Writing about machine guns and political movements

Writing about machine guns and political movements

The plot of "Heavy Machine Gun" is not limited to the period of resistance against Japan, and the life after the war made the characters in the book experience even greater and more numerous tests. The continuous political movements almost didn't give them a chance to breathe, making them pay a price far more severe than during the war.

The author does not want to dwell too much on these political issues, but it's not that I dare not speak, rather in the second half of this article, I have concentrated on using facts to illustrate my point. The road has been tortuous and we have walked through it; what we need to do now is to reflect and gain insight into some aspects of human nature through the hardships encountered by the Chinese people in the thirty years since the founding of the country. Just as we should not forget the history of the War of Resistance, we should also not forget the detours we have taken. History cannot be changed and there is no need to blame anyone; what's important is to do well on our future path, including both the nation and each individual.

After reviewing a lot of materials, I have compiled the following table of major political movements in China since the founding of New China. There may be some errors that are unavoidable. However, it is clear from this table what my feelings and wishes are.
