Chapter 55: Fertilizer Should Not Be Wasted on Other Peoples Fields

Chapter 55: Fertile Water Does Not Flow into Other People's Fields

As soon as we left Wuxi City, we didn't go far before seeing a large crowd of people, probably over a hundred, with all sorts of attire, and from time to time, voices of "ah", "good" and "be careful" came out from the crowd.

Needless to say, the two in the middle must be Qiu Mozhui and Duan Yu who were fighting against each other.

Chen Xiao Duan Yu and four others squeezed forward, just in time to see Jiumo Zhi's Flame Blade being wielded with full force, as he clashed with a burly giant in front of him.

That big man was about thirty years old, wearing a gray old cloth gown, already slightly tattered, with thick eyebrows and large eyes, high nose and wide mouth, a square face with a strong national character, with a somewhat weathered look, two flashes of light like cold electricity, with an extremely powerful presence.

Finally met his idol, Chen Xiao's blood was boiling with excitement, and he secretly cheered: "Idol, this is what an idol should be like! Only our Brother Qiao Feng can be considered 'heroic and chivalrous, the greatest hero'!"

At this time, the two men in the field were fighting fiercely. Kou Zhong's Flame Knife chopped through the air with a powerful palm force, while Qiao Feng's Dragon-Subduing Eighteen Palms was even more powerful than Hong Qi Gong's.

Hong Qigong could only use fifteen palms due to his innate abilities, and using the last three palms would inevitably cause internal injuries.

But Qiao Feng was different. The Dragon Subduing Eighteen Palms were as easy to use for him as eating and drinking.

Jumonji swung his palms alternately, one knife to the left and one to the right. His Flame Knife didn't have any profound techniques, relying solely on his robust internal energy to release an intangible knife aura akin to a cleaving palm strike. However, at his level, it was often the case that simpler and more direct violent techniques were more effective, while overly complex ones tended to be less so.

This blade of flame knife, roaring towards Qiao Feng, stirring up the sand and dust on the ground.

  A violent gust of wind!

Chao Feng, however, was concentrating intently, and suddenly his internal energy surged violently, causing his clothes to flutter without any wind. His eyes emitted a cold, electric-like glare, and with his right palm drawing a semi-circle, he struck out at Ju Mo Zhi who was standing far away, "Whoosh"! A blast of internal energy shook the air, creating a massive gust of wind that almost tore through the air, leaving behind a gigantic, visible handprint in mid-air.

One palm went out, the momentum didn't stop. Qiao Feng took a step forward, his right palm making another half-circle. The second wave of palm force was faster and more urgent than the first, combining with the first to form an even larger palm print that struck towards Jiumozhi!

His move was one of the strongest in the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms: Double Dragons Fetching Water!

The advantage of this move lies in the two palm forces, one front and one back. The front palm force is slow, while the rear palm force catches up with the front one, merging the two palm forces together. The power instantly becomes equivalent to having two Qiao Feng attacking the enemy at the same time, making it a powerful move that is hard to defend against.

Qiao Feng's palm power thoroughly suppressed Jiumozhi's Flame Knife, and Jiumozhi knew that this move was vicious and didn't dare to collide head-on. He used his body movement technique and barely dodged Qiao Feng's palm at the last minute. However, just the palm wind alone was enough to make his blood circulation unsmooth.

This move is invincible and also consumes a lot of internal energy. Even with Qiao Feng's abilities, he still needs to take a slight breath before releasing the skill to attack the enemy.

Jiumo Zhi stood still, with his palms together, and said: "Amitabha Buddha, North Qiao Feng, South Murong, indeed their names are not in vain. Qiao Shi Zhu, shall we just give up like this? How is it?"

Jiumozhi saw that the two had been fighting for two days without a winner, and if they continued to fight, it would likely end in mutual defeat, which was not worth it.

He was also very curious, when did the Central Plains martial arts world produce such a great hero. The names of Bei Qiao Feng and Nan Mu Yong were heard long ago, but he never thought that Qiao Feng would be so powerful.

But all he heard was Qiao Feng saying loudly, "The National Master came to our Central Plains to stir up trouble, took away Chen Xiao, and injured Qi Gong. This account cannot be settled so easily."

When Qiao Feng mentioned Chen Xiao, Kou Zhong's facial muscles twitched, a perpetual pain in his heart. He thought to himself that if only he could master a few more moves of the Six Meridians Divine Sword, he wouldn't be forced into this predicament by Qiao Feng. However, though bitter in his heart, he said: "Amitabha, I indeed invited Chen Gongzi, but Chen Gongzi has already left the vicinity of Taihu Lake. As for Hong Qi, it's a martial arts duel, and some injuries are unavoidable."

Qiao Feng asked: "Has Chen Xiao really left? A monk does not speak falsely."

"Amida Buddha, what I have said is naturally true and real, without a single false word."

Jiao Feng thought for a moment and felt that as the identity of Ji Mo Zhi, it was unlikely to deceive people. He said: "Since the Guoshi has already said so, then please do so. However, I would like to remind the Guoshi that in the Central Plains martial arts world, it is not a place where the Guoshi can cover the sky with one hand."

Chen Xiao listened to Qiao Feng's bold words and his blood surged with excitement. He loudly praised: "Good fellow!"

His shout instantly drew the attention of everyone around him.

Qiao Feng and Jiumozhi as well as Old Venomous, Hong Qigong who was watching from a distance all shouted: "Chen Xiao!"

Jiumozhi's body suddenly surged with internal energy, and he was about to make a move. However, he changed his mind, thinking that previously, Qiaofeng had still adhered to the Jianghu code of conduct, only engaging in single combat with himself. If he were to try to capture Chen Xiao now, it would likely lead to a group attack, which would not end well.

Thinking of this, Ji Mo Zhi's eyes rolled around and suddenly all his energy was withdrawn. He clasped his palms together and smiled: "Amitabha Buddha, Chen Gongzi has a noble appearance, not a single hair is harmed, it's a joyous occasion." As he spoke, he turned to look at Qiao Feng and said: "Now that Chen Gongzi has appeared, this monk will take his leave."

He said he would leave and then left, using his lightness skill, and in the blink of an eye, he was gone without a trace.

Towards the majestic and awe-inspiring Qiao Feng, he was absolutely Chen Xiao's idol. At this moment, he didn't care about anything else, and ran a few steps forward, rushing towards Qiao Feng with a smile: "Brother Qiao, your previous palm move was simply stunning, haha!" As he spoke, he grabbed Qiao Feng's sleeve and said: "Brother Qiao, if you don't mind that I have no martial arts skills, let's go drink now."

Qiao Feng looked Chen Xiao up and down, burst out laughing, and said: "I've long heard that although Brother Chen doesn't know martial arts, he has a heroic and chivalrous spirit. Today I see it's true. Come on, let's go drink!"

Everyone saw that this person was indeed Chen Xiao, who possessed the legendary "Huahua Baojian" (Sunflower Manual), and they were all stirred up. However, at this moment, Qiao Feng, one of the six greatest masters, who had been fighting evenly with Kumarajiva for two days, was present, so who dared to make a move?

But they thought what Chen Xiao wouldn't know, and immediately squeezed his eyes at the surrounding heroes, saying: "The 'Kuihua Baojian' was stolen by Hong Renxiong and Luo Renjie of Qingcheng Sect, why don't you hurry up and chase after them!"

He dared to say such words in front of Qiao Feng, a hero of his stature. The crowd present couldn't help but think it was fake, and before anyone knew it, someone shouted and the crowd dispersed, with half of them gone in an instant.

Qiao Feng hastily asked from the side: "Brother Chen, is what you just said true?"

Chen Xiao smiled and said: "The secret recipe was stolen, but it's a fake one. I modified it randomly myself."

He whispered two sentences in Qiao Feng's ear, making Qiao Feng laugh loudly and say: "Good kid, you're something! Haha!" He then put his arm around Chen Xiao's shoulder and said loudly: "Let's go drink!"

The two men were similar in height and build, walking together like close brothers. Duan Yu also squeezed over and said, "Take me with you, take me with you."

Qiao Feng burst out laughing: "If I'm not mistaken, this must be Duan Yu, the one who fought with Lao Denuo at Liu Zhengfeng's residence and defeated Gwok Jing at Huashan?"

Duan Yu scratched his head in embarrassment and said somewhat shyly, "Actually, I'm not that great either, it's just that Lord Linghu has good sword skills."

Qiao Feng pulled Duan Yu back with one hand, and the three of them looked up at the sky and burst out laughing, extremely delighted.

Wang Yu Yan gazed at the three young men, let out a long sigh and thought to herself: "The Central Plains martial world has so many outstanding young heroes... Brother's goal... Alas."

Thinking of this, I finally followed Ah Zhu and Ah Bi's two girls.

The old man didn't know what Chen Xiao said to Qiao Feng's ear, anxious and scratching his ears, but seeing Chen Xiao, Qiao Feng, and Duan Yu, he couldn't intervene. In the end, he could only stand behind Hong Qi Gong and say: "Old beggar, guess what Chen Xiao just said in your master Qiao's ear?"

Hong Qigong hummed twice, leaning on the broken wooden staff and following behind a group of people. He said in a bad mood: "How do I know? Ask that little kid and you'll be done."

The old rascal, who had always been restless by nature, rolled his eyes around and suddenly ran to the front, laughing and saying: "Chen Xiaozi, can you do the Flame Knife?"

Huh? How did he come up with this?

Chen Xiao curiously asked: "Big Brother Zhou, why are you asking this?"

The old man suddenly squeezed away Duan Yu, who was standing beside him, and hugged Chen Xiao's arm, laughing: "Haha, it's like this. I think that stinky monk's Flame Knife is quite interesting. You've spent a lot of time with him, so teach me how to wield his Flame Knife, okay? Hmm, you probably don't know the secret of using the Flame Knife, but since you told me about his weakness, I suppose you must have discovered something?"

People in the jianghu often keep others' skills secret, but this old rascal never talks about those many rules. As long as he thinks it's fun, he'll learn anything.

Look at that old rascal's anxious appearance, Chen Xiao also found it amusing and said: "It's just a broken fire blade, I can teach you if you want."

The old rascal originally just wanted to learn for fun, but didn't expect Chen Xiao to actually be good at it. This was both surprising and delightful, so he immediately pulled Chen Xiao's arm and walked aside, saying: "I couldn't beat that Ji Mo Zhi, but I'm not willing to admit defeat to him either. For over a decade, I've been proud and competitive, if not for Master Qiao stepping in, I would have been ruined in one night. Come on, little brother, here we have grass and trees, let's make a vow to heaven and become sworn brothers. From now on, we'll share good fortune and bad together... this way, you can teach me the Fire Blade technique, and it won't be like giving away valuable water to outsiders..."

He said this, but Qiao Feng frowned and said: "Old Zhou, you...".

Zhou Botong looked at Qiao Feng and suddenly burst out laughing, saying: "Right, right, take you along too, take you along too!"

As he spoke, he dragged the two of them away.

Qiao Feng refused, saying: "Sworn brothers don't settle things so carelessly."

After hearing what Zhou Botong said, Zhou Botong "plop" sat on the ground, covering his face and crying loudly, pulling his beard: "Woo woo... You don't want to be sworn brothers with me? Then you must despise my martial arts for not being as good as yours. In those years when I became sworn brothers with Wang Chongyang, he also hesitated..."
