Chapter 7: Cleverly Obtaining a Heavenly Fate and Establishing the Great Way (Part 1)

Chapter 7: Obtaining the Heavenly Fate and Establishing the Great Dao (Part 1)

Cui Hao was not reused, and naturally felt that everything was going wrong. It wasn't until three years ago when he took the position of Zhu Bo that he married a young wife. Unfortunately, due to his meager salary, he often suffered from his wife's temper, so his poems are filled with desolate feelings.

Lin Yun is the only son of Lin Shi, and among all the brothers, he is the one who understands the meaning of being a gentleman. His poems often have an encouraging and comforting tone, hoping that his elder brother will not be disheartened.

Zhou Wenbo couldn't get a word in edgewise, so he could only pour himself a drink and drink alone.

"This feeling, this scene, is just as Taizu said: 'In the prime of youth, with elegance and vigor; with the spirit of a scholar, writing with abandon. Pointing to the rivers and mountains, stirring up literature, in those days we were the masters of millions of households.'"

Several seniors are very talented, and Zhou Wenbo is deeply impressed. If his own ability cannot even convince several senior brothers, what can give him the confidence to subdue several senior brothers as his own followers? Is it just because he is the son of a noble family?

Unfortunately, this identity can only attract a few sycophants and incompetent literati. Truly talented people usually have an unyielding spirit; if you cannot truly subdue them, wanting to make them surrender with a mere show of authority is just a naive fantasy. Even as a great online writer, I wouldn't deign to use such a cliché; wanting to actually put it into practice in real life is just a pipe dream.

The cold wine poured into his stomach, but it was like fire burning in his chest. His heart felt as if a huge stone had been pressed on top of it, heavy and oppressive. Suddenly, Zhou Wenbo jumped up from his seat, holding the wine with one hand, leaning against the railing, and singing loudly.

"The scenery of the northern country, a thousand miles of ice and snow, ten thousand miles of drifting snow."

When the young junior brother suddenly stood up, drinking and reciting poetry, the four senior brothers all stopped talking and listened intently. In an instant, within a hundred meters, all sounds ceased, leaving only Zhou Wenbo's voice echoing through the air.

"Looking at the Great Wall inside and out, only vastness remains; on the great river up and down, suddenly lost its surging flow."

"The mountain dances with silver snakes, the plain gallops with wax elephants, wanting to compete with the heavenly lord for height."

"On a sunny day, wearing red and wrapped in white, exceptionally charming."

This morning's ancestor is the most famous word, its literary infectivity can be compared with Li Du, and it is not inferior to Su Xin. The crowd of teachers and brothers held their breath and meditated in secret.

"The mountains and rivers are so beautiful, attracting countless heroes to bow their heads in admiration."

"Alas for Qin Shi Huang and Han Wu, slightly inferior in literary elegance..."

Having read up to this point, I couldn't continue for a while.

Zhou Wenbo only then came to his senses, earlier he had drunk on an empty stomach and in the blink of an eye was intoxicated, unexpectedly reciting Taizu's proud work in front of many senior brothers, unfortunately if he continued reading, it would be a disaster.

Upon hearing the broken tone, several fellow disciples seemed to be floating on cloud nine but suddenly fell to the ground. This "Qu Yuan Chun" has already been elegant in its first stanza, and the second stanza is even more stunning, like a meteor piercing through the clouds and rocks, leaving one bewildered. Just this one sentence, "Jiang Shan Ru Ci Duo Jiao", has instantly elevated this poem to a higher level.

He drained his cup and Zhou Wenbo refilled it again.

"Wei Wu and Sui Wen are slightly inferior. The pride of the Tang Dynasty, Tian Khan, the flags on the city walls of Chang'an are waving."

In a hurry, unable to think of suitable words, Zhou Wenbo could only improvise according to his own understanding.

Wei Emperor Cao Cao, Sui Emperor Yang Jian, although not comparable to Qin Huang and Han Wu, but after the Han Dynasty, there were only a few dynasties that were nearly unified, such as Wei, Jin, and Sui. Among so many emperors, only these two men's achievements are worthy of being included in this article, unfortunately, the word "wen" does not rhyme.

The ability of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, goes without saying. He was revered by the four barbarians as "Tian Kehan", and it's barely acceptable to replace Genghis Khan with him. However, naturally, the phrase "only knowing how to shoot eagles with a bow" can no longer be used afterwards.

After careful consideration, it was changed to "Chang'an City Head Banner Waves". On the one hand, it satirizes that during the Tang Dynasty, the capital Chang'an was occupied by foreign tribes and rebel troops for a total of seven times, and even changed to the "Wu" dynasty for dozens of years. On the other hand, it also expresses regret over the fall of the Tang Dynasty.

After writing this section, Zhou Wenbo let out a long sigh and easily added the last sentence.

"All have passed on, many famous figures of the past; now look at today."

The chanting is finished, looking around, the ravens and sparrows are silent, all the fellow Taoist priests show a look of astonishment, but no one opens their mouth.

Zhou Wenbo suddenly remembered that this "Qingyuan Spring Snow" was a very famous anti-poem, the lower verse expressed contempt for Qin Shi Huang, Han Wu Di, Wei Wu Di, Sui Wen Di and Tang Taizong, then poured out the sentiment of "still looking at today's dynasty", its majestic air of changing dynasties and sweeping the universe was revealed without any reserve, giving a shock to fellow masters as fierce as an 8-magnitude earthquake.

"Wine is the muse, as Du Fu once said: 'Li Bai wrote a hundred poems after drinking'. Our predecessors were not deceiving us. My younger brother has always had a belly full of talent but didn't show it off. Today, he climbed high and drank wine while composing poetry, truly a delightful thing! We should all raise our cups to congratulate Brother Zhou." The first one to break this awkward atmosphere was Fourth Brother, Zhuge Yu.

The five of them were like they had just walked out of a paused time, and everyone drank and made merry, without mentioning the poem that Zhou Wenbo had just recited, but each was shaken in their own heart, which was not enough to be told to outsiders.

Zhou Wenbo secretly felt fortunate that this "Qingyuan Spring Snow" was only heard by four senior brothers, all of whom were men of integrity and would not do anything dishonorable. If this poem had been spread among the crowd, Li Cunxu would probably have been the first to jump out and chop off his own head.

Unfortunately, Zhou Wenbo did not expect that the complete hearing of his "Qing Yuan Chun Xue" was not only four senior brothers, but also two passersby a thousand miles away.

Late autumn has turned into cold winter, yesterday it snowed all day, and coincidentally a man and a woman were wearing light clothes, walking quickly. In front was an old man with white hair and a youthful face, floating like a celestial being, behind him followed a tall and slender woman in white clothes, the two of them wore thin clothes but didn't feel cold, their footsteps left only shallow prints in the snow.

The two figures were at least a thousand meters away from the Qu Shi Pavilion, and even the loudest voice would have dissipated by the time it reached this place. Yet, after hearing just one sentence, they stood solemnly in the vast snowy expanse.

"Good, good! 'All gone, all gone, the elegant and refined people of the past, now look at today!' Who would have thought that in this world there is such a remarkable person!" The old man applauded with admiration after hearing this.

"Master, I wonder if this is the extraordinary star we've been searching for?" The white-clad woman asked with a smile.

These two masters and disciples were originally cultivating the Tao on Mount Hua, enjoying the mountains and forests. Unexpectedly, a few days ago, purple light shone in the starry sky, near the North Dipper, and the energy rushed towards the Purple Mansion. The old master carefully cut it off, saying that the three treasures of heaven, earth, and man were gathering together, and the strange phenomenon was rushing to the sky, and the true dragon would emerge.

Due to the great change in heaven and earth, the omen responded in the Central Plains. The two masters and disciples then descended from the mountain and rushed to the Central Plains.

"'The world is like a copper furnace, and the clear water dragon emerges.' For thirty years, the world has been in great chaos. Looking at the celestial phenomena, there should be a sage emerging, with power over the four seas, stabilizing the world. It's just that I don't know who this person will be." The old man sighed.

"Master Chen, your cultivation is comparable to that of the Southern Huashan Old Immortal and not inferior to the Pure Yang True Person. If even you can't find the true dragon, then it's unlikely that there will be anyone in this world who can communicate with heaven and earth." The girl's tone was so bold that if others were to hear it, they would probably laugh out loud, but looking at her calm demeanor and even tone, it seemed as though she was simply stating a fact.
