Chapter 10: Return Favors

  Chapter 10: Still Sacrificing Himself

After three classes in the morning, students at Allen International College have some time to rest at noon, including having lunch and taking a nap.

The school has a cafeteria, which provides free lunch for all students.

After class, Yang Jue picked up his small school bag and walked out of the classroom, planning to go to the first grade class next door to find his sister Hei Yue to have lunch together.

Who would have thought that as soon as he stepped out the door, Brown grabbed his sleeve. "What are you pulling me for, Brown? Not satisfied with getting beaten up? Want another round?" Yang Jue raised his fist at Brown's face.

Brown visibly shrank back in fear, then said: "Do you dare go to the small woods behind the school?"

"What's with the small woods behind the hill? I'm stuffed! What's the point of going there for no reason? Scram! I still need to go to the cafeteria to eat!" Yang Jue brushed him off impatiently.

"If you have the guts, go! If not, don't go! Hmph! I knew you were a coward! A waste of space! An idiot! Human trash! I had already guessed that you wouldn't dare to go!" Brown said, and then ran off without looking back.

"Damn it! Does he really think I don't dare to go?!" Yang Jue was furious. He knew that Brown was a fierce general, and also knew that Brown must have found some help and set up an ambush in the small woods, waiting for him to step into it, but Yang Jue still decided to take a trip! Not for anything else, just didn't want to let Brown*Lock look down on him!

Allen International College is built on a hill, with a small mountain behind it. On the mountain, there is a dense forest of small trees. Some students like to skip class and chat in this forest, especially couples who love to stay in this secluded place to talk about their feelings and secretly check each other's bodies.

After Yang Jue blew a whistle and walked into the woods, two people suddenly jumped out from behind a sturdy tree trunk.

"Yang Jue! Halt! Don't move!" Brown*Lock blocked his way with a pretended fierce expression.

Standing behind Brown was a guy about two heads taller than him, probably around 13 or 14 years old, with an appearance almost identical to Brown's, clearly the two were brothers.

Yang Jue took a look at the other person and couldn't help but laugh. "Brown, is he your brother?" Yang Jue asked with a smile.

"That's right! He is my brother, Peter Lock! The monitor of the first-year magic class in junior high school! To be honest with you, my brother has already become a primary magician who can proficiently cast third-level magic spells! If you know what's good for you, kneel down and apologize to me quickly! I might consider forgiving you! Otherwise, my brother won't go easy on you!" Brown said proudly.

"Ah, I'm so scared!" Yang Jue laughed and said, "Haha! I thought you had found some incredible helper? It turns out you're looking for your own brother! Hmph! In my eyes, he's still a useless waste! What are you looking at?! I was right! You two brothers are exactly the same, stupid and useless!"

"You..." Brown's face suddenly turned red with anger.

"Hey! Something's going on here! How can a first-grader be so arrogant these days?" Peter*Lock frowned and said, "Brown, is this the kid who hit you? He's really different from other elementary school students. What's different about him? It's just that he's too insolent! Brown, let me teach him a lesson for you. But this has to be kept secret, it can't get out, or else if people find out that I, a middle school student, went to bully a first-grader, I'll lose face!"

"Don't worry, bro, as long as you don't say anything and I don't say anything, Yang Jue won't dare to say anything either if he doesn't want to get beaten again. This matter will definitely not be known by anyone." Brown said with a solemn oath.

"Hey, are you guys done talking? If you're done, then hurry up and take action! My sister is still waiting for me to eat in the cafeteria! I don't have time to accompany you guys daydreaming here!" Yang Jue said impatiently.

"Hey! You young punk! It seems that if I don't teach you a lesson, you really won't know your own surname!" With that, Peter Lock was ready to take action.

Accompanied by Peter Lock's chanting, a cold air gradually condensed on his hand. The cold air solidified and slowly turned into an ice knife.

"Let this little student see what ice magic is all about - Ice Blade Technique!" Peter * Lock laughed.

Yang Jue laughed even more fiercely. "What? Ice Blade Technique? You're letting me witness such a low-level skill?" Yang Jue said with a laugh.

But despite saying that, Yang Jue didn't dare to be careless. After all, the other party was using a third-level magic spell, and Yang Jue currently had no defensive abilities against magic. If he were hit by Peter*Lock's Ice Blade Technique, he would either die or become disabled! So, Yang Jue quickly came up with an idea and instantly cast a common dark system magic "Nightfall", causing the entire small forest to lose all light and fall into complete darkness. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Yang Jue immediately rushed behind a large tree to hide.

"Haha! You want to fight me with beginner magic? Are you looking for death? Don't forget, I'm a full-system elemental mage! And with Jade's help, I can even instant-cast simple spells!" Yang Jue thought to himself.

Then, hiding behind a large tree, Yang Jue used the same technique as Peter Lock to cast an ice blade. In an instant, an ice blade condensed in his hand, and then he swung his hand back towards the small forest shrouded in night, and the ice blade flew out, it was unknown who was hit, only a miserable cry of "ah" came from afar.

"Haha! This is what they call 'using someone's own method against them'!" Yang Jue said with a sly smile.

Locke brothers have already learned their lesson, Yang Jue is also unwilling to stay any longer. Taking advantage of the night curtain not yet dispersing, he immediately ran out of the small forest and then whistled, strolling leisurely towards the school cafeteria.

It has to be said that Allen International College, as the best school in Eonia, has a canteen that is quite spacious and bright, and the food is also very delicious.

Sister Hei Yue helped Yang Jue get a meal and sat at a table by the window, looking out for him. Finally seeing Yang Jue's figure appear in the doorway of the cafeteria, Hei Yue's eyebrows rose with joy, and she hastily waved her hand, calling out: "Brother, brother, over here!"

Yang Jue said having a sister is great, she helped cook a good meal. Seeing Hei Yue waiting for him without eating first, he felt a surge of emotion in his heart.

"Hei Yue, if I don't come back for a very long time, you can eat first and don't have to wait for me." Yang Jue said with a heartache.

"That's not possible. I must wait for my brother to eat together. Otherwise, I won't be able to eat." Hei Yue said stubbornly.

"Silly girl! Alright, I'll come earlier next time and try not to be late." Yang Jue said while shoveling rice into his mouth.

  "Uh-huh." Hei Yue smiled happily.

While eating, Yang Jue began to chat with Hei Yue about his first day of school. Yang Jue naturally didn't need to say much, having already gotten into two fights in the morning and been sent to the principal's office, not to mention that he was born to brag, so his morning experiences were exaggerated to the point where Hei Yue admired him greatly.

However, when Yang Jue asked about Hei Yue's feelings that morning, Hei Yue seemed to have something she couldn't say and didn't want to talk much. When Yang Jue pressed her hard, she finally spoke out what was in her heart.

Originally, unlike Yang Jue's class, Hei Yue's class was not all composed of noble children. Except for Hei Yue, every student's family background was either rich or noble, with a very strong background. And elementary school students love to compare, always liking to talk about their dads and moms and entire families to compare. So, whether it was speech, behavior, or clothing, Hei Yue did not fit in with her classmates at all. All the classmates in the class saw that she was dressed too shabbily, obviously from a poor family, so no one wanted to be friends with her, making her feel lonely.

After learning about this, Yang Jue felt very distressed. After all, Hei Yue wasn't being bullied, and Yang Jue couldn't just go out and beat someone up. The only way to solve the problem was to make a lot of money, a huge amount of wealth, to package Hei Yue and let her live a decent life. That way, her classmates wouldn't look down on her.

Yang Jue had a magic crystal card with a deposit of 100,000 gold coins. Although Sola Card did not specify how he should use the money, he still didn't want to directly use the money inside, after all, that money wasn't earned by him.

"Hei Yue, don't worry! One day, I will definitely make you live a good life with my own ability!" Yang Jue secretly vowed.
