Chapter 21: Skipping Grades
The second semester.
On the first day of school, Yang Jue was summoned to the principal's office.
"Yang Jue, I have some good news for you. You won't have to read first grade again this semester. The school plans to skip you a level and let you go straight to sixth grade!" said the principal with narrowed eyes in his office.
"What? Skipping grades? And skipping all the way to sixth grade in elementary school?" Yang Jue's eyes widened.
"That's right. According to the teachers of your first-year magic class, you are a genius among geniuses! With your current level, you can directly go to sixth grade without having to follow the first-year students around." The principal explained.
"This..." Yang Jue hesitated.
"What? You don't want to?" The principal asked suspiciously.
"It's not that I don't want to, it's just..." Actually, if he were to directly advance to sixth grade, Yang Jue would think it's only natural. After all, with the knowledge he currently possesses, he has already surpassed what a first-grade student should be learning. It's just that Yang Jue is really going to miss Jessica and Nansy. Going to another class means not being able to sit together and play with Jessica and Nansy every day.
"Yang Jue, what's troubling you? Go ahead and tell me, I'll help you resolve it." The principal asked him in this manner when he saw Yang looking worried.
"No, nothing." Yang Jue shook his head and said, "I agree to go to sixth grade to study, Principal, you arrange it for me."
"Really? That's great!" The principal said with a smile, "Don't worry, everything has been arranged. Follow me." With that, the principal led Yang Jue out of the office.
Sixth grade and first grade are actually in the same building.
Walking up the stairs and arriving at the classroom of the sixth-grade magic class, just as he was about to push open the door, the principal stopped in his tracks and then crouched down in front of Yang Jue.
"By the way, Yang Jue, there's one more thing I forgot to tell you. You must promise me!" said the principal.
"What's up, Principal? You said it is." Yang Jue asked curiously.
"It's like this, unlike the students in other grades of magic classes who are almost all from poor families, the sixth grade magic class can be said to be a truly noble class." The principal said.
"Noble Class? Are all the students in this class nobles?" Yang Jue furrowed his brow.
"Not all of them, but out of the over 30 students in the class, the majority were born into wealthy and influential families, while only six or seven came from poor households. That's why I said this class is truly a noble class." The principal explained.
"What does this have to do with me?" Yang Jue said lazily.
"Haha, this...," the principal said with a chuckle, "Yang Jue, other students really have nothing to do with you, and they don't even qualify to be associated with you, so you don't need to bother with them at all... What I mean is, Yang Jue, although you're only six years old, I know you're not an ordinary kid. In your daily interactions with your classmates, if the other students haven't intentionally offended you, I hope you can let it go for my sake and not hold grudges against them..."
"After talking for half a day, Principal, your meaning is that I shouldn't casually cause trouble in daily life, right?" Yang Jue said with an unpleasant tone.
"That's not what I meant..." The principal hastily explained.
"Alright, Principal, I understand what you mean. Don't worry, as long as others don't come to provoke me, I won't bother with them. Even if someone intentionally wants to make things difficult for me, I'll let it go out of respect for your age. Otherwise, being a principal would be too hard for you, right? Don't worry, I understand." Yang Jue patted the principal's shoulder and said.
"Really? That's great! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Yang Jue. Thanks for thinking of me like this." The principal said with gratitude.
He glanced at the principal with a slanted eye, and although Yang Jue didn't say anything out loud, he thought to himself that if this 40- or 50-year-old principal were outside, he would definitely be a charming figure that many people would want to curry favor with. Who would have thought that in front of a six-year-old child like himself, he would be so obsequious and fawning? It's probably unbelievable even if you told others about it.
It seems that Soraka's reputation in this country is indeed quite large. With just one sentence from her, the principal can take care of him like this.
"If there's no problem, let's go into the classroom then." The principal personally opened the classroom door for Yang Jue.
"Alright."
At this moment, a blonde girl in her prime youth happened to open the classroom door and walked out from inside.
"Huh, Principal, why have you come personally?" The blonde girl was surprised to see the principal standing outside the classroom and felt a little honored. "Is this the student who skipped grades that you mentioned?" The blonde girl asked in surprise, pointing at Yang Jue.
"That's right, Julia, this student." The principal nodded.
"My goodness! He's really that young! Looks like he's only around six years old! Principal, what kind of magical genius is he? Are you sure to let him directly advance to our sixth-grade magic class?" The blonde girl asked a series of questions.
"Don't doubt what I'm saying, Julia. This student, I can only tell you that he's not ordinary! So you have to promise me that you'll take good care of him! Tell me, can you do it?" The principal said seriously to Julia.
"Don't worry, Principal! I'll definitely take good care of him! I promise, I swear!" Julia said firmly.
"Alright, I trust you." The principal nodded and said, "I'll leave it to you. I have other things to attend to, so I'll take my leave first. Goodbye, Julia, goodbye, Yang Jue."
"Goodbye, Principal." Yang Jue and Julia said in unison.
After the principal left, Julia squatted down in front of Yang Jue.
Because Julia's dress was a loose little frock, when she crouched down, the neckline in front of her chest inevitably opened up, and for a moment, the spring light was boundless.
Yang Jue only slightly lowered his gaze, and he saw the two white jade rabbits inside Julia's collar, gently swaying under the lace-trimmed cups... And that one arc-shaped groove between them was so beautiful that it made people have an irresistible urge to spit blood!
"Oh my, little friend, I never thought you'd be so adorable! Oh dear, teacher just can't help but love you! Come on, let teacher give you a kiss." As she spoke, without caring whether Yang Jue agreed or not, Zhu Liya hugged Yang Jue and gave him a big kiss on his right cheek.
Wow! So cool! Being kissed by a beauty like that, Yang Jue couldn't take it. His small face instantly turned bright red. However, since she had taken the initiative, he quickly gathered his courage and wrapped his arms around Julia's neck, then fiercely kissed her red lips.
Note, it's lips! Yang Jue directly kissed Julia's lips.
After "wave" landed on Julia's red lips, Yang Jue forcefully sucked in. Due to the excessive force, this kiss even made a considerable noise.
"Teacher, I like you too." Yang Jue said with a sly smile after kissing Julia's lips.
"Oh my! You little scamp! You're so young and already know how to kiss a girl on the lips?" Julia said with a smile, scolding him. Although she had been kissed on the lips, it was just by a six-year-old child, so she didn't get angry.
"Hehe." Yang Jue smiled slightly, pursing his lips.
