He also emphasized that after the Chinese prisoners of war returned to China, they should continue to reform and expose the "ugly face" of the Chinese government to the Chinese people who were "deceived". The prisoners just listened quietly, no one said anything.

  When dinner began, the person in charge of Langshan Prisoner-of-War Camp unexpectedly stood up to the middle table and poured himself a glass of wine. He started speaking: "Chinese prisoners of war, take a look at the food in front of you. This shows that the Vietnamese people are friendly. We respect the basic principles of international law." At this point, the person in charge looked at the reactions of the Chinese soldiers below with satisfaction, seeing that no one had picked up their chopsticks, but were quietly listening to his speech, with satisfied expressions on their faces.
