caught many animals before, and the two children's appetite was small, Luo Ke skinned and processed them, then directly buried them in the snow.
In this way, relying on the meat of these animals, they managed to hold out until the snow melted and the earth sprouted new life.
Having eaten a winter's worth of meat, not to mention these two sisters, even Luo Ke had had enough. Fortunately, there were plenty of wild vegetables in the mountain forest that could improve the two sisters' already jaded palates.
Spring has arrived, and Anluo Ke encountered another headache. The thick clothes on her and her sister's bodies can no longer be worn, but where can she find clothes for them to wear in this desolate mountain wilderness?
Watching the two little girls wearing winter clothes in front of her every day, Luo Ke was almost worried to death. She couldn't possibly conjure up two sets of clothes out of thin air, and she certainly couldn't let these two children continue wearing the same clothes forever.
Spring is fine, what about summer? Even if they can wear these clothes all year round, children grow up quickly and soon these clothes won't fit anymore, what to do then?
Luó kě looked at the two children sleeping together, her withered branch-like hands gently stroking their bodies.
These days she has been thinking about one thing, with two children following her to live, it's not a good thing, let alone the desolate mountains and wild ridges, the living conditions are simply not keeping up, and as a ghost herself, two human little girls mixed together with her for a long time is not good.
But the forest is really too big, she has been searching for two years and still can't find a way out, let alone now that she also needs to bring two children with her. She can camp in the wilderness, but the kids can't, and she won't take them away from here until everything is fully prepared.
