Sin City (The Seventh Part: Rescue The Suspect)
Yu Fei, who had just woken up, habitually sat in the office and opened the computer screen to control the surveillance monitors around the camp. A suspicious vehicle also caught his attention. He hastily washed his face and ran out of the camp to find Wu Junwen. Wu Junwen hid in a place, still holding an M468 rifle. He wanted to show weakness to the people who were sneaking into the camp and prison. Yu Fei saw him hiding in the corner and asked: "There are suspicious vehicles outside, why don't you go take a look?"
"Keep your voice down, don't scare the snake away. Since I signed the contract with you, I haven't encountered any armed invasion situation yet. It's been a long time since I've fired live ammunition, can you let me satisfy my gun cravings? 6.8mm bullets, newly designed and each one is brand new. I heard they have greater power and range than MP-5 submachine gun bullets, much stronger than 5.56mm bullets, not inferior to AK rifle bullets. I haven't used it to shoot anyone yet, I want to ask for your help, take all your constabulary away, I'll rent you an extra car as a command vehicle, once you're gone, I'll handle the situation here. If you feel unsafe, just take this, sooner or later you'll see our professional level." Wu Junwen handed him a handheld computer.
"What is this thing? Is it a remote viewing device?" Yu Fei asked.
"You open the switch, go there and fight, I'll send out a drone to take aerial shots, you can see how I deal with them, the faster the better, if you don't leave, they will have some estimates." Wu Junwen explained and opened the drone controller, in the prison yard, there was a very large helicopter model, which was obviously not for entertainment.
"Alright, I'm off." Yu Fei also wanted to see if Wu Junwen's security company was professional. He returned to the military camp and blew his whistle, and the soldiers immediately lined up outside the barracks. Yu Fei said simply: "Today's task is very simple. Under the leadership of the commanding officer, you will be on duty all day. Wen Yong, arrange for some good working meals for them. I'll reimburse you when we get back. Let's go."
The soldiers were numb with fatigue, accustomed to being dispatched for missions. Searching other people's cars was a decent job. They could even drive the detained vehicles around. Of course, they were used to being on duty. Wen Yong led the troops onto the vehicle according to Yu Fei's command. Three armored vehicles hastily left the barracks. Yu Fei ordered Xia Yun to leave alone in an armored vehicle. The military vehicles left behind in the camp were not bulletproof. For safety reasons, he didn't dare sit in the command vehicle either.
Four armored vehicles left the barracks, Song Huan also brought several bodyguards to monitor, and his subordinates reported very seriously. "There is not a single person in the garrison, no soldiers on duty in the corner tower, and the security company's guys don't know what to do. Only a few people are on duty, looking at magazines. It seems that they are not guarding against us at all. Today, four cars were opened from the barracks, all of which were rented armored vehicles from the security company. There should be checkpoints for the garrison on the streets, and I have passed by several checkpoints while driving."
"How many people are there at the checkpoint?" Song Huan asked.
"Not many people, one class is in charge of a checkpoint, sometimes two, each class has twelve people, we can just send someone to the city to count them." The classmate suggested a good method, Song Huan said: "Let our people gather, find someone to go and count the constabulary in the city, confirm they are all there and then we take action."
"Why don't we send a lawyer to investigate first?" his subordinate suggested.
"The constables have finally left, who are you going to find a lawyer to see? I've never heard of that lawyer meeting with arrested people in the constabulary's barracks. We're preparing to take action, is it useful to rely on lawyers to play tricks? Have you seen the newspaper recently? Do you know how many lawyers have died? They can't even protect themselves, how can they get my father out? Everyone, get your guns ready and learn from others' failures last time. I've prepared bulletproof vests for you all, put them on." Song Huan said to the people in the same car, then used the intercom to inform the people in other cars.
To minimize the target, Song Huan only mobilized two vehicles. He didn't let his subordinates drive company cars or private cars to take action. Instead, he rented a container truck at the dock and hid all the armed men inside the container truck. The sedan he was in had only two followers responsible for monitoring the barracks. The first car that came to monitor the barracks earlier had been called away to avoid raising suspicion. The garrison soldiers had left, and his people were ready with bulletproof vests and weapons. Song Huan held a walkie-talkie, preparing to give orders. He looked at his watch; it was already afternoon, and things had dragged on for so long that he had no patience left. Speaking into the walkie-talkie, he said: "Drive the car over and take immediate action."
A container truck emerged from a quiet road and sped towards the gendarmerie barracks, with over 100 people on board armed to the teeth. Some were bodyguards hired by Song Huan's family, some were temporary hitmen, and others were regular members of this criminal gang. Over 100 guns cocked and loaded, the truck stopped outside the gendarmerie, the container doors opened, and the eager thugs and henchmen rushed out to start a firefight. At that moment, a remote-controlled drone from a professional security company took off, its camera monitoring the armed men's frenzy.
"Wait for them to fire the first shot." Wu Junwen hid everyone in the bunker, and the bandits across from him were firing wildly like fools, shouting loudly. Wu Junwen turned his head and asked his subordinates, "Do you know the difference between a mercenary and an assassin?" His subordinate shook his head and replied, "I just know they both carry guns and kill people."
"Mercenaries are often hitmen, long-term practitioners of this trade, and they have teams. Assassins are almost always in pairs, small-time hooligans. Do you know the difference between mercenaries and hoodlums?" Wu Junwen asked without rushing to battle, his subordinates were a bit anxious, "Then how do I know? I've never been a hoodlum or joined a gang."
"Because we are professionals, everyone wears gas masks, tear gas launch." Wu Junwen gave the order and also put on a gas mask. The MK19 automatic grenade launcher continuously spat out a large pile of tear gas canisters. The smoke screen spread to the rear of the armed elements. As long as they turned around and ran, the toxic smoke would choke them to death unless they rushed forward. The armed men saw that something was being fired and discovered it was tear gas, they laughed happily, thinking that the security company was very powerful.
"Put down your weapons, this is a security company's warning line, under national law and contract, our company has the right to use lethal force against armed intruders." The loudspeaker blared out the pre-recorded message. The armed thugs cursed back: "Go to hell, shut up you bastard." The thug attempted to shoot at the loudspeaker, but a dozen automatic rifles suddenly opened fire from across the way.
The intense gunfire was a sound that the thugs had never heard before, it was a new type of gun firing its special bullets, of course they wouldn't hear this sound in action movies. The automatic rifle quickly sprayed out dense bullets, 6.8mm bullets instantly penetrated the thugs' bulletproof vests, and many were killed on the spot.
"Damn it, they have bulletproof vests, switch to something heavier, show them some good stuff." Wu Junwen replaced the magazine of his M468 rifle and put it aside. This thing was not bad but still usable for self-defense. He directly picked up an old Akm assault rifle and fired at the thugs wearing bulletproof vests. Most bulletproof vests couldn't withstand the powerful rifle bullets, which tore through the vests and into the bodies. The other security guards used various weapons, including ancient PD light machine guns, semi-new RPK-47 machine guns, PK light machine guns, and some even set up M60 machine guns to sweep outward. A large number of machine guns roared together, with powerful bullets piercing bulletproof clothing and even passing through bodies. At a distance of two or three hundred meters, the powerful bullets easily penetrated the bulletproof vests.
Movie-watching gangsters think that wearing bulletproof vests makes them invincible, but they are not professionals and do not understand that most bulletproof vests can only withstand handgun bullets. Even military-grade bulletproof vests have difficulty withstanding close-range AKM rifle fire, unless reinforced with ballistic plates to counter the powerful rifle bullets. These people wear level-one bulletproof vests, relying on anti-handgun clothing to resist rifle bullets, which is no different from not wearing anything at all.
"You damned bastards, you're too loud!" A security guard drove out in a jeep with an anti-aircraft machine gun mounted on it, a DShK46-type machine gun. The machine gun was also equipped with bulletproof armor plating. After the security guard put on his ear protection, he used the high-caliber machine gun to fire horizontally at the thugs in front of him. The bullets from the machine gun could easily pierce light armored vehicles and hit people as easily as a nail gun shooting persimmons.
"My god, he's gone mad." Many security guards couldn't stand the sound of the machine guns and simply dropped their guns to cover their ears with their hands. The bandits in front of them had already been killed by more than half, a few were still running away, and the high-angle machine gun easily shot down the last bandit. Corpses lay scattered all over the ground, after the smoke from the tear gas grenades dispersed, not one person was standing on the ground.
Song Huan sat in the sedan chair to watch the battle, and within two minutes, all the people he had called were killed outside the garrison. This was a disaster, his father hadn't even rescued their own men yet they were all dead, he immediately slapped the two subordinates in front of him, "Hurry up and drive away, do you want to die here too, idiots."
When he finished cursing, he discovered that his hands were covered in fresh blood. The two bodyguards in the front and rear seats had already died. Two large-caliber machine gun bullets had pierced the car's windshield, penetrating the bulletproof vests of the two men, and conical bullets had drilled into their bodies, causing severe internal injuries from kinetic energy. Both men's noses and mouths were bleeding simultaneously, with wounds still emitting hot steam and blood. Song Huan almost collapsed in fright, hastily opening the door to drop his gun and fleeing the scene on foot.
"Who allowed you to use the heavy machine gun." Wu Junwen brought back the drone and questioned his subordinates, who said: "We are just a few people, if we don't want to suffer losses, we must use large-caliber weapons, otherwise we will die at the hands of these nameless small fries. I'll go take a look if there's any collateral damage." - Sin City
