Chapter 39: Mava is in trouble again (1)

  Tianhu took the ginseng and walked out of the store, thinking that he would just go back because he felt that it wasn't necessary to take down the mountain or uproot anything. He just wanted to lure the enemy and cause some chaos.

  But as soon as he reached the door, he heard several gunshots coming from where the woman had screamed earlier.

  Tianhu quickly looked in that direction and saw three or four Japanese corpses lying on the street, with sounds of fighting still coming from inside.

  "Mava, Haeniede, let's go! The devil's patrol team is coming!" Li Fei shouted from outside, seeing two teams of Japanese soldiers running towards them from both sides of the street.

  Mava quickly picked up the girl and ran out. Tianhu saw that things had reached this point and didn't say anything else. He picked up a gun from the ground and threw one to Haeniede, and they charged out of the door together.

  "Li Fei, help Mava carry the girl and find a place to hide. We'll cover you from behind," Tianhu ordered.

  Mava was small in stature, but she had strength. However, with the girl on her back, she was half-dragging her on the ground. Li Fei immediately ran over and took the girl from Mava, putting her on his own back and running forward.

  Mava didn't say anything, just picked up a gun and followed Tianhu, covering Li Fei as they ran.

  "Stop! Stop!" The Japanese soldiers seemed to have seen the corpses on the ground and were shouting and shooting behind them.

  Mava, Tianhu, Haeniede, and Li Fei quickly hid behind a wall.

  "What do we do?" Haeniede asked Tianhu.

  But before he could answer, Mava had already started shooting at the Japanese soldiers, her bullets accurately hitting their heads.

  "Fire!" Tianhu ordered without hesitation.

  Tianhu, Mava, Li Fei, and Haeniede were all skilled marksmen, especially Mava, who targeted the enemy's heads. The Japanese soldiers who came later could only shake their heads in confusion as they chased after them.

  The twelve Japanese soldiers were eliminated in just a short time, but this had also alerted the entire city of devils. Whistles and gathering calls could be heard everywhere.

  "What do we do?" Li Fei asked Tianhu.

  Tianhu looked at Mava, who didn't show any fear or guilt. She was still calm and composed.

  Tianhu didn't scold her either. He looked around and saw that all the doors on the street had been closed in an instant.
