A brief introduction to the forces within is limited to some positive factions

Introduction of the work Forces in Xuanmen (limited to some orthodox schools)

Xuán Mén faction settings (mainly orthodox forces)

Orthodox Taoism is mainly divided into Shu Mountain Emei Sect, Xianzong and Daozong.

Mount Emei School of Sichuan Province

The Emei Sect was founded in the early Tang Dynasty, with many disciples under its door. It is a powerful immortal sect. In its early years, due to the escape of Emei Sect's disciple during the battle against demons, the war ended in defeat, severely damaging the Emei Sect's vitality and nearly leading to its downfall. As a result, the Emei Sect made great efforts to cultivate its disciples, with Daxuanmen being young boys and girls.

Emei Sect divides into Daxuanmen (the name of the book Xuanmen comes from this)

Jian Xian Men: The main force of Emei Sect, with the saying "Emei Yang, Jian Xian strong". Divided into two major categories: Ding Jian Dao and Dou Jian Dao. Ding Jian Dao is biased towards defense, while Dou Jian Dao is biased towards offense. Among them, "Fu Rou Tian Wang Dun" is a high-level technique that can resist any external attack, convert the damage received by oneself into magical power, and protect multiple companions. Disciples who cultivate this technique often become the leader and commander of Emei's highest technique, "Zhen Wu Da Zhen".

Feng Lei Men: Skilled in using the powers of water, fire, wind and thunder, possessing a powerful killing technique. Its ultimate skill "Ba Huang Lei Yan Liu" can destroy heaven and earth. However, it lacks defensive techniques, and when fighting against extremely strong demon kings, it requires the protection of Jian Xian Men.

Dun Jia Men: Shrinking the earth and escaping to heaven, changing shape and position, thousands of miles of mountains and rivers are like a leisurely courtyard, possessing the magical ability to transform space, can also mobilize the "True Martial Array" companions. The attack is mainly based on stealth, with swift and ruthless lethality.

Divination Gate: Skilled in detecting and manipulating the flow of energy, fortune-telling numbers. Against ferocious opponents, they often change their luck, making them face danger and lose effectiveness in their attacks, defeating them without a fight. Divination Gate is also skilled at creating mysterious talismans and magical papers.

Yushoumen: Train and command the divine beasts between heaven and earth, such as the dragon, phoenix, qilin, etc., combine their divine power with one's own magical power to form a "destined divine beast", also excels at attacking. Especially when they move together in groups, it is the main force of the true martial arts formation.

Dan Medicine Gate: Manufactures various Dan medicines, which grant instant access to various divine abilities, including the spells of other Xuanmen. In intense battles, it can also use "Transmission of Dan Technique" to transmit Lingdan to companions, enhancing their magical powers and techniques, serving as an important auxiliary to the True Martial Formation.

Soul Capturing Gate: A mysterious and sinister technique of the Emei Sect. It can disrupt the opponent's mental state, create illusions, and pull the target's soul into a self-created dream realm. In actual combat, it can summon ghostly spirits from the underworld to aid in battle, complementing the grand assault of the Beast Taming Gate with its eerie and ruthless ghost-controlling technique, perfectly supplementing the power of the True Martial Formation.

Qí Qiǎo Mén: Skilled in manufacturing various magical artifacts and machinery, from small ones like flying wooden crows to large ones like iron beasts for attacking cities, all of which have extraordinary effects under the magical power of Qí Qiǎo Mén disciples. The magical artifacts of other sects are also mostly refined by Qí Qiǎo Mén.

Shennongmen: Treats illnesses and injuries, revives the dead, can regrow severed limbs, neutralize extreme poison, and surpasses any ordinary medical technique. The "Thousand Mile Healing Technique" allows for long-distance healing of companions, making it an indispensable technique in the True Martial Formation. Meanwhile, the "Five Paths Plague King Technique" can spread a peculiar and formidable disease, although its attack effect is slower than other techniques, Shennongmen is not completely without lethal force.

  2. Introduction to the Three Great Immortal Sects:

Xianzong values nature and non-action, far away from worldly mundane affairs, divided into three factions: Tiānshān, Kūnlún, and Pénglái.

Tianshan Xianzong: A powerful immortal sect, characterized by the ability to communicate with spirits and possess souls. The former refers to the manipulation of external objects through pure intention, controlling the outside world, and being able to communicate with all living things spiritually. The latter involves transferring one's own soul into the body of any living being. Tianshan Xianzong highly values "natural truth", has no master-disciple relationship or sect rules, discards any moral or ritual constraints, and its immortals are almost equivalent to wild people in nature, often not wearing clothes for years on end. This sect is located far away in the Tianshan immortal realm, unknown to the world.

Kunlun Xianzong: Among the three schools of Xianzong, Kunlun School is closer to the mortal world. It has a wide variety of Daoist methods and can be divided into two major categories: "Wu" (martial arts) and "Tian" (heavenly). Tian Suo is in charge of the heavenly operation, while Tian Wu Suo is in charge of the martial operation. Due to its extremely limited transmission, it gradually disappeared after the Tang Dynasty.

Penglai Xianzong: Located in the distant East Sea, divided into Fangzhang, Yingzhou, Penglai three islands, its cultivation method is unique. Cultivators often use fire burning, earth burial, water submersion and other ascetic practices to temper their mind, ultimately reaching the realm of shedding suffering and achieving eternal life. Skilled in manufacturing various divine robes and armor, with spiritual powers controlling the "metal, wood, water, fire, earth" five elements as the mainstay. Before the Tang Dynasty, Penglai's power was very strong, but later declined greatly. By the time of the Xuanmen period, Penglai's immortal arts had evolved into Eastern Ninja techniques, showing signs of revival and resurgence, but its orthodox nature had changed, often becoming a powerful and overbearing force.

  3, Taoist Overview:

The Taoist school of Daozong was founded in the Han Dynasty, with its first ancestor being the "Shou Chun Ba Gong" under the command of the King of Huainan. Taking advantage of the chaos caused by the closure of the ancestral master Ruan Chendashi, he bullied his fellow disciples.
